Having been to Ogunquit many times, I knew this was the location I desired - among the best in town, within a 10-minute walk of the Ogunquit Beach, the Marginal Way, all the delicious restaurants, great stores, (and ice cream shops!) in town. Rick is as personable as he is knowledgeable. His scones are delish! Recommended guidelines for the pandemic are followed. Would seek Moon Over Maine for our next visit - awesome for couples!

Private access to the rooms from the back deck that leads to the hot tub and parking areas. Seating outside on deck and ground levels. Conveniently located in the heart of Ogunquit and can be dining, having cocktails, or exploring the shops by foot in minutes. The beach is approximately 7-10 minute walk. I recommend Moon Over Main to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend on the southern Maine coast. It also had one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been to.

- cait (10/5): Most Acommodating Staff!!! - My boyfriend and I were looking for a place to stay last-minute after hiking Katahdin. Within moments of booking Moon Over Maine, Rick texted me and asked when we might arrive. It would be a late arrival and I hadn’t realized I booked a bed and breakfast. Rick stayed up to let us in, was entirely charismatic and personable and SO accommodating. The room was clean, comfortable, and air conditioned. The space is a perfect balance of privacy with options to socialize with other guests in a shared living room and breakfast area. Rick’s homemade scones are ADDICTIVE!! We ate 6 of them between my partner and I! They were delicious. Towels are offered for the beach, there is coffee always available, and the homemade breakfast had a range of healthy and indulgent options. The location of the B&B is right in the center of ogunquit, just across from the road leading to the beach! We will certainly stay here again—such a great find!

- Cathy (10/5): Fabulous everything and even EV friendly - I've been to Ogunquit four times and I've stayed in four different hotels. I like to try out different scenes, but this place might be so good that I'd have to stay here from now on. The location is perfect. It is one of the closest to the area's fabulous shops and restaurants, but being located one property off of the main road somehow makes it quiet. The beach is a very easy 5 minute walk. I am a woman in my late-30s who traveled alone and I always felt safe. The inn itself is beautiful, and the keepers gracious, warm, and welcoming. I have an electric car and the owners went above and beyond to allow me to charge it onsite. It certainly wasn't expected, but it was very much appreciated. They also offered insight and recommendations for dinner and entertainment that were tailored to me traveling solo. The room was comfortable and clean. It is an older home with wee creeks, but that is completely outdone by its sense of modern charm. Worth noting: the balcony rooms are listed as semi-private but at least in my experience they were not. I was startled in the morning to find a couple sitting and loudly talking at the little table set right outside the window of the balcony room I'd selected and paid a bit extra for, not five steps from my bed. I had thought it was associated with the balcony room which has a direct access to it. I don't list this as a complaint, but future travelers may wish to know this in making their room selections. I will certainly return.
- Robert Porter (10/5): Great Little B+B in Ogunquit - Rich was the perfect host and served homemade scones along with other breakfast items. Central location with an easy walk to anywhere in Ogunquit. The shower was terrible, but it was repaired after i left.

The friendliness of the owners, coupled with the coziness of the rooms and amazing homemade scones for breakfast spoiled me rotten, to the point where I had to literally drag myself out of my room by checkout time. My mind, body and soul were all determined to stay!

- Erika (10/5): Perfect getaway BnB - Stayed here while I was in town for a workshop in Wells. Mark met me at the door when I arrived, showed me my room, and then we had a wonderful conversation. The BnB is in a charming old 1800s house, but has all the modern amenities. The room and bathroom was sparkling clean, the bed comfortable, and the access to the deck and hot tub a lovely bonus. Continental style breakfast and coffee are provided in the morning, and clean glasses plus hot and cold water are available to drink at all times. The location was ideal, right next to Route 1 but still quiet enough, and easy walk to all of Ogunquit's restaurants, Marginal Way, and the beach. I had an excellent stay here, and plan to come back!
