- stephfont2025 (2/5): It had roaches, the air smelled like mildew , the rooms are false advertisements from what they show in pictures . - The hotel had roaches on the floor and crawling out of the refrigerator, upon going into the lobby to request a different room or any sort of compensation, the worker was stalling for the manager to get to the hotel which took about 45 minutes, when the manager gets here he says it is no other rooms and if I was to leave I wouldn’t get my refund because there are no refunds after 25 minutes the air smelled like mildew , the rooms are false advertisements from what they show in pictures , floor is rusted and dirty, bed sheets are rusted and dirty, inside of shower has multiple brown stains. Never go here it is the worst . I want a resolution to this or the motel taken down.
- 170ebonyc (2/5): - Too many roaches. Roaches crawling everywhere including on my seven year old daughter while she slept. I was only in the room for a few hours. Turn my key in and left. Have not received my deposit. It’s been over 2 weeks. I have videos as well.
- 88shanettaj (4/5): Bad experience - The room hasn't been deeply clean. You can sméll the dust and stitch in the rooms especially behind the beds. People are constantly smoking marijuana outside and inside the hotel even though it's no smoking allowed. I have seen multiple drug dealers come and go. I believe I was overcharged plus had to pay a deposit because I have children to stay for 28 days even though I gave a months worth of went. I supply my own soap and tissue for our stay. It wouldn't be so bad if you didn't have the druggies and dealers along with over charging single mothers.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The room was very basic. No tissues in the room. There is no place to hang your clothes. No closet, etc. The toilet bowl was not well cemented.
- Christine (10/5): Would use this hotel again - This hotel was awesome friendly customer service clean rooms great area food was accessible just overall great experience
- Verified traveler (2/5): Not good... - Very outdated & dirty; used furniture & broken toilet glued back together!
- Norman (4/5): Rotten tomatoes - Not good at all
- joycen873 (2/5): Idiots/Crackheads Running the Place - Booked a room via Priceline for my wheelchair bound mother. Being unaware they do not have 2018 technology such as an automated payment system or even a website, I could not pay online. Instead of them articulating that to me or my mother, they put her in a room before they received ANY COMPENSATION. While I'm communicating over the phone to one dummy at the front desk to establish my mother's stay, the other dummy is bamming on my her room door (keep in mind, they're the ones that put her there initially) threatening to call the police. After I sent money to my mother, the goofballs had already kicked her out of the room! This place is in dire need for smarter management; and not silly weirdos that are simply incompetent, cannot conduct business, or problem solve accordingly. Do yourself a favor, avoid these idiots!!!!!
- USA_Number_1 (2/5): Not a clean place at all, very nasty and dirty, housekeeping terrible - Place smells of cigarette smoke 24/7. Saw a few women of the night hanging around the hotel. Place is dirty, the so called comforter smell like sex and bad feet. Nice location near expressway but unless you are really dead tired, stay away.
- Sean (8/5): Quiet area - New owners we're very nice. Kinda loud. But nice
- elijah (8/5): - It was really nice! The shower looked a bit sketch, but besides that it was really nice. Definitely was surprised by how the price was so low!
- Verified traveler (6/5): No 5 star - Far cry from 5 star. Very basic room; bed, sink, shower. Not the cleanest room, towels were small and thin. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner. The only redeeming part was the staff. They were friendly. You get what you pay for, in this case not much.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Just to say terrible.
Terrible. Terrible. Terrible....
- Lindsay (4/5): Do yourself a favor and spend a few more dollars - I've stayed in much nicer hotels for less money. The man at the front desk was nice enough. He didn't have my reservations so I had to jump hoops to show him I had a reservation and had paid. He magically found my reservation after I checked my bank acct and showed him my confirmation. Made me nervous like he was recording my log in or something. The room was not clean. No trash cans in room. The sheets and pillows were paper thin with no mattress protector. Box tv with poor resolution. Walls were chipping and carpet was dirty. No microwave, fridge or coffee. There was one microwave in the lobby. I appreciate a place to lay my head at night but I would not have stayed here if I'd known. There was also a $20 room and key deposit. I'm still waiting for that to be refunded.
- amandasU892QO (2/5): Run away - Very Nasty, very dirty, mostly dead bugs! Do not stay here! Not much more to say, ya know. I totally left! I guess stay only in dyer need lol! They charge $50 flat but I'd rather pay double and actually stay the night.
