The listing did not provide accurate instructions that it is for transfer customer only After arriving exhausted from travel, I was left stranded with no help from staff. I could not check in and could not get refund. What a complete waste of time and money! Avoid this place unless you enjoy unnecessary stress and disappointment. Proper communication is the bare minimum for any hotel, and this one failed spectacularly.

- John (2/5): - Checked in at 2100. Fire alarm went off at 0100 in the services room next to my Room. Alarm was the result of a burst water main resulting in flooding of the floor with water to my door. Service personnel were working on the issue until 0400, loud voices, blowers and vacuum cleaners to remove the water. I got no sleep after 0100. Management refused to refund my booking - saying that I would have to apply through Expedia. Expedia report that the hotel has refused the refund and they have offer US$25 - 10% of the cost. I checked out at 0600 for a flight. Exceedingly poor customer service.

- Roger (8/5): Double booked. - It’s a good transit stay. But it’s well over priced. And the website double charged me. First when I booked it after filling all the necessary questions and submitted it, it said completed. Later it sent me a message that I need to continue to complete the booking which I did again. Only to find out I double booked. I had a hard time cancelling it but eventually the customer service cancelled it got me but not penalizing me US$49.00. Not too happy on that.

- John (8/5): - Just be aware your hotel stay is for 6 hours. It is a transit hotel. If you have a longer layover best to find something buy you do have later checkout if arriving in the evening. With the room fee I did get a breakfast of sorts with little selection at the same name Lounge.

We would expect that any kind of construction work would be done during the day and not between 11:35pm and 4:00am. At 4:45am, there was also a false fire alarm, which invited to get dressed and leave our rooms… Terrible!

Waited in line to get a room and they told me there were none available and that online was wrong. They wouldn't give me a room so I booked the room online to show them the system was still showing available rooms. They then gave me a room. We contacted the hotel and they told us we had to get expedia to contact them as we booked through them. Expedia called within 3 minutes of our calling them and the hotel wouldn't answer. They would not take any of their calls and did not give us a refund even though I explained that we couldn't get to the hotel during our 1st call.

Unfortunately this was the case for me and my partner. Left many many messages and zero response (even 5 days later no response). We were unable to check in. I wish this review was available when I was booking to save me from the mistake. The worst experience ever. There are many better options available even at a higher price because that would be better than the experience I had. Terrible

I was told the hotel was sold out. I went online and there were many rooms available, I booked and paid online and then I was giving a room, after I booked online when I was told in person that the hotel was sold out I ask why did she tell me hotel was completely sold out, but it wasn’t and she said because those rooms was available for different people and I said I clearly see the rooms were for different people, non black!!

- Michael (10/5): - This is an ideal option for a short (6 hours) stay with all the amenities of a hotel. Inside Terminal 2 at the Singapore Airport, so I was past security already, all the shops were open at midnight, including restaurants as well. The room was a little cool (couldn’t adjust the temperature for it was centrally controlled) so I was offered a couple of blankets. The beds were very comfortable, the room was clean and the lounge with breakfast was available.

- Edward (8/5): - The T2 property is super convenient. Note you can rent it for six or twelve hours. On the positive side, the staff were competent and courteous, the room was very clean, and there are good details such as universal AC sockets and decent lighting. Like many (but not all) in terminal hotels, most of the rooms are windowless. The downsides include a big step up to the bathroom (presumably to retrofit drainage for the toilet, sink, and shower), an underpowered HVAC system, a bed on casters that makes it difficult to prop up in the bed without pushing it away from the wall, and very poor soundproofing (I could hear far too much of what my neighbor was doing, and door closures are loud). Also, while you receive meal tickets to the Ambassador Lounge across the way, the meal is low in quality with super cheap ingredients. Staff is good, but the food is not. Breakfast starts at 430am but the kitchen part doesn't open until 7am. Much better to go to the food court.

- Thu (6/5): Clean Room Poor Service/Food not worth the Price - We had a 10 hour overnight layover in Terminal 2, so this was the best and about the only option with a private bed/room and shower. You definitely pay a premium for the convenience with the hourly packages available. We read several reviews about the great service received, to which we regrettably did not experience at check in or during our stay. The staff at the front counter had a cold and unhospitable demeanor, we had to wait about a minute to get acknowledged upon arrival and did not feel welcomed. We were promptly told our checkout time to the minute, while the staff waited impatiently as we debated whether we wanted to add on an extra hour for $25. Granted it was close to midnight, but a smile and a warm greeting would go a long ways for guests on long journies in transit. The room was clean and comfortable with essential amenities provided, but beware of extra noise as we had bear with nearby rooms being cleaned and vacuumed with the constant quick turnovers at this hotel. The food selection and quality of the included breakfast at the Ambassador Lounge was poor. We were disappointed with this overall unpleasant experience and note to self to look elsewhere for a restful sleep and premium lounge on future transits through Changi.
