Guest Reviews
- Christopher (6/5): - Giving this a 3 start since in the property description it says there was laundry, but there was none.
- richard (8/5): - Great location in a walking distance to old town and port. Comfortable room. Definitely recommend.
- Ramon (4/5): - There was no sign or visible identification . Drivers do not know the address is confusing.it took me two hours find it Taxi charges 140 euros to finally get it
- Clare (6/5): - The property was nice, and easily walkable to many things. The service was poor. Despite repeated attempts to message the property via the app over several weeks, they did not reply to any messages. Given this was a non refundable booking, this was quite stressful. I eventually had to call to confirm my late checkin and state my arrival time. After doing so, I finally received a message days prior to checkin … asking me to share my arrival time. I was unimpressed. Had i spent $15 in long distance charges only to not have the details recorded?? Upon checkin, I was given directions to the room and the roomkey. Easy. There were no details in the room about amenities, particularly the wifi and room safe. I could not get the wifi until the next day, as the checkin desk was closed. And when I did i was told that the safe (which is listed in room amenities and which i personally find a key attribute) was not available. They do not have a key to it. The shower is only partially working, with water spraying all over the wall outside the enclosure. The AC cannot be adjusted.
The location is great. Nice view. The property manager is extremely poor at communication on many levels.
Very annoyed.
- Amit (10/5): - Wonderful
- Michael (8/5): - Got the job done for a quick and affordable stay in split. Nice balcony and spacious rooms
Comfortable beds
- Lindsey (6/5): - Excellent location and nice physical space (clean bathroom, great shower, comfortable beds) but it smelled quite bad, like pee. We were there during a rainstorm and the windows were leaky, a bit concerning.
- Naushad (10/5): - Amazing location and surprisingly very upscale interior.
The only issue is not good instructions for checkin at tgeand getting into the property.
- Kum Seng (4/5): - Firstly, there's NO RECEPTION @ the place. You needed to walk 5 minutes to another building which needed you to press the intercom to ask them to let you in so that you can go up to meet the receptionist who also serves another hotel, PRIMA. I was lucky to get a local at a shop to call and find out where to go. After getting your keycard, get to walk back to the actual building again. There's NO ELEVATOR or ESCALATORS. Carry your luggage up 3 floors. Last night when i came back there's no lighting along the staircase. Use you mobile phone light.
- Edward (10/5): - Nice big comfortable bedroom, and good ensuite bathroom. Great location, close to the old town centre, but quiet. Kettle and mug in the room to make coffee.
- elaine (4/5): - Don't be fooled by the photos , they certainly don't match the property , after checking in at Prima , you then have to go to a shared building 300 meters away, many different apartments I assume renting out different floors and blocks, the court yard is full of over flowing bins and rubbish. On entering our block we were met with a horrible smell, air freshener available on a chest of drawers,so the agency are aware .
we then entered the apartment, it was semi clean but the walls are disgustingly filthy and in need of painting, the blinds on the upstairs velux are broken so can't be pulled up to enjoy the view, pretty annoying. The WiFi didn't work , The balcony is not as pictured , one night stay , we would not return and I wouldn't recommend.
- Logan (10/5): - everything checked our boxes!
- Monica (10/5): - Very close to the town but kind of hard to find at first. I had to contact management for them to give me the keys to check in. As the reviews mention, you do need to lug your luggage up 3 flights of stairs, so prepare. But it felt like a nice, quiet and safe location. I did get the terrace and it was quite lovely to see the sunset from there. The room is well conditioned and shower has good pressure.
- Linda (6/5): - Don't be fooled by the photo, there is no terrace! The property was a little difficult to find, and the main desk is actually in a shopping mall a short distance away. There is no elevator, so be prepared to haul your luggage up 3 flights of stairs. It is a short, easy walk to the Palace.