- Ecogoat (4/5): TOO SMOKY!! - I stayed in this hotel - correction, TRIED to stay in this hotel - one night because it allows pets.... it was SO SMOKY I could not stay! after 1/2 hour I left, showered at a TA, and slept in the truck. No refund was provided because "I didn't notify them within 15 minutes of arrival" of the condition. I tried to stick it out. I arrived after 1 am and I figured I could, but I was wrong. If you are a non-smoker, go to a Knight's Inn instead!
The room was clean enough otherwise - the sheets and covers seemed OK and the towels looked fine. The bedside table was broken. The bedside light had no place to plug in so didn't work. The room was pretty dark as a result.
The parking is good - you can pull around with a fairly long rig.
- Ecogoat (4/5): Non-smokers BEWARE! - I stayed in this hotel - correction, TRIED to stay in this hotel - one night because I was bringing pets.... it was SO SMOKY I could not stay! I finally left, showered at a TA, and slept in the truck. No refund was provided because "I didn't notify them within 15 minutes of arrival" of the condition. I tried to stick it out. It was after 1 am and I figured I could, but I was wrong. If you are a non-smoker, go to a Knight's Inn instead!

- ErnestRMcLain (10/5): I liked it! - Everyone we dealt with was pleasant to talk to. Staff didn't answer with one word answers, they actually engaged which is a breath of fresh air to me. Everything was very clean and tidy from the room to the lobby.
- Verified traveler (2/5): I enjoyed every moment . - Bad experience. The room smelled super strongly of stale cigarette smoke and sweaty sheets
- 226gabriele (2/5): The worst ever! - Do you have any idea how dirty a floor has to be to make your feet black in a matter of hours. The rooms smell like they haven't been clean since the 1960's, and there were so many crackheads and people with ankle monitors I barely slept cause I didnt want my car jacked. It makes no sense hoe people could care so little for their business.
- Yasmine46409 (2/5): Be warned - Horrible from every aspect of being a decent human being. There were no towels. There was no soap. The carpet was wet and nasty. They overcharge for such a horrible place.Worst place ever. Wouldn't suggest to anyone.
- Laney (2/5): nightmare - i arrived and found that my room had a dirty bathroom floor and the carpet needed vacuuming. I had to get my own towels and sheets. I will not stay in hotel again. and I am going to tell all my friends about my experience in this hotel.
- Robynne16 (2/5): Disgusting & They Overcharged Us - My boyfriend and I stayed here. Our visit at this hotel began with the person at the front desk basically stealing $20 from my boyfriend. My boyfriend accidentally gave him $20 too much and the person at the desk refused to give him the additional $20 back saying my boyfriend had only given him $60. We asked for a non-smoking room because my boyfriend and I both have very bad asthma and we were given a non-smoking room but the room smelled terribly of cigarettes and both chairs in the room had cigarette burns on them. In the bathroom there were three rolls of tissue: one empty roll, one almost empty roll and one roll sitting on the lid of the toilet that had been used as well. Nothing about this room was sanitary whatsoever. The floors were extremely dirty, nothing looked like it had been sweeped or mopped or vacuumed, there was only one tiny bar of soap and the air conditioner looked ancient. They very obviously do not care about getting repeat customers because there was garbage thrown all over the parking lot. Right in our parking space, for example, there were three Little Caesar's pizza boxes just thrown there while there was a dumpster and a trash can not that far away from the parking space. I would definitely recommend you go ANYWHERE but here. Prison would be a better accommodation than this hell hole. We ended up leaving after only being there for an hour because we knew neither one of us was going to be comfortable enough to actually go to sleep.
- samantha (2/5): Didn't stay, air didn't work. Nonsmoking room was - Air didn't work.. Nonsmoking room smelled like stale smoke. Dirty. I wouldn't let my worst enemy stay there
- EmFejes (2/5): Do not stay here - Booked as a handy overnight location between Chicago O'Hare Airport and Evansville, Indiana after a transatlantic flight. I wasn't expecting anything fancy, I would have settled for clean but it was filthy and the room stank. The bathroom was disgusting and there were cigarette butts in the shower. Avoid at all costs, disgusting place.
- parthibanl2015 (10/5): Reasonable - i was tired after travelling a long time in car was looking for a cheaper motel found keywest online. the location is excellent got all kind of restaurants around us.Rooms are decent we cant expect much for $45.value for money
- Verified traveler (6/5): Decent hotel for a good price - Bare bones, no frige or microwave but a great price for one night. Sheets were clean. The area seemed a bit sketchy at night but there wasn't anything specific that bothered us. Overall a good value and is probably stay the again.
