Thankful for other front desk help. - HUGE shout out to Tyler who not only canceled our reservation the day of, because they oversold the hotel but also lied about it, throwing another employee under the bus and leaving her to clean up the mess. $300 is gone and is a fight to get back. I appreciate it, Tyler! They price gouged terribly because it was an event weekend at Spooky Nook. For the lack of cleanliness and the state of the rooms, it's not worth $200+ per night. (Was charged $300 for Saturday night and $200 for Sunday). The only positive is that it's very close to the event space so it's convenient for early call times. But next year, we'll find somewhere else unless they get their pricing under control.
carolhL8519NZ (10/5): Shine on - I've traveled with my son's for their sports team's Championship competition for 9 years and counting, I have never had an experience with a front desk agent like I've had with this young lady (Jennifer) at your establishment. She was pleasant and welcoming from the moment my family and I arrived. I experienced my 1st snowfall with this young lady and I'm 62 years old. 😃😃. Way to go Jennifer, you make the hotel shine! House keeping is very polite and tidy! Breakfast is one of the best I've had for a vacation. I will bring my family back every year. Blessings Carol N.

222deborahs (10/5): The Place to Stay - We checked in at 2 pm, with friendly staff. Hotel is very clean. Our room is 218, large and comfy, clean, very clean. ALICIA is a jewel! She’s full of helpful area information. She’s a worker as are the rest of the folks we see as we stay here for 2 nights. Highly recommend this lovely hotel.
723nealg (8/5): Comfortable accomodations with excellent soundproofing - Stayed 2 nights as a group of friends with young children and babies and the rooms were quite comfortable with excellent soundproofing between the rooms. We were completely unable to hear a crying baby in the room next to us until we went into the hallway. If you want peace of mind knowing you won't have to hear your neighbors and they won't hear you this is the place to stay. I have never experienced better soundproofing in a hotel in this price range.

Frederick (10/5): Wonderful relaxing stay! - I liked the privacy option of one being able to request housekeeping. However there were a couple of times they entered and once while I was in room. It was not a bother to me and not intrusive. I wish I had had a privacy card for my door. OTHERWISE EXCELLENT STAY. Also wish there had been an ATM or a barcode my for tipping the housekeeping staff.
Bowers (10/5): Girls Weekend - The beds were comfortable, the facility was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Perfect location to do so many activities in the area, and close to restaurants and shopping. Mattress on the pull out sofa was all springs. It was more comfortable for the extra person to sleep on the sofa rather than the pull out bed.

Patricia (5/5): So so. Probably wouldn’t book again - Close to Spooky Nook First room we got put in was dirty, had to move to another room. Elevators were broken. Had to carry luggage up and down 3 flights of stairs. Breakfast stunk, by 6:40 am on a wrestling tournament weekend all fruit was gone.

I booked specifically a room with 2 queen beds and they gave us a king with a pull out which we didn’t want. When i asked for a switch they said they gave my room away. Very disappointing. Jean (10/5): Good Stay, Very Good Value! - I think it’s a nice, affordable place to stay—esp if you are going to Hershey. About 25 min away. We have stayed here before. The free breakfast is nice, esp if you have kids, it will save you money for sure! We had a king suite, conveniently located.

Continental breakfast did not have a many choices (First day there was bread and muffins among other foods. Second day there was only bread among the other foods, no English Muffins or types of bagels. My kids (17,14,17) were down there getting breakfast and my daughter went to get waffle mix and the knob fell off. The guy accused her of breaking it and was saying how she made a big mess. She came back to the room upset. Also me and my husband went down around 9:05 for breakfast... and there was barely anything. No kind of bread/bagels..not sure if yogurt is something that is normally there. 1 biscuit left. 4 packages of just regular oatmeal. Even if you dont have all the hot foods till 9:30.. should restock the breads , cold things , and like the oatmeal. And he shut the doors early. Not even at 930.

