- Emily (9/5): Beautiful pool and gardens in the perfect location - Beautiful grounds and pool facilities. Staff all really lovely and accommodating, we even got a room upgrade to be by the garden! Not super busy and great restaurant in site. Great location at the end of La Punta so wasn’t noisy at all at nights. Our original room Lily was above the laundry so would have been quite noisy so very grateful to be upgraded to a garden room.

Free yoga classes each morning were brilliant, really high quality with knowledgeable instructors. The food was good. The gardens by the pool gave it a very tranquil relaxed vibe. Unfortunately noisy neighbours and dogs barking at night. One of the rooms (palma) had weaker air con so took a long time to cool.

- Trista (10/5): Family gathering in Paridise - The Casamar suites was an exceptional hotel located right in the heart of La punta only one block from the ocean. Its a private oasis surrounded by a bustling night life. Everything you could ever want is right at your door step. My family of 17 were divided into 4 unique suites for our 2 week stay. . My immediate family of 7, 2 adults and 5 kids stayed in the Ninos suite which was a perfect fit for us. The cleaning staff were amazing and the suite was cleaned everyday except sunday. The pool was always cool and refreshing and the restaurant at casamar served delicious food at the best prices you can find in the area. Every morning we were spoiled with fresh coffee, free for all guests and served poolside from 6:30am until 11:00 am. You can tell the staff are well cared for by the owner and it shows in the pride that they take in caring for the Casamar property. Everything is clean and immaculate. There were no complaints by any of the 17 of us, young and old, we have all agreed that we would love to go back and stay again.

- Stefan (9/5): Definitivamente me hospedaré en este hotel nuevamente la próxima vez que esté en Puerto Escondido. - El Casamar es un oasis de tranquilidad, con una ubicación ideal entre la playa y la zona de ocio. La comida del pequeño restaurante junto a la piscina fue simplemente sensacional. ¡Felicitaciones al chef! ¡Las dos recepcionistas también fueron muy amables! Pasé mi segunda noche en el Eagles Nest. Era bastante más ruidoso y no tan silencioso como los bungalows de la planta baja del complejo hotelero. Aun así, ¡lo recomiendo!

- Mack (10/5): Probably the best place we've ever stayed - Absolutely fabulous hotel! The location was perfect, the staff were awesome, the facilities were gorgeous. We will 100% be coming back here. It seemed like every possible effort was made that guests feel welcome and cared for. Since we cook much of our own food, we need a kitchen, and often those are poorly supplied. Not here! The knives were SHARPENED. There was a veggie peeler, a lemon squeezer, a cutting board, nice cooking pots, a large bottle of filtered water, paper towels, dish soap and dish towels, pool, bath and beach towels, free beach umbrellas and chairs and yoga classes, even a welcome dinner. The kitchen and bath design were so gorgeous that when we arrived my (minimally effusive) teen daughter exclaimed, "now I know what I want my kitchen and bathroom to look like some day!" It's an easy walk to the beach, to restaurants, to handy little grocery stores. There's even a little restaurant in the hotel which was quite good. We had no need for a car. I wish there were more places like this. Not a thing
- Viviana (8/5): Lovely - Lovely accommodation right between the beach and the main walking street in Puerto Escondido. The morning yoga classes and free coffee were a great bonus. Fully equipped kitchen was perfect to make my own breakfast in the morning! While I wasn't looking for a party place, this was more family-oriented than I imagined. Using the pool or sitting in the garden during the middle of the day is not exactly a relaxing option if you do not want to be around kids... The daily cleaning was in fact only emptying the trash bins and it would be nice to at least swipe the floors, too.

- Matilda (10/5): - Absolutely beautiful spot. We stayed in the Eagle's Nest room (junior suite) where the views were magical. Waking up with the sunrise and the birds was amazing, as was swimming in the pool in the mornings, surrounded by dragonflies! There's free yoga, coffee, aqua aerobics and beach umbrellas and towels you can use for free. The people there were really kind and friendly. Location is great - so close to lots of bars and restaurants and the beach, but also very quiet. A real oasis and a super special stay.

Our room was very cute and had everything we needed. The room had a horrible smell coming from bathroom. The noise from the street made sleeping difficult. The bed was very hard. Finally, to many stairs to climb. I think four flights of stairs is hard.

