Groot keuze en lekker Italiaanse specialiteiten. Een echte aanrader wat ons betreft. Veel leuke eetgelegenheden in de buurt. De airco deed het niet. De kamer was wel een beetje warm. Het raam kan wel open voor frisse lucht.

Nous avons été très bien accueilli ; le personnel est adorable et la chambre était fonctionnelle et propre. Tout est à proximité de l’hôtel : train, métro, commerces, restaurant, centre historique de Rome. Le Colisée est à quelques minutes à pieds ce qui permet d’y retourner à plusieurs reprises en cas de coup de cœur.

- Frank (8/5): Goed hotel voor redelijke prijs op centrale locatie - Ondanks het oude gebouw, is alles netjes opgeknapt. Het is schoon en rustig. Koffie en thee op de kamer zou fijn zijn. Maar er is een automaat op de onderste verdieping.
- Zuzanna (9/5): Świenty hotel na kilkudniowy pobyt w Rzymie - bardzo dobre śniadania i lokalizacja. - Bardzo dobre śniadania (klasyczny szwedzki stół, ale duży wybór i świeże produkty), wielki plus za kawę z ekspresu i za możliwość korzystania z tarasu podczas śniadań (z widokiem na bazylikę). Nasz pokój był czysty, w bardzo dobrym stanie, świeża pościel i wygodne materace, łazienka niedawno odnowiona. Wystrój hotelu bardzo na plus, podobnie okolica. Nie jest w sercu atrakcji / tłumów , ale nie zabrakło nam miejsc na kawę, wino i jedzenie w najbliższym otoczeniu. Obsługa hotelu bardzo sympatyczna. Pokój był dość ciemny (orientacja plus grube zasłony), ale to naprawdę detal. Domyślam się też że w okresach upałów jest to mile widziane.

- ANASTASIA (9/5): Σε γενικές γραμμές είναι πολύ καλές οι εντυπώσεις - Το πρωινό ήταν πολύ καλό , το ξενοδοχείο πολύ καθαρό , το προσωπικό τέλειο ειδικά ο κύριος στο πρωινό . Ο θόρυβος του μετρό κάτω από το δωμάτιο μας , ήταν πολύ έντονος όλο το 24 ωρο . Η απόσταση από το κέντρο ήταν 22 λεπτά με τα πόδια .

We stayed for seven days and all they did was to change the towels and made de beds. They didn’t even replaced the toilet paper. Three time we had to call the service desk to bring us toilet paper. The property was nice and convenient to the main attractions, including the train station and the Colosseum.

- Caner (7/5): Clean and quiet place with some serious defects - We stayed there in late April for 4 nights. Rooms were clean and it was quite around the facility. There is no AC in the rooms. Room was quite hot (around 26 C) even at nights and we asked if there is any solution. They said there is no AC in the rooms and there is nothing to do. Please consider this if you are planning to book this place especially for summer. Second thing is that the hotel isn't very near to public transportation. Even though it looks close to the main attractions, it is not close to buses and metro.

- SIMONE (8/5): ci ritornerei - staff molto professionale e cortese. struttura molto pulita, in ottima posizione. camera spaziosa e ricca di tutti i comfort possibili. una piacevole scoperta se proprio bisogna fare un appunto, curare un pochino meglio la parte salata della colazione. ma la location davvero da premiare

- Henk (9/5): Prima hotel op centrale locatie - Centrale ligging aan de Via Cavour. Goede bedden. Erg goed ontbijt. Mogelijkheid om op het buitenterras te ontbijten met uitzicht op Santa Maria Maggiore. Kamers werden goed schoongemaakt. Er was een lift. Jammer dat er geen lounge is.

- Dimitrios (7/5): Very friendly staff, good value for money. - Good breakfast. Air conditioning could not be switched to cooling, they could change the mode mid-May. Thus, we had to open the window for the room to cool down.
- Keijo (8/5): Perfect trip to Rome with a good hotel. - Basilica Hotel was really good place to stay. Note the hotel star class, not luxury but good for the class. Location makes it possible to walk to most of the main attractions like Colosseum. We walked 19 000+ steps every day. Main train station Termini is 650 metres away, we took metro from there to the Vatican area. Used another metro line to get closer to restaurant area between Circo Maximo and the river Tiber. Worth exploring. There are good restaurants around. It is worth to explore a little bit to avoid the busiest tourist restaurants and find those used by local people. We booked 2 persons superiour room. It was nice, spacious enough, with a modern handy bathroom, which was also quite spacious. Beds were solid. Room was cleaned every day. The breakfast was nice, enough to eat and peaceful. An outside terrace also. We compared beforehand dozens of hotels and their prices and tried to find something cheaper, but there was always something suspicious and bad reviews in other choices. Stayed four nights. Paid about 280 euros per night in April. I think it was worth money. We had departure at morning, 8 AM. Hotel reception called local official taxi to take to the airport. It came in 4 minutes, and it took 40 minutes to the airport, cost 55 euros. We consireded also taking train 2 x 18 euros but decided not to walk to the station so saved time to eat breakfast before leaving the hotel. Reception was really helpful. There is no thing we can complain. There is a church next door, ringing bells starting at 7 AM. It was more funny than annoying but who knows if you like that or not.
