• David (5/5): Everything was fine except the bed and AC unit - great location, very quiet , nice setting The bed and pillows were awful. The AC wall unit was an antique. It ran all the time no matter what you set the thermostat at.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Never again - Black mold on air conditioner which we didn’t use because of it. I have a bad cough this morning as a result. Beds and pillows were so hard we both slept terrible and woke with sore bodies.

The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and very cozy. The parking had your room number in the parking space by your room. The property was extremely clean and felt very safe. I am looking forward to spending a week there next summer.

The room had a full kitchen, including full-size refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishes and utensils--even ice in the freezer. AC worked great as well as all the other appliances. There were amenities such as soap, shampoo and conditioner. The owner asked me about my trip and even clued me in that I would have to cross a ferry to get from Plattsburgh to Burlington, VT which would cost extra, so I was able to cancel my next hotel to avoid that. Very friendly and helpful. CLEAN! Even though I accidentally chose this hotel which was miles from where I would be working, I would do it all over again. It was well worth it!

Beautiful view of the St. Lawrence river. You may even get to see some ships going by. Nice, clean rooms with a full kitchen. Even dishes and utensils supplied! Enjoy the sunset be over the river.
• Susan (10/5): A bachelor apartment disguised as a motel - This motel is quiet on winter weekends and it fit our needs for New Years eve night. They are out by the golf course on the waterfront which provides peace and quiet during the off-season but could be really hopping during the summer. The owner told us that during the week it is popular with short term contractors but they were all gone for the holidays. There was no inflated price for New Years and we were made to feel welcome. If circumstances provide the opportunity, we will definitely come back. Thanks
• David (10/5): Made a nice visit better - We visited Massena, NY for a wedding. Area is your typical small town. The only major drawback is Sprint Cell service is lacking a little. If you are not sure about your Cell Service policy for international....call- it will save you some big fees for international calling...you will be close enough to bounce off the Canadian towers. - everything else was nice. The local restaurants are hit or miss for friendliness as some of the people we encountered were what I might consider borderline rude. The hostess at LakeView, Cathy, was very friendly and very accommodating. She answered all questions and was extremely courteous.