El apartamento consta de todo lo necesario: cocina totalmente equipada, baño privado, aire acondicionado, ventiladores y una terraza. La zona es muy tranquila ya que la calle no es muy transitada. Las zonas comunes están muy limpias y son muy agradables, disfrutamos mucho de la piscina. Tienen un restaurante con precios razonables para la zona. El personal es muy agradable, de hecho aunque el check out es a las 11 nos dejaron quedarnos en la piscina hasta que nos fuimos al aeropuerto. Entre las facilidades incluidas están: sillas y sombrillas para ir a la playa, café en la mañana y clases de yoga (recomendables) Quizás no hay demasiado hueco para dejar las maletas si vienes con mucho equipaje, por lo menos en nuestro apartamento

That is close to the main street in La Punta where all the bars & restaurants are at, but tucked away enough to still be very quiet and peaceful. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the grounds are lush and beautiful and their little restaurant is really good and well priced. Will definitely be coming back.

El lugar cuenta con estacionamiento y eso es un plus ya que es indispensable contar con un vehículo para moverse por Puerto Escondido. El trato con el personal del hotel fue muy cordial y atento, te sientes como en casa. Mi única queja fue que me dieron una habitación muy escondida y con muy poca entrada de luz, cuando en la reservación se dio a entender que la misma estaba frente a la piscina del hotel. De ahí en fuera recomiendo mucho alojarse en Casamar Suites, la experiencia fue muy placentera.

He gave us great recommendations of things to do. He was friendly and very accommodating. Made us feel like family. Oh and I also loved, loved the Cat Julio. I will be back just to see them both.

The pool area was beautiful. Very relaxed vibe all around. They are a couple of blocks from the beach and lots of dining options. Excellent location. There are amazing food options a short cab ride away. However, they also have a small restaurant inside of the hotel that serves typical Mexican food. Portions were good, food was delicious, and it was fairly priced. Room was nice and well kept. I didn’t take advantage of yoga, but nice to see that they offer it. Appreciate that the pool was open until 10pm each night. Looking forward to visiting again!

Loved the free morning yoga classes and they were held in a beautiful space so conducive to this type of class. Also enjoyed the mid day water aerobics classes which had a sense of bonhommie with the guests/participants. Our room was spacious, comfortable and colourful. Enjoyed yummy and healthy breakfast options. Overall, a sense of relaxation, like an oasis each time we opened the gate to the property. Beach a short easy walk nearby.
- Matthew (10/5): A quiet oasis in this popular beach town - We loved the yoga class in the morning. Handy to have a little kitchen to prepare our own breakfasts. So close to the beach and they lent us an umbrella, beach towels and a boogie board :) Safe, on site parking was a bonus. Friendly staff. All was good.

Si pudiera colocar más estrellas lo haría, creo que este no es un hotel es una casa donde te sientes en familia, todo el personal muy amable, la comida del restaurante excelente, los martes hay una sorpresa para los huéspedes, no lo diré descubranlo, además tiene una ubicación muy buena, a dos cuadras de la playa y cerca de las zona de bares. La cereza fue que te prestan sillas y sombrilla para cuando vayas a la playa. Los cuartos son mini Depas, con todo lo necesario. Sin duda un buen lugar en puerto escondido. Muchas gracias !!! Regresaré :)

- Kate (10/5): Fantastic place to stay! - Beautiful traditionally decorated property, very comfortable, close to beach and restaurants. Great shared facilities like pool, tv room, restaurant and free coffee in the mornings. Staff were lovely. Nothing, would definitely stay there again.
- Hadar (10/5): Look no further, amazing place! - What a hidden gem! We booked one night and ended up staying 4. We stayed in room #3 that was beautiful and spacious, and then room 8 that was a bit smaller but still awesome. The rooms are clean and well equipped with everything we needed to make our stay a pleasant one. We were also able to park our motorcycles securely which was a huge plus. The hotel team is incredible, super kind and helpful. They offer laundry services, there's a restaurant on site, yoga classes and pool aerobics, and even a meet and greet dinner. You simply wouldn't want to leave. We had a wonderful stay and will definately recommend to anyone visiting Puerto Escondido. Unlike other places around, it was quiet, and yet super close to everything - the beach, local grocery store and restaurants. Being able to cook in the room was great since PE is so expensive. Loved it! There was nothing we didn't like, the property exceeded our expectations.

- Abbi (10/5): - A peaceful oasis! We stayed in the Cocos room and were lucky to enjoy the sunset every evening from our terrace. The pool was gorgeous and we spend most of the afternoons lounging there. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a wonderful experience. We would highly recommend.