Our room was damp and the AC didn't seem to work quite right. The shower curtain was installed too high which made it hard to keep the water from puddling outside of the tub.
Tiara (2/5): Poor Customer Service - There were several occupants playing on the doors and running loudly in the hallway. I call the front desk staff to complain and he voiced it was nothing else he could do due to having several other complaints. I asked for a refund and they stated they could not due to me booking online. Poor customer service.
Richard (5/5): Regretful - Adequate breakfast but a noisy air conditioning unit and shower was dangerous. No grab bar and floor was so slippery I fell out and tumbled onto the floor. Am getting xrays of my back soon. See the above

Mazhar (8/5): - I was visiting Lancaster with my family and stayed overnight at this hotel. On the plus side, the property looked and felt relatively new, staff was courteous, room was spacious (we had 5 adults and a child). On the downside, (personally) we were not impressed by the location and breakfast. The location was a standalone property with literally nothing around it (on the plus side it was quiet). The breakfast was ok with very limited options and quality was not particularly remarkable. I checked out the pool and gym area and they seemed nice and clean as well. Overall, I would give it a 7.5 out of 10.

Clean, Comfy, and Budget-Friendl - We checked in late around 10–11pm after a long 6–7 hour drive filled with traffic, exhausted but excited to celebrate my son’s birthday. I was surprised how busy it was for a Sunday night—phones ringing nonstop, multiple guests checking in, others needing assistance. Despite the chaos, the front desk agent (I wish I remembered her name) handled it all with grace. Calm, efficient, and tactful, she acknowledged every guest, prioritized smartly, and managed check-ins while fielding persistent questions from another customer. She even apologized to me while multitasking and never missed a step. Turns out she usually works mornings and was covering a shift—if she’s not a manager, she should be. The staff overall was warm and welcoming—everyone we passed smiled. My husband used the gym, which had clean, modern equipment. He and my son enjoyed breakfast, and when the biscuits were too hard from the warmer, the staff quickly replaced them with a smile. The indoor pool was clean, perfectly heated, and kid-friendly (3–5 ft depth). Clean towels and poolside seating were available, with a lovely outdoor patio facing cornfields where the kids dried off. We paid $134 for a 2-bed suite with a sofa bed—affordable for summer and only 20–30 mins from Hershey Park. I usually struggle to sleep in hotels, but I actually slept well here. We’ll definitely be back. Kudos to the whole team—keep it up!

williamoX4021XG (10/5): Perfect for our needs for 4 nights. - If we were to go back to Lancaster this is where we would stay. Being a bit north of the city there was a country feel and green grass to see. We did not use the pool but I did use the small gym one night. We had a room with two queen beds and a somewhat separate area for a couch which could be used to watch the TV when it was pointed away from the sleeping area. The staff were helpful about nearby places for dinner.

Location is quite isolated unless you’re there for Spooky Nook sports.

Carl (5/5): Nice but never again! - The property was great I didn’t like the fact that they have a very small pool and I didn’t get the chance to even put a tie in it because it was completely crowded (they couldn’t even swim) with kids, I feel as though I paid just like everyone else but couldn’t even get to use it once. The staff told me to come when the kids leave but we were there for tournaments also and I think it’s funny how she told me to go around their schedule. Now I’m not saying it was racially motivated but it surely seemed to be that way and even though the facility was nice and clean I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here and be treated the way we were.

Rooms were nice The only "negatives" would be that the sofa bed was not comfortable at all, and we knew breakfast was over at 9am, we were sitting there eating & the kitchen worker just shut the door, didn't ask if anyone wanted to grab anything last min before he shut the door, which I thought was pretty rude. Other than that, stay was good
Antonio (1/5): Horrible hotel and rude staff! - I liked that our stay ended because one more night of discomfort and stress was not tolerable. The tv worked intermittently-The bed sheet was too small for the mattress and during the night the sheet popped off and I woke up with the plastic mattress covering touching my skin. A large group of guests poured into the lobby in clingy pajamas and night hats and were talking in loud volumes while taking all available tables and overcoming the lobby. The hotel staff felt this was acceptable as long as their body parts were not showing! This was daily and the front staff was unmoved by our being upset! We were not informed that housekeeping was on request only and even after we asked for a room cleaning the housekeeping staff left the sheet up and the plastic protector exposed by a foot. When we complained and told the staff we explained we needed a fitted sheet to fit the mattress properly the finally found one and in a very nasty explanation told us “we must have had objects on the bed if they didn’t change the sheets “. We told them we had Nothing On The Bed! With that we finally had new sheets put on properly. This was a horrible stay at a hotel where staff is unable to control the decent behavior of guests or have manners and compassion when replying to a complaint! Worst stay ever!
Verified traveler (6/5): Pool issues - Stayed with kids. Pool was cloudy and moisture levels in pool area were excessive causing to question ventilation and chemical levels. Cloudy pools arent clean pools. This should have been closed and remedied.