- Freddy (6/5): A hassle - The hotel is part of a building that’s on the third floor so if you have luggage get ready to carry it, they said they could help lift it, but I guess since I came late, they didn’t offer that anymore, there’s no parking anywhere on the property. You have to find it on the app called split parking but when you tried to pay for it, it said it was free. I woke up in the morning with the ticket on my car , very confusing , you have to check in down the street at their sister hotel (kind of an inconvenience if you have luggage and you got dropped off or something , the room had hair everywhere from the bathroom to bed to floor .. there’s no sign telling you where the hotel is , the lady at the front desk had to help me find it , she came to me and showed me where it was which was very nice of her . It wasn’t until you got to the 3rd floor where it says the name , how about having it outside ..
- Catherine (10/5): - In love with this property. Didn’t mind climbing up stairs to get to my room because it was so comfortable and had everything I needed. Made my visit much more enjoyable since I could have a good nights rest!
- Adrienne (6/5): - we liked the layout of the apartment. Worked well for the family. However, our taxi driver couldn't find it, so just left us standing at the side of a random road. When we did eventually find it, we couldn't work out how to access it. We finally found the night porter who was in a different building. We landed at 9.45, we were in the apartment by 1am - it took a lot longer than I had anticipated. Communication with the host was appalling. I had to go through Expedia for mediation. I sent a number of messages that just weren't answered
- Christa (4/5): ONLY ACCEPTS CASH - I was extremely disappointed in my stay here. The hotel was in a very convenient location and we had no issue with the cleanliness of the place. But we were very unhappy about the communication we received from this accommodation. They do not accept cards and only accept cash. We were not told this until we got there. We are frequent travelers and have never come across a lodging that only accepts cash. We were offered a link to pay that wasn't working and weren't consistently communicated with until our last day when we were told to just get cash. We lost over two hundred dollars in the conversion rate/fees because of this. (600 dollars at an ATM!) I reached out to hotels.com to see if I could pay online and they also refused. Apparently there is one tiny sentence on the very bottom of a page that says something about only cash that I missed. I would not stay here again.
Also the lights in the hallway weren't working at night so walking up three flights of very dark and slippery stairs wasn't fun. This is my first negative review on this site. We don't expect/ask for a lot when we are traveling since we aren't there to spend time in the room. This inconvenience was extremely disappointing.
- Tami (8/5): - There was a mix up with this property. They don’t take Credit Cards, only cash. The proprietor was very kind and accommodating and made an exception. The unit was on the 4th and 5th floor, no elevator which is typical for this area. Nonetheless, it was a long hike with our luggage. There were several things in the unit that were either not working or needed repair. They took care of them quickly. I also found dust bunnies on the floor in the corners and some mildew in the shower. The floor plan of this unit was not ideal as it only had one bathroom with a shower and 2 beds and a half bath upstairs. You had to walk through the master bedroom to get to the bathroom to take a shower, so it was impossible not to disturb the person in bed… not the best floor plan. There was a mixup when I went to book another room with them, and I found out there was another Nirvana rooms about a mile away, but had the same pictures as this one in Expedia. Very confusing! We made the best of it though. Also, Expedia messed up the reservation and had us booked for two nights. Instead of three, good thing I had the confirmation for three nights. The whole stay was a bit of a mess because of the payment and the two rooms being a mile away from each other but we made the best of it.
- Raanan (10/5): - People were very nice and helpful
- Gloria (10/5): - Dora was super helpful and easy to be contact with.
Our teens enjoyed the loft area and it was comfortable and clean. Would definitely book there again.
- Hairong (10/5): - The location is very close to old town and seaside. The room is spacious, nice and clean. The communication with Ms Dora was easy and smooth. The Prima reception met us for underground garaged parking and walked us to the hotel which is quite smooth. It does require 5-8 minutes of walk from garage and some flights of stairs, if you travel light with backpack, it is doable. Leaving bigger luggage in car is safe because there is a garage door. I would highly recommend this place if you want a great location to old town at a much cheaper price than the old town hotels. Many thanks to Dora and Prima reception.
