Ruturaj (10/5): Best Hostel in Porto - I had an amazing stay at this hostel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Porto. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the city and all its main attractions. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with recommendations and any questions I had. The hostel was very clean, comfortable, and had a great atmosphere that made it easy to relax and meet other travelers. Everything was well organized, and you can tell the team really cares about creating a positive experience for guests. I truly enjoyed my time here and would definitely stay again. Nothing to dislike

A vista do rio pela janela é linda! A equipe muito solicita. Célio me ajudou a montar o roteiro de um dia a pé e foi perfeito. Amei! A localização é boa. Eu amei as obras de arte nas escadas. Oferecem mapa de Porto e tampões de ouvido. Tudo de muita qualidade. Tive problemas quando cheguei. O quarto tem 11 leitos e 3 deles ficam num mezanino, tipo colchão no chão, sem espaço suficiente para bagagem. São 3 andares de escadas mais escada do mezanino. Sr Paulo foi muito solícito e resolveu a situação mudando minha cama. Não recomendo o mezanino pois o espaço é bem pequeno para se acomodar e ajeitar as coisas. Cuidado para não bater a cabeça no armário. A recepção só funciona pela manhã. Dá para fazer tudo a pé mas tem que andar um pouco mais.

Hajar (9/5): Je recommande vivement ce hostel et je reviendrai. - C'était ma première expérience dans un hostel est je ne la regrette pas. La chambre était propre, bien équipée, avec une belle vue sur la rivière. Les toilettes étaient bien propres et équipées. L'emplacement était parfait à 10min à pied des endroits touristiques. Le petit-déjeuner correct. Les filles étaient gentille et calme surtout pendant la nuit. La seule chose que j'ai pas apprécié dans ce hostel c'est que la clime est allumée toute la nuit de 22h à 8h du mat et bien sûr il faisait très froid surtout que mon lit était en face de la clime et donc j'ai pas pu dormir, j'ai envoyé un msg wtsp de l'hostel mais ils m'ont dit que c'est impossible de l'éteindre et que c'est automatique !!! heureusement qu'un autre lit en face était disponible, et donc j'ai changer de lit et j'ai reclamé le lendemain même si c'était interdit mais j'avais pas de choix pour dormir.

Caitlin (7/5): - Beautiful view of the river. Bathroom is well designed with multiple shower and toilet stalls, allowing several people to use the facilities simultaneously. Storage was quite poor; no space under the beds for suitcases but the lockers were also very small and made of particle board. Electrical outlets set near each bed were actually extension cords plugged into extension cords.

Brigitta Ingrid (1/5): Never again - I requested a lower bed due to my injured knee and they kindly fulfilled the request despite my last-minute booking. Overpriced, dirty, a real pain in the neck.. When the hostel guy comes after you into the female dorm room to collect the deposit for the keys… which information they claim was included in the long info message (it wasn’t), is really inconvenient. The room was super small and dirty old shirts and towels were hanging everywhere. Seems like the beds are in continuous rotation, one wonders if they ever do a deep cleaning (floor so dusty). This room had no nice river view, overlooked a firewall and the AC(?) outlets which were very loud during the night. Barely any wifi signal at the top floor. .........Dear Property, attitude is completely fine when one meets with clear communication... maybe you should revisit and improve your information sheet including ALL elements instead of suggesting me retaking anything.. The problem is going after guests to collect money that was nowhere mentioned before... (one wonders if hiding information about any deposit is against booking's policies..) You do not mention it in your description neither in your messages sent after the booking is paid. Oh and empathy should start with no phones on loudspeaker during nightime - maybe you should put up notes on the doors as some of your guests apparently find it normal to watch videos on loudspeaker till 2 am in a dorm room...... .......Dear property, you are clearly mistaking me for another guest and tell lies! I do not smoke. I had zero interaction with your staff apart from paying you the key deposit after you came after me and asking if it was indicated in your house rules or info message. There was an "antisocial" guest (NOT ME) in the room playing loud videos at night, which I mentioned previously - IF you had read my response... In your previous response, you used information shared with you in a private message for making ad hominem then deleted your message. Now you are stating sheer lies. It says it all about you... report to booking.com has been made.

Irene_grandi (9/5): Relaxing atmosphere - The location is perfect for exploring Porto and relaxing away from the city noise. The staff was very welcoming, and the hostel atmosphere is very chill! The kitchen is well-equipped, and you can find books and games in the common area! The beds are comfortable, with individual lights and electrical outlets, and the bathrooms are spacious and ensuite. I'll definitely be back!

Afek (10/5): Wonderful, I really recommend. - I really enjoyed the river view and the location, which is within walking distance of all the main attractions and right in the vibrant Ribeira district. The rooms are well designed, each with a private bathroom that includes two shower cabins and two toilets, which is very convenient. I especially appreciated their attention to details: in the female-only dorm, they provided a hair dryer, a straightener, and even a scale. It’s also great that you can arrive at any time. The kitchen is very well equipped, with a stove, an oven, a microwave, a kettle, and even an air fryer. Finally, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I would have preferred having curtains on each bed for more privacy, but it was still fine without them.

