- Hans (10/5): Rustic retreat - Directions to the property were easy to follow. The Dairy was a lovely rustic retreat. It was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable, showers hot and strong. The big centre shower rose was excellent. The aircon kept the unit at a comfortable temperature. All the ingredients were left there for either a cook your own or continental breakfast. There was no mirror in the bathroom and there was either no hairdryer or one couldn't be found.
- Wim (7/5): B&b - De omgeving en het idyllische huisje Niets

- Paul (8/5): Comfortable. Fantastic value. Great Brekky. - Tranquil farm. Plenty of space Lots of bugs in the house.
- Kimberley (10/5): Tranquil cozy peaceful stay on a farm by a river with lovely hosts and cute camels. Couldn’t ask for much more - Quiet and peaceful. Rustic and cozy farm stay. The kids absolutely loved the camels. Nothing but if I have to choose I’ll say the mozzies which isn’t the property’s fault
- John (9/5): - Comfortable lounge No smoke extractor in kitchen, no mirror in bathroom
- rebecca (10/5): - Relaxed surroundings. Seeing the camels, taking a cruze on the kayaks and just enjoying the atmosphere 👌
- Bowstead (10/5): - Diane is an amazing host . Second time there Had to leave

- Rachel (8/5): Lovely farm stay - Lovely old renovated barn! We loved the wooden beams and slate floors. The bed was super comfortable! The farm surrounds were relaxing! Kitchen and bathroom could probably use a little update, but were perfectly functional.
- Bob (10/5): Brilliant - Excellent! Everything to hand .all amenities available. Nothing we enjoyed a lovely peaceful and different experience
- Gaylene (10/5): - The hosts were lovely.
The barn was rustic, and the bed was super comfy, and I relaxed a lot - which was good because I was recovering from an eye injury. Overall, it was a lovely and relaxing getaway. Nothing.
- Anil (10/5): - Excellent location for relaxing.
Pretty views.
- Katrina (9/5): The facilities were clean and comfortable. It was the perfect stop over as we were traveling with cats and appreciated t - Perfect for pets
- David (9/5): -
- Jeff (6/5): Pleasant, but disappointed by the cleanliness - The space and set up was very good. The Bathroom had been reently updated and beautiflly presented. Upon arrival we found that there was no lock on the building and you had no security when you went out for the evening. When we used the kettle and fridge we found that the surfaces were greasy and had not been cleaned properly. Also the windows were not cleaned and the flyscreens were missing or damaged on some of the windows.
- Corin (10/5): Charming, peaceful pit-stop — great value - This was the perfect pitstop on a road trip… peaceful, comfortable and way nicer than a motel. We were in the Dairy, which had loads of room, a good kitchen, a luxe-feeling bathroom and lots of charm. It’s old-school in the best way. The breakfast was generous… the whole stay was exceptionally good value.
- mazzeo (10/5): 10/10 - This was a amazing stay for a amazing price in a amazing location. Breakfast was provided and it was beautiful scenery. Thank you so much for having us Everything. Contacted late notice and they were super helpful
- Warwick (9/5): -
- Benson (10/5): Ever Memorable stay - Great location and amazing owners
Super friendly pets
- Stephanie Sabina (10/5): - We stayed at River House. Very calm place directly at a small river between fields and meadows. Perfect view through the many glass fronts, but still very private. Perfect view on the night sky! Amazing breakfast, the fridge was filled with fresh milk, eggs and ham. There was even a spa, but we didn't have the time to use it.
We were thankful for the driving directions send by mail before arrival, otherwise we might not have found the place.
- Kimberley (10/5): - A beautiful place with excellent facilities.
- Sammy (10/5): - Second time back and the kids loved it. Great scenery and environment for the family to relax and unwind.
- Dingo3333k (10/5): - The scenery, the dogs, the farmer style accommodation.
- deborah (10/5): Loved it. - We were in The Pump. i just loved sitting on the deck r staying in bed watching the birds. Lots of wrens and raptors enjoying Rainbow Creek just metres away. The breakfast supplies were more than enough. We are old school and would have liked a folder with information in our cabin. A map, instructions for the spa and TV.
Some interesting places to go. Maffco, Ash timber shop, there's a couple of good cafes in Heywood. Tinamba Hotel, Sale art Gallery and more.

- Naomi (10/5): Our new favourite B&B - "The dairy" B&B was perfect for us . On the quiet country lane , surrounded by lush paddocks, gardens and peace . The atmosphere of the place was amazing. The furniture, layout and breakfast . 100% cozy cottage feels. The best part was being able to bring our dog . My special little girl loved that part the best. Thank you so much , well definitely be back soon .