- Yasuyo (6/5): - When we were having a breakfast at the outside terrace in the first morning, the cleaning lady came, all of sudden, and screamed at us and kicked us out, as she was telling that she was not allowed to clean our room, if we were present, and also as other guests were arriving and the place we were sitting was supposed to reserved for other guests. There were so many "not allowed to" and "supposed to" that we were not informed in advance, and it was extremely unpleasant to be scolded and kicked out by the cleaning lady on the first day of our vacation, after a long trip to Croatia. The apartment was clean but much smaller than we had expected, and did not have a space nor table and chairs for us to sit and eat inside.
- Reneta (4/5): Smelly but clean place - The lady is very nice and keep the place very clean. I didn’t like a few things - The place has a very strong smell from her cooking but I asked her to keep the windows open and that reduced the smell. It didn’t fully get eliminated since she cooks daily but it was little better with keeping all windows open. She needs to buy a proper duvet since it had 2 old blankets and it’s cold at night. The blankets were little bit groused (see picture below). Also, the walking time to Old town is 18min not 10.
- Leslie (10/5): - Lovely rooms in great location
- Aaron (10/5): We enjoy our stay! - The location of the apartment is superb. All the major attractions, shops, and restaurants are within a few minutes walk. The host also set up an extra bed for my 5-year old without a charge. There is a small convenient market next to the building so we were able to buy water, milk, drinks, snacks, etc. easily when needed. For parking, I suggest using the paid parking lot on "Ul. Petra Svačića 18". It is a 6-minute walk to the apartment on flat, paved sidewalk. This is a big parking lot with more spaces available unlike some other parking lots we tried. For the two days there we were able to find a parking space without any problem. The price is fair, about 20 euro /day. Overall, I highly recommend this apartment.
- Julie (8/5): Centrally located - Excellent location just minutes from the old town.
Lovely duplex room with two floors and a small balcony. Excellent shower and very comfy bed. Small fridge and kettle was greatly appreciated
Only negative was the two flight of stairs to access the room
- Mariana (10/5): Excellent stay - We booked this apartment last minute for a one night stay in Split. To our surprise it was huge, 2 floors with two bathrooms and a little balcony. Ivna was very responsive to our emails and even when we were late checking in she sent her employee to help us.
- Tanya (10/5): - Great location, clean, comfortable and feels very safe. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
- Kaylie (10/5): - My boyfriend and I loved our stay. The room was centrally located and it was very comfortable. We would totally stay here again!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We had an excellent stay at Nirvana. The room was very well equipped, bed comfortable, shower excellent, nice to have the teas and coffees and kettle, and the option of fresh towels. The room we stayed in had a large balcony which we were lucky enough to be able to sit out on - would be fantastic to have that in the summer. The location is fantastic, just beyond the Diocletian's Palace walls, and within 10 mins walk of most attractions / sites. Communication from Vana was ace throughout and her advice when we arrived was very useful. The pastries and sweets in the reception area were a nice touch. We would definitely stay again. Only note would be that the stairs mean it might not be suitable for those with limited mobility - we were happy with the exercise!
- Wanderer (8/5): - The main apartment building looks old and not in best of shape but inside the rooms unit and my room is vey jice and clean. The location is safe and nice to walk to all shops and restaurants. Vana is very nice amd and helpful.
- Stephen (8/5): - Great
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Right beside the old wall. Very helpful and friendly staff. Spotless clean
- J C (8/5): A pleasant first visit to Split, Croatia - Vana the agent who greets and handles the guests communicated very well with us via email and WhatsApp and met us promptly when we arrived and even helped us to carry our heavy luggage. We had rented a car and drove from Zagreb stopping along the way to take in the sights. The location of the hotel was within a few minutes walking distance to the town of Split and the waterfront promenade, Game of Thrones museum, cathedral and Fortress as well as several restaurants and shops. We did a sunset cruise on a small pirate ship, walked the town and Fortress as well as enjoyed several seafood restaurant and live music on the promenade. Having a car allowed us to do some of the tours offered by several companies within a shorter timeframe and at our own pace while saving us a large sum of money.
- Heather (10/5): Nirvana Luxury Rooms - We had a lovely couple of days in Split. The accommodation was beautiful and the location was fantastic. If we come back to Split we would definitely stay there again.