- donnaajayi (2/5): if ur a rat it will suit you - we got there and they tried to charge us 10$ above what we booked it for so after an hour of arguing they gave us this room no telephone no table no microwave or fridge which all was promised in the spec the bed was a twin and it was disgustng so we demanded our money back but he refused to reimburse us,again after arguing for an hour he found us another one not much better but it at least had a table and a phone in the room to be honest ive never stayed in a room that bad in my life and ive been to some third world countries nothing as bad as the key west inn
- Dale (2/5): Trucker hotel. Smoke smell. - When booking this motel, I didn't expect to stay at the Pilazzo Or even the Holiday Inn.. I knew it would be a low end hotel.
It ended up being a whole lot worse than that. The room smelled super strongly of stale cigarette smoke and sweaty sheets.
The one highlight of the stay was that it was a good value and the guy at the front desk was very nice and accommodating.
- Mike (10/5): It was peaceful - I enjoyed every moment . The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.
- goodgyrl (2/5): Bad stay
- Bad experience. We stayed overnight and I ended up with bedbug bites. I would not recommend a stay here.
- Go_GreenBay (2/5): Avoid at any means - Drive further if you need to. This was totally disgusting. Even my husband said it was a mistake to stay here. The carpet was scary dirty. Husband put sandals on and I laid down a towel on floor because after a shower I didn't want to get my feet all dirty again. In one area it looked like they removed a table but neglected to vacuum dust from 20 years of accumulating.
We must have been over tired to stay here. When I first went in the room, the smoke alarm was beeping (low battery?) The attendant came and replaced the battery but it still beeped. He then offered to just disconnect it so there would be no smoke alarm. Why we did not turn and run and save ourselves at this point I do not know!
- ddbii (4/5): Very spartan but... - If you are used to staying in Hiltons or Hyatts then this is probably not the place for you. However if your a guy who needs a place to lay up for the evening cheaply then this will fill the bill. Rooms are a little beat up but mine was clean in spite of being rough around the edges.
The location isn't bad but is a little industrial being located next to the expressway. The folks that checked me in we're friendly and it ran me 45 dollars for the night.
- Amanda2489 (2/5): Stay away!! - My room is gross!! Carpet is DISGUSTING and the room smells like mold and stale cigarette smoke. I had some black woman knocking on my door twice because she claims she forgot what room she was in. The tv is HORRIBLE! My bed is broken in the center. No face rags or tissue! Tiny bar of soap (will post pics). They charged me $45 for one night. I wouldn't be happy paying $15 for this DUMP!!!
- BKB02 (4/5): Absolute bare bones hotel - We just needed to crash for a few hours while traveling before starting again in the morning, so decided to take this cheap option. Expect the absolute minimum of anything. The pillows are small and cheap, no facial tissues in the room, no hand towels. Two small bars of soap, plastic cups, towels, that's about it. The bed is okay, didn't notice any bed bugs like another person, but we were on the second floor. You can hear noise from the parking lot, but not the other rooms, so that was good. It does have free wifi and HBO, though the TV looked like it was from the '80s.
We had the most reservations about the place checking in. You have to stand in this little cubicle if it's after dark, and the clerk really didn't seem to be interested in helping us. We disturbed her phone call. The list of rules is posted next to the window. Things like "if you check in before 7AM, your checkout will be 11AM the same day". Ice is NOT free, and if the lobby is closed, you can't use the microwave or vending machines.
It's okay if you're really strapped, but next time we'll go down the road and spend a little more.
- pjc87guy (2/5): Bed Bugs - Room 106 of this motel has bed bugs. I stayed there four days and noticed the bites the day after I left. The lower cost is clearly not worth the consequences.
- BellaPsMom (2/5): HORRIBLE LIARS!! - I called to reserve a room for my husband & helper while he was in town working & the RUDE lady who answered said they don't take reservations. I then offered to flat out pay in advance for the room with a credit card, but she notified me they can't do that either. She did tell me she would hold the room until 6:00 p.m. for my husband & just took his name. He gets there at 5:45 & she had RENTED HIS ROOM!!! He reminded her it wasn't even near 6:00 & her reply was, "I have to do what my manager tells me." NO ROOMS, NO APOLOGIES!! So my husband, who left the job site just to check in & pay for the room, had to drive around a town he's not familiar with to find something else. He did find a very nice Lees Inn, but ended up paying over DOUBLE what he had planned. These rude people lie & clearly have no customer service skills.