- Danny (10/5): - You can't beat fresh bacon and eggs for breakfast. Was delicious. The location was awesome too. Would love to have the cabin fenced to give our dog some off lead yard.
- Charlie (10/5): - The accommodation (The Dairy) was spacious, charming and well provided. The bed was super comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. The instructions were comprehensive and clear.
The host was relaxed, friendly, interesting and generous.
The dogs and camels were a special bonus.
- Marian (9/5): If you want views, countryside, sound of birdsong, peace and relaxation, then this is for you. - The converted barn was well laid out. Everything I needed was provided. The location was magical with great views and birdlife. It was peaceful. The host was very helpful and friendly in answering my questions. In the bathroom the buttons on the cistern had been damaged and there was a hole in the vinyl flooring. Other than that everything else was as I expected.

Tastefully decorated.

The shower was a bit dirty.

- James (10/5): - Our recent stay at the Abington was nothing short of delightful! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the immaculate cleanliness of the house. Every corner was tidy and well-maintained, which made us feel right at home.
The amenities were fantastic. The heaters kept us warm and cozy, creating a perfect atmosphere for our family getaway. We loved that the kitchen was stocked with breakfast essentials like butter, milk, eggs, and cereal. It made our mornings easy and enjoyable, allowing us to savor leisurely breakfast together.
One of the highlights of our stay was the outdoor fire pit. We spent a wonderful evening roasting marshmallows and sharing stories with the kids, making lasting memories under the stars.
Our host was incredibly nice and friendly, always available to answer our questions and ensure we had everything we needed. Their hospitality truly made our stay special.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience at the farmhouse and can’t wait to return! Highly recommend it for families looking for a peaceful and enjoyable retreat.
- Ellen (10/5): A wonderful haven for us and our dog. - The River House was beautifully clean and welcoming and you can tell the love and care that is put into the cabins. We loved the spa bath and the bed was really comfortable. A big highlight for us was our dog friendly the property is. Our dog, Tilde had a wonderful time meeting the other dogs on the property and swimming in the river. We were left dog bowls and blankets for her and provided with soy milk, bread and cereal for us on request as we are vegan. Our hosts were so warm and I can't wait to come back again and bring friends.
- Mark (10/5): Beautiful stay. will come for longer next time. - Just an amazing place in every aspect. loved it and will return.
- Seema (9/5): A peaceful and welcoming stay. - Peaceful, spotless retreat with a warm and friendly host who made us feel right at home. We especially loved meeting their sweet dog, Penny, who added a special touch to our stay. They even shared fresh silver beet from their garden – such a generous and thoughtful gesture. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway! Nothing

- Mary (10/5): I had such a lovely stay, cabin was perfect. Just loved it! Only thing was I had to leave early and I could have stayed - Staying on a farm. Peace, no traffic noise! Spa, breakfast options, comfortable bed, lots of natural light in the cabin. Everything really clean. View overlooking river. Nothing
- Margaret (10/5): A tranquil, quiet, comfortable getaway - The ambience of The Dairy is perfect for relaxation, surrounded by fields, with birds and cows in the distance. The night sky is immense with stars, sitting around the fire. The property was open, breakfast is provided and close to Maffra for a visit and meander around a small village
- Deana (9/5): - the setting was fantastic. peaceful. close to town. would stay again.
- Xiaoyun Deng (9/5): Very nice, peaceful and we had huge fun with walking dog around and had bonfires at every night. - We stayed at this property for two nights during a weekend, the host is super friendly. he sent us an email before our arrival informing about do’s and about his two dogs! .Upon our arrival, he almost instantly came to the unit and provided food , including two big full jars of fresh full cream milk, a variety of cereals, fresh individually packed bread, and also fire wood! Nothing. It was really an enjoyable country living experience.
- Caldow (9/5): Peaceful retreat - If like the countryside you will like Abbington.
- Edmund (10/5): - One of the best farmstay I have experienced in Australia; the property is nestled on a vast acreage of farmland with a river frontage for the River House; we had an authentic feel of staying on a farm; Diana and Bernie were fantastic hosts who made us feel at home; resident dogs, Penny and Nova, entertained us and even acted as tour guides for us to see the camels and the river in the property; clean and spacious house with adequate kitchen and toilet facilities including a sizeable jetted tub; panoramic scenery and picturesque sunset and sunrise views around the house that can be appreciated from the huge deck; I would love to come back to this homestead with my family again one day!
- Peter (10/5): I’m rebooking for next year - Setting is excellent and accommodation is appropriate- quaint with everything provided for self catering plus those who like a big breakfast will be in their element . Hosts could not be more helpful That I couldn’t stay longer!