- LS (10/5): - Perfect location for visiting the Old Town area. 5 minutes walk to the Golden Gate.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We had a great stay with Nirvana! The rooms are located within easy walking distance of split town centre and our room was very spacious and clean.
Only improvement would be to have more signs. When we arrived we didn’t realise that we had to walk up three flights of stairs in order to reach the rooms.
- Vicki L (10/5): Love it. - Beautiful and clean. Perfect location.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We loved the property. It was in an amazing location. The room was very nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. The owner was incredibly responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend Hotel Nirvana. 10/10.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Overall a really lovely property with a great host. Check in was quick, easy and simple and the host suggested some great places to visit during our short stay. Property was also clean and spacious. Location was also in a great place. It was just the stairs up to our apartment that killed us and was unexpected! (3 flights of stairs but we had the carry our heavy luggage up!). Maybe there was a lift, but we didn’t see it!
- Angela (10/5): Excelente experience - The rooms were very beautiful and cousi, I really recommended!
- Sat (10/5): - Excellent and well maintained apartment for our 3 night stay, family of 4. Location was great and walked numerous times a day to Riva Promenade for meals.
Checkin process was quick and communication and directions were great. Would highly recommend for short stays!
- John (10/5): Great service and even a rescue - This experience was excellent. Vana and her partner made checkin effortless with fantastic communication ahead of time with great follow through. Then she center partner to rescue me when I locked myself out of the parking lot like a dork. Above and beyond! Plus the room itself was terrific with new remodeling, great shower comfortable bed great air-conditioning and very close to the old town. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was great to come back to a clean air conditioned room after a hot day out. And to chill out in the evening on the balcony with some wine.
- Salma (10/5): - The property is in a really good location. Everything is close by and within walking distance.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Amazing location walking distance to everything, 2 min walk to the palace
- Scott (10/5): Enjoyed ourselves here, nice room. - Nirvana has a convenient location just outside the old city walls and is about a 15 minute walk from the bus and ferry stations. Room was clean and comfortable with an awesome patio for relaxing and drying clothes. We stayed in the green room. Note that the rooms are three floors up, which made for a good view inland and quiet evenings. Not as much to do in Split as we thought, but it’s a good hub to see other things. We highly recommend a day trip to Bol. Only negative thing was really spotty WiFi.
- Kirsty (10/5): - The location is fantastic, within walking distance to everywhere. The owner kept great communication throughout the booking experience and was very helpful by arranging a taxi to collect us from the airport and take us back to the airport upon leaving. Room was clean tidy and freshly decorated and had everything we needed. Would stay here again and recommend to others. Lovely touch leaving us a gift before we left too of local lavender.
- Anne Hastrup (10/5): - Great stay - and a balcony in Split is worth the money :)
- Amy (10/5): Great hotel - it was really good and walking distance to the tourist attractions. It's an apartment but they made into like a hotel where there is someone to makeup the room everyday.
- Mellisa (10/5): Quiet and Comfy in Croatia - A very nice set of private suites within an old building.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Fantastic stay. Met on arrival very promptly. Room was fresh and airy and super clean. Highly recommend this property xxx
- Michael (10/5): Really good place to stay in the old town. - Really nice apartments in a great location, literally 100m from the palace area. Really nice and clean, perfect for the few nights we were there. Be mindful it is on about the 3rd or 4th floor on a block so quite a few steps. No problem for young people. Varna who met us was really helpful and pleasant.
- Pasi (10/5): - Great experience! Room was very nice, close to old town but still not too noisy neighbourhood. Hostess Vana was very helpful and welcoming, she even prepared welcoming gift for us!! This was our first trip to Croatia, but I´m sure it wasn´t last.
- Julie (10/5): - Great location only minutes walk to the Diocletian Palace and old town. The apartment is really modern and comfortable with an awesome bathroom. Vana was there to meet us on arrival, showed us the features of the apartment, and pointed out things to do in Split.
- Chris (10/5): Great Night in Slip - Thanks Nirvana Luxury Rooms! - Vana was a fantastic Host! This is a great location for Slip and would recommend to all. Please note the rooms are on the 4th floor so if you have access issues / lots of luggage please note there is no elevator. Otherwise a great value for cost; we will return.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Loved the luxury rooms, nice, clean, modern. Perfect location, only 3 mins to the old city. . Vana was very helpful.