La ubicación está apenas como 1km del centro. Cobran las toallas (2.5€ creo) lo cual siempre es un mal detalle :(. Pero de resto muy bueno.

Petit-déjeuner peu fourni mais pas mal non plus, un petit problème de communication à ce sujet : il était indiqué que celui-ci était inclu mais nous avons finalement payé un petit supplément. Cependant ce n'est pas un gros problème et l'auberge est très sympa malgré tout.

Porque tudo que eu esvrever aqui, vai ser pouco para dizer como é maravilhoso, limpo, vista, Celio e Nafitaly. Eu vivo em hostels por todo o mundo e nunca estive em um hostel com tantos banheiros por quartos. Nāo só o chuveiro, com aquela pressāo que só na casa da gente tem. Mas o espaço do chuveiro, da entradinha para o box e depois vem aquele espaço maravilhoso para uso da pia. do secador de cabelo... Parece hotel chique. Café, chocolate, canela, quatro ou cinco tipos de geleia, nutela, paes, manteiga e margarina, queijo, fiambre e choriço. Tudo isso em um buffet. Fruta e pote com balinhas o dia inteiro. Um filtro de agua fresquinha e limpinha, que a gente pode encher nossas garrafas E o tamanho dos quartos? Gigantescos, com camas de madeira solida e espaçadas. Dá para dançar valsa de tāo grandes. Tem hostels que com o espaço que vc tem, teria o dobro de camas. E a cozinha??? Nova e totalmente equipada. Seu hostel é fino e elegante sem ser pretencioso. Está pronto para receber qualqier tipo de pessoa. Aqui na europa, não existe hostels de 10, 9,euros. Esses hosteis na verdade são pensões sujas com varios moradores. O custo e benefico daqui é enorme, uma vez que alem da cozinha super limpa e equipada para cozinhar e o que se economiza com o café da manhã, faz o preço ser o mesmo dessas pensoes. Na beira do rio Douro e que vista. Aqui na frente do rio só tem hoteis caros. É uma localizaçāo privilegiadissima. Uma vista das janelas dos quartos. Agora para terminar o mais importante, Muitoo obrigada pela segurança, a disponibilidade, a atenção, o silencio, o cuidado e paz. Muito obrigado mesmo. Hostel não é um lugar para amontoar as pessoas. É cultural. O seu é impecavel. Outubro estarei de volta! Eu realmente não sei como esse hostel tem avaliação que não seja dez. Esse hostel não é dez. É 1000!!! Um abraço

Particularly the shower draining. - Great location, great view, comfortable bed, full kitchen and beautiful building. Quiet enough but not far from the bustle. Shower drain needs draino, is clogged, no hangers for bathroom towels, no broom for floor, no sharp knives for kitchen.
Tomasz (10/5): Great, chill space to put your head down and get good breakfast - Great place to stay for cheap, location is great, breakfast is included with plenty of options. The owner is spot on and down to earth but will manage issues if there are any. Place has a decent living area with lots of tables, games, books and puzzles if weather is not the best outside. Plenty of local places to go for coffee, grocery shopping, food and transport links to town centre and beaches.

Romana (7/5): Clean hostel with kind staff and a beautiful view - Nice, quiet hostel with friendly staff and a truly beautiful view. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and flexible with my check-in time. The hostel is clean, quiet, and well organized, with lockers and keys provided. Dorm rooms were warm in winter, and there was always hot water. Filtered drinking water is freely available at any time. Public transport stops right in front of the hostel, and the city center is easily reachable on foot. The hostel is located on a busy road, so there can be some traffic noise, but earplugs are provided. Wi-Fi worked well on the ground floor, but was quite weak in the female dorm. I didn't like the filtered coffee included for breakfast (but a stronger coffee is available for a small extra charge) There is no cozy common area for hanging out or socializing, the breakfast room feels quite impersonal. Also, the dorm rooms cannot be locked.

They have a free luggage storage, just around the corner, so that’s fantastic as well! The reception hours don’t match the real reception presence & availability. It would be helpful to clarify when you can use the self-check-in and when someone is really present to assist.

Os problemas conto abaixo. - Armário com chave pequeno. Não coube meu notebook. - Ar condicionado do quarto ficava exatamente em cima da minha cama (superior beliche), focado na minha direção. Todos os dias, ao chegar, precisava fazer contato para regularem o ar condicionado. A solução do proprietário era desligar o ar condicionado. Um quarto com 8 meninas com a porta fechada. - Se o café da manhã é decisivo para sua reserva, talvez seja interessante saber que funciona das 8h às 10h. Comida ok, uma térmica com café solúvel. - Chuveiro muito bom, mas sem escoamento suficiente, seus pés "ficam de molho" na água empossada.

El dormitorio no contaba con llave en la puerta de entrada lo cual el primer día me dio un sentimiento de inseguridad, pero luego me acostumbre y todo fue bien .
