• EfratS58 (4/5): Needs improvement - Good location. Friendly staff. Room was very basic, hardly place for our luggage. No mosquito net so we couldnt open the window and ventilate the room. Bed was creaky. Problems with hot water to shower. The arramgement was to have our breakfests in Porta hotel, but to have limited options and not the breakfeast buffet served there, which was a bit odd.

• Marcel (9/5): Superb - The gardens have been renovated, so it's back to its usual glory again. It's quiet, yet within easy walking distance from parque central. Big plus: Easy parking that's included. We still don't understand when it's possible to have breakfast at the hotel and when not -- but we also found enough alternatives in the vicinity now.
• Anna (10/5): Exceptional - This is my favourite hotel in Antigua. I've stayed here several times over the years and keep coming back! Very central but also tucked away and quiet. Such a beautiful garden and terrace too. Breakfast wasn't available during our last stay but I've always loved breakfast here on other stays. We loved the little coffee maker in our room - a great addition! Everything was clean and perfect and the staff were kind and helpful as always! Thank you so much 🙏

• Verified traveler (4/5): Tired hotel, hot rooms, nice service - There is no air conditioning, which I knew before we went, but I was assured the evenings there are very comfortable. However, the rooms are hot, no matter what and you can’t really leave your window open because of the lack of privacy that would result. So the room was really very uncomfortable to sleep in. Also, the rooms were very outdated and not in good repair The breakfast was pretty good and everybody we dealt with there was very friendly and helpful

You can arrive late since they are open 24 hours. The staff is absolutely wonderful. Very efficient and friendly. Quiet location and walking distance to many places. I highly recommend this boutique hotel. They don’t disappoint!!!

• Marcel (8/5): Very good - Around our fifth time that we stayed here, so we like it overall. It's always clean, well equipped, and quiet with the perfect location for our purposes. Currently the garden is being refurbished until about May. Would have been nice to know before as the garden is one of the big reasons to come here. Also, I still don't understand what causes breakfast to be available at the hotel and when it's not available. I asked about it during check-in and was just told "there is no breakfast", however, we have had breakfast at this hotel, last on January 2. So there must be some kind of system I would like to understand.
• Evelyn (8/5): Good for the price. - It's was close to everything. Restaurants , bars and the plaza No mini fridge no A/C. And that it's under construction from January 20th to the end of may 2025. I wanted the garden view with the table to have my baby girl play and I have my coffee in the mornings but no garden at all.

The room is confortable and everything is very clean. They have room service from hotel Antigua. They have free water from ecofiltro and a pitcher in every room. It is also very clean. The coffee could be free or better quality if charged. Also the breakfast wasn't that good. There were somethings in the room that needed a little bit of love and fixing, like the lamps, or the tv.

It's a little unclear when you can have breakfast at the hotel and when there won't be breakfast service. This could be made more transparent.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the courtyard is peaceful and the rooms are clean. The rooms are very very small and the beds lumpy and soft. The bathrooms were extremely outdated.

Adicionalmente, por hacer la reserva en Expedia, y no en la pagina directa del hotel, no se pudo hacer uso de la piscina del hotel.

• PaySett (6/5): - This is a nice inexpensive option if you just need a place to crash. If you want to experience hotel amenities (bar, restaurant and pool) this may not be the the place for you. The hotel is owned by the same folks that own the Porta hotel which is really nice (and more high end) and it is just a block away. You can go there for breakfast and drink at the bar. Not sure if you can use the pool. The facilities have a charm to them but it is an old property that could use some improvements. My room was very small and there is no air conditioner. There is a fan that cool things down ok but it is noisy and takes up a lot of space. The bathroom was ok but the light above the mirror did not work. Overall this hotel is ok if you are budget conscious. The staff is friendly and it is in a good location (only a few blocks from the main plaza)
• Darwin (8/5): - We had a great stay at Hotel San Jorge. Although the hotel is a bit dated, the beds are comfortable and the gardens are lovely. We were nervous about not having air conditioner but the fan the hotel provided was sufficient as Antigua has cool nights. Would recommend staying here if you are looking for a chill time and restful evening.

Cosas por mejorar que nunca han mejorado, las cortinas, son muy cortas y poco funcionales, las habitaciones son muy calurosas, es difícil abrir las ventanas con ese tipo de cortinas y no son Black out y tampoco apagan la luz de los pasillos por las noches, es incómodo al dormir. Si mejoraron esos detalles tendrían mi puntuación completa. Por lo demás muy bonito y camas cómodas.