- Jørgen Lund (8/5): Nice hotel very close to Old Town Split - Very nice hotel located in the center - easy to reach with taxi - very nice and pleasant welcome and very flexible about check-in and check-out times - nice big rooms with no noise from the street/town - am sure we will stay there next time in Split!!
- darsha (6/5): Be aware of what you want from your accommodation - Have just had mixed feelings about this hotel. The pros are the location. It’s so close to the Diocletian palace and all the amenities. Our room (beige in colour) was clean and comfortable and finally Vana appeared to be friendly and helpful.
The cons were that the room we booked based on the photos and descriptions (delux double with city view) was not what we got. Our room had no particular view and it’s called a guest room on the website. We disputed this with Vana but left the matter as she was convinced that no error was made when it clearly was. We found Vana to be friendly and charming but this left us wondering if she had any authority to discuss our issues.
Next the rooms are located on a third floor of a tenement block. The rest of the building is lived on by locals. There is therefore no reception desk and no one is available unless you call Vana by phone. There are no lifts so be prepared! The place has no kerb appeal; outside is like a shoddy yard with cars belonging to residents etc. It’s quite filthy with cigarette butts, beer cans etc. In the dark it can be quite forbidding as the communal areas are not lit so you will need to know where the light switches are.
Overall we had a lovely stay and would recommend the rooms merely for the location only.
- Ja$e (10/5): Lovely apartment near Centre of Split - We were met at the apartment and given advice on places around and nearby.
Was a lovely apartment, not huge but enough room.
Very close to attractions and Centre. Would stay there again.
- Janette (10/5): - Friendly and very helpful host! Room was better than we expected!
- Kevin (10/5): - Very nice apartment within a short walk of Split old town and waterfront. Numerous restuarants, shops and activities all in close proximity. Owners very friendly and helpful in getting us settled in for our stay. Thank you.
- Traci (10/5): - Location is perfect! The apartment is clean and Vana is very helpful. Enjoyed our stay
- Elizabeth (10/5): Spacious clean central location - In the city centre. Clean and helpful manger close to beach
- Greg (8/5): Large apartment close to key attractions in Split - Good size apartment that was clean and arrangements made for us to check in. The only negatives were the air conditioning upstairs didn’t work well which meant it was very hot up there and there is no elevator
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The room was large, newly renovated, super clean and well decorated! The bed was extra comfortable and the air conditioning was much appreciated with the hest and humidity. We loved the fact that the room was so close to the historic sights of the old town (a 5 minutes walk) yet very quiet and peaceful at night. Vana our Host was friendly and helpful. Our room was on the 3rd floor (no elevator) but her Associate graciously carried up our heavy bags. All in all, we loved our visit to Split and our stay at the Nirvana!
- Heather (10/5): Great accommodation and location - Apartment located a short walk, less than 5 minutes from the old town. The outside of the the building and the internal stairway are nothing to be impressed with; the accommodation is on the 3rd floor of the building, but from the inside of lobby on the 3rd floor to the individual rooms it was impressive. Large spacious room with modern bathroom. Great wifi, tea/coffee provided and a fridge. Balcony shared by flat 302 & 303 lovely to sit out in the sun. Very comfortable 6ft bed. Great customer service, the rep met us at the property at our arrival time which was late as we got a catamaran from Dubrovnik to Split and arrived at about 9:15pm
- Richard (10/5): First time visit - Outside area was somewhat questionable in the minds of each us. Once inside the property our minds quickly changed. Our family of four were very pleased with the accommodation. Location was great.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent location across the road from old town. Very clean, spacious and staff is very helpful.
- Kerrian (10/5): Close to everything - Nice and clean and close to everything. Even though not on google maps still not hard to find.
- Colleen (10/5): - Host met us when we got there. Explained the area, gave recommendations for eating. Very helpful. Just outside the palace so it is convenient yet very quiet. Highly recommend.
