Lailla (8/5): - The room was large and it was convenient to park just outside. The chairs just out the door were also nice. The hotel didn’t have many guests though, so it seemed rather odd that with only a couple of noticeably occupied rooms, they would be assigned next door to one another and the two rooms closest to the highway. The neighbors were late arrivals and got up very early making a lot of noise rushing to get out. Needless to say, it wasn’t a restful night.
Nancy (10/5): - I've stayed here before and returned twice recently because it's very reasonably priced, very clean and has amenities to make you more comfortable that other places I've stayed don't necessarily have. The Maple Leaf was a great find for me since I've stayed at a few other places in Schroon Lake which were OK, but this is my favorite spot to stay.

Marta (8/5): Adirondack - Sweet room in the Adirondacks Spacious room, comfortable bed, fridge, microwave, toaster. Very clean. We enjoyed our stay.
Stephen (8/5): - For a motel, the Maple Leaf is pretty nice. The building is a little dated (how many new motels are out there) but the room was very clean and spacious. Parking was convenient. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was very nice. The room had a kitchenette and the hotel provided you with snacks, bottled water, and a keurig machine with pods. All at a reasonable price. My only complaint was with the check-in. There was no one in the office and you were supposed to get a text message with the check in information which I never got. As a result I had to make a series of phone calls and jump through some hoops to check in. My feeling was that this was an anomaly though. I would strongly consider staying here again the next time I’m in Schroon Lake.

Stephen (8/5): Will definitely stay in this charming motel again! - This place was really cute and absolutely met our needs! The only problem was that our code to check in stopped working, and after calling the person who reached out to us with check-in instructions, the problem was efficiently resolved. The room itself was really lovely, the amenities and snacks were very much appreciated, the beds were super comfortable, and the air conditioning was very efficient. The location was perfect - quiet and convenient! The only opportunities we saw were in the shower. It was clean with plenty of hot water and great water pressure, but It could stand to be repainted, and the inner shower curtain looked as though it needed to be replaced - but other than that, this was an incredibly charming place to stay in Schroon Lake! We will definitely stay here again!

Henry (10/5): - Nice comfortable motel. It's cozy and reasonably priced. It's quiet and the property is well kept. Parking with a boat is easy and there is power to charge the boat. I've stayed here several times and will stay again.

Rue (4/5): Never again - While the room smelled clean and looked clean it had a musty smell which was compounded by the stale air conditioner Oder. The AC was very loud and old. The toilet seat was loose enough to fall off, the towel rack in the bathroom did actually fall off. Reservations for two nights only stayed one left before 11am and was offered no refund. Never again.
Evelyn (10/5): Welcoming Surprise. - My husband and I reserved M2 in the main house. It was spacious, clean, quiet and overall welcoming. This was a pleasant surprise and the price was great. If we are in the area, we will stay again. Thank you.

Thick dust on lamps and lamp shades but bedside tables and dressers tops were clean. Spiders and spider webs on door windows and ceiling. Throw rugs need vacuuming. Air conditioner filter needed to be changed so the air conditioner cycled on and off all night. Refrigerator microwave and toaster oven had bits of food left in them.

Richard (6/5): Room rented out twice - We received information on our room before we arrived. we had the room no, and the cobination on the door to enter. After many reservation, I never had this much information on our room before arriveing. There is no check in needed. A rexr was sent out notifying us our room was changed which we did not receive. Once there , we used the pass code we received to enter the room worked. once we got comfortab[e, laying on the bed, the door opened unexpectedly. The room was rented to another couple who also had a different pass code. Both us and the people who entered were very surprised. The manager called to apologize because our door had both pass code entered by accident. Hopefully manager will call the customers directly to explain the changes which was not listed on Hotel.com. Nadine (8/5): - Comfortable stay. We just had a very quick overnight stay here so we didn’t get to experience all the amenities and surroundings. Very smooth check in and check out. Room was comfortable and they even had water and snacks set out. Didn’t get to meet the management but they obviously are very friendly. If I had to point out a negative I guess it would be that toilet in our room had an unsightly water stain in the bowl. However that was not a big deal. I don’t think it’s anything that is a result of poor cleaning. We would stay here again if in the area. The price was great.

Karen (8/5): - I only spent time in my room just to sleep. It was very clean and had snacks and water bottles, of which I partook. There were supplies for coffee and oatmeal which I did not use. I did not use any facilities and I did not interact with any staff, so I cannot rate them. On the whole, the place was very clean, check in was extraordinarily easy, and parking was simple. I guess that the only problem I found was that, when I was in bed, something, maybe the sheets, maybe the pillow, smelled a bit, not strongly, but a bit like cigarettes. Not sure where it came from and it certainly was not strongly offensive, but it was there.
Jane (10/5): - This motel is so cute, beautifully maintained. It's quiet with room to walk the dog. Check in is easy, no waiting, go straight to your room and enter your code, you're in! Parking right on front of your room. I love this place❤️

Deck off my room was in dire need of repair and would not recommend using it. No electric kettle was in kitchen as listing had indicated and no cutlery.
James (8/5): recent stay - The stay, for the most part was comfortable. As previously mentioned, we could have used a second chair. Housekeeping did not leave any coffee for the second day and the coffee cups were not cleaned. I know budgets are tight but it would have nice to have had plastic cups, tissues and paper towels incase of spills

Suzanne (8/5): Not a great experience checking in - I was confused about checking in. I was not aware that I would be getting a text with a code. When I arrived and the office was closed I called the phone number on the door. Whoever answered was rather rude because I didn’t understand the process I looked at my text and did get into my room but I didn’t appreciate being made to feel stupid. The room was nice but it was not stocked like I think it was meant to be. Beautiful area

This was unexpected and great for early hiking mornings. Plus it was quiet but still close to many hikes. Will definitely be back!