- Richard (10/5): - Great location, very central. Vana is a deligh and just so helpful. Definitely recommend.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel close to restaurants and town! - This was a great hotel for a family within easy walking distance of all the good restaurants and main strip in town. Would stay here again.
- john (10/5): 60 steps to excellence - This was an excellent apartment with superb staff great location excellent internet connection and no elevator.
- Amber (10/5): Absolutely Fantastic - Our flight arrived 4 hours before usual check in, however this wasn't a problem as Vana and her team had our room (purple room) all ready.
The room is beautifully presented with the added bonus of a balcony overlooking the old town.
Vana was there to give us a warm welcome and even helped carry our bags. She gave an introduction to the town, where to go and what to do.
It is ideally situated for the old town and promenade (a few minutes walk to each). Both bus stations a 10 minute walk and the sandy beach approx 20 minutes.
Room made up everyday with fresh towels. The maid also friendly and helpful.
The room is spacious and the large king size bed very comfortable. The bathroom is big with a large walk in shower. There is a fridge as well as a very good selection of tea and coffee making facilities.
A nice touch of a welcome gift on arrival and a bottle of wine towards the end of our stay, wishing us a safe journey and thanking us for our custom.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Split and be happy to return.
- Zadoo (8/5): I can stay there again - The room was big, comfortable, very clean and tastefully decorated. It is seconds away from the city center and local eats. It is difficult to find parking and the spot allocated to the hotel is quite a distance from the room. You can park in front of the building if you get a spot. There is no reception , So you have to keep coordinating with the hotel if you don’t arrive within a specified time. Vana was great though and I thank her. One very irritating aspect is checkout is early, but you can’t leave your bags and go exploring because there’s nowhere to leave them!
- louise (10/5): Great gem steps from the old town - We loved staying here. Just steps from the old town the location was great. A nice large modern room, great bathroom and with a balcony on which we could watch the sun set. Would definitely stay again. The only thing we could fault was the mattress which was too soft for our liking.
- Andy (8/5): Nice room just outside the Palace area - Although the building does not look much from outside, the room we had was very good. One thing to be aware of is that the rooms accessed by three flights of stairs.
- Roshni (10/5): 4 nights in Split - The most amazing apartment! Everything you need is provided for you, towels, toiletries etc. Daily housekeeping so the apartment is always kept clean! Vana was lovely and made our arrival very easy and was also willing to sort out tickets to different attractions for us! Definitely would recommend staying in this spacious apartment.
- Verified traveler (10/5): A place to stay when visiting Split - We wanted a convenient place for a short term visit and at reasonable cost and this it proved to be. Extremely clean, comfortable, and well appointed.
- Lance (10/5): Hotel Location - The apartment had a great location right by the place and sea front. The hostess was great and very flexible. Her restaurant suggestions were very good. Would definitely stay there again.
- Jo (10/5): Great hotel apartment - Very clean and well kept, staff are great, good central location, quiet and very comfortable!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Lovely rooms close to centre - We stayed at Nirvana with our two children, the rooms were great, well appointed and with great facilities. Vana was very helpfu, arranging car to and from airport and even advising on medical emergency for my son.
We'd definitely recommend these rooms to others, only slight downside is 3 storey climb to rooms which was fine for us but might be harder for older visitors.
- Sharm (10/5): Nice hotel - very close to Diocletian's Palace - Room was clean and well maintained. The children enjoyed having a separate floor and bathroom to themselves.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great room in a perfect location - We loved our room (305) at Nirvana. We were traveling with our teenage daughter so having separate space was a plus. The wifi also worked great, helping to keep the teenager happy! Vana was extremely helpful as well and I very much appreciated her assistance with check in. This place is also just a block away from Diocletian's palace and just a few blocks to the waterfront. I would definitely stay here again.
- Verified traveler (2/5): DONT DO IT - I feel like this place held me upside down and shook the money out of my pockets. We had received no directions to this place in Split prior to arrival. We arrived on a ferry boat and Tourist Information at the dock couldnt tell us where it was. When our contact for SunCE finally texted back, her directions were terrible. We were dragging all our bags and had to stop and ask directions 3 times. When we finally did arrive, our contact essentially accused us of being stupid and was upset that we were late meeting her. THIS IS NOT A HOTEL BUT A REMODELLED ROOM IN AN OLD APARTMENT BUILDING. The entrance was dark and concealed behind a conveniece store. We never felt safe, especially at night, because the entrance and 3 flights up to the room were dark and dirty. We walked around the building and couldn't match up the photo the beautiful white balconey view they show on Expedia with the dirty apartment building we actually stayed in. I cant believe their Expedia ratings are so high for this place. DON'T GO HERE.
- Tim (10/5): Great room - Amazing stay. Great location, excellent host and fantastic room and bathroom.
- Elena (10/5): Amazing Apartment - My partner and I loved staying at Nirvana Luxury Suites. Vana was so helpful and accomodating, she was more than happy to meet us to collect our bags at a later time as we had a ferry in the afternoon. The apartment is beautiful, spacious and clean and would highly reccomend staying here. It's a close walk from the old town and port and has many restaurants and shops surrounding it.
- Alexander (10/5): Nirvana in split - Stay was great very clean , location was great. Only downfall it's on the 3rd floor and no elevators , but it was doable will definitely stay there again and would recommend it
- Jennifer (10/5): Absolutely recommend Nirvana Luxury Rooms - The hostess Vana was fantastic. She organized an airport transfer and booked a day trip for me that I wanted to take. She also provided information on Split and recommendations for dinner which worked out well. The room was clean, modern and had everything I needed. The location was excellent!
I would absolutely recommend a stay at Nirvana Luxury Rooms.
- Lisa (6/5): Great Location...steps from the palace! - Mixed reviews...the location was great, easy walk to the palace and harbor, host was awesome, huge bathroom, and very modern and clean. The negative was that our unit had a loft that was very warm even with the air conditioning, it was hard to navigate due to narrow staircase and low ceilings, also difficult to get to as no elevator was present so we had to carry our bags up the 3 floors, plus the entrance to the building was very run down with dark stairwells.
- Patrick (10/5): WOW!!! Fantastic!! GREAT DEAL!!!!! - Wonderful room, great management. I would stay here every time. The room is centrally located and EXTREMELY close to the city walls, shopping, tours and bus line. Could not be easier or better!
- Jennifer (10/5): Super comfy beds and lovely apartment - The Nirvana Luxury Rooms were the perfect base for discovering the Diocletian Palace. It's about 10 minutes' walk from the ferry port and bus station and just a couple of minutes away from the old town. We'd highly recommend them. The apartment was really clean, felt new and fresh and the bed was really comfortable. Would give it more than 5 stars if I could!
- sharron (10/5): Lovely apartment in great location - Great location. Brilliant Clean apartment. Lots of clean soft towels. Beautiful bathroom. Saw some lovely sunsets from the balcony
- Graeme (10/5): Great Accommodation and Location - The room was as described, it was in very good condition and very clean. We organised through the owner, Nirvana, to be picked up at the airport. This was a good decision as it would not be easy to find otherwise. It is also on the 3rd floor, which was fine for us. I would definitely use it again if I returned to Split.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice updated room close to Old Town and the marina - Vana went out of her way to assist us when our gps didn't work. Made sure we knew our way around, had cold water and a welcome gift for us. Everything was provided for or needs.
- Pete (10/5): Excellent location, excellent room - We arrived quite late at night but got a friendly welcome from the host who was waiting for us. The room was brilliant for the money and the location couldn't be better. Would definitely stay here again if we go back to Split
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great location, very clean and comfortable! - Staff was very helpful with communication, check in and parking.
- Stefan (8/5): Lovely room - fantastic location. - We had a fantastic time in Split and we got to see lots of the city because of the great location of the room. Only a few mins walk into the narrow streets of Split which are packed with beautiful restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. It is also very close to the promenade and port so easy access for a day trip to Hvar. I would definitely recommend staying here, the rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated, it's perfect if you want to be central! Vana was also lovely and made us feel very welcome, we hope to be back one day.
