Pero, cuando lleguéal hotel, la recepcionistame dijo que NO porque la páginala habían cerrado. Booking debe verificar que hoteles prestan servicios y cuáles NO. para no pasar perdiendo el tiempo. • Gabriela (6/5): Es un buen lugar pero si buscas poder dormir bien en al noche, es imposible. - La atención es muy buena y el lugar está muy bien ubicado. El personal es atento y muy amable. Mucho ruido de la calle y de los pasillos. Las puertas de la habitación son muy delgadas y se escucha todo. Las personas entran y salen cómo es lógico pero el problema es que en las habitaciones se escucha todo ese ruido y en la madrugada interrumpe el sueño. La razón de mi viaje fue la media maratón de Cuenca y en la noche necesitaba descargar bien pero fue imposible por el ruido de la calle y porque más huéspedes hacían ruido, un bebé lloraba en la habitación de alado.

Es un hotel sencillo, de arquitectura tradicional cuencana, sin grandes pretensiones pero limpio, ordenado y confortable. Viaje con mi madre de tercera edad y con limitaciones para su movilidad y tanto el hotel en su infraestructura como el personal apoyaron que sea una estancia placentera para ella y para nosotra#.

Preferia cama matrimonial, pero fue un tema de disponibilidad al hacer la reserva, lo entiendo. Sugiero poner un par de botellitas de agua en la habitacion para los huespedes, cuestan centavos y seria un buen detalle que refleja buen servicio y preocupacion.

Usamos una habitación triple, que quizas nos quedó un poco pequeña pero para descansar después de hacer turismo en la ciudad estuvo perfecta! El desayuno es muy bueno y la atención del staff de primera El parqueo tiene un costo adicional al de la habitación pero económico. Lo único de lo que me puedo quejar es que una pared de la habitación (la que estaba pegada al baño) y el techo del baño tenían claras marcas de humedad. Es lo único que podría pedir que mejoren, lo demás estaba muy bien

• CHRISTIAN (2/5): - I got a confirmed reservation but when I showed up yesterday at 3pm after a long trip by land, the receptionist told me there was no room for me. I asked why, she said because they were calling me on the phone and did not answer (?). I got very upset because the lady was not empathetic and would not even apologize and they would not take responsibility to accommodate in another hotel. I had no data in my phone and It was extremely difficult to find another place to stay in a city bursting with people due to the local festivities. I will not recommend this hotel because of their lack of professionalism and empathy in cases like mine. They ruined my vacation!

• Andrew (1/5): Bad - Nothing Booking.com said my booking was confirmed but when I arrived I had to wait 20 mins outside as there was no one at reception and then when I finally got someone’s attention they told me my booking was not confirmed at the hotel was full. I had to quickly find new place 10 mins walk away for twice the price.

Hard access to Hotel at night no one on reception waiting outside for long periods trying to get in the building also the room doors are really small
• Amilcar (5/5): Wasted potential. - The property is nice, classic vibe and it’s really well located 4 blocks away from the main plaza. The staff is very, and I mean in a serious way, amateur or unprofessional. They are nice people, but they just don’t have a clue of how to manage a hotel. Same person at the front desk has to cook breakfast, open the door at the hotel and check in or out guests at the same time. For real. Bedroom lighting is bad and uncomfortable for the eyes, and having no windows in any room that is a must. The beds and pillows are honestly some of the worst I slept in years, and I’m not a picky person, but they are just cheap and bad. You can’t have anything to drink because they are just not prepared at all. Not water, not a beer, not coffee, just nothing. The breakfast is bad too, it’s like a minimalist plate of fruit. Like 2 slices of banana (yes, honestly 2 slices), 3 bites of watermelon, and 4 small bites of papaya. And that was literal. Scrambled eggs and a poor quality coffee. It’s bad. The building could make a nice little hotel, but the problem is the management and the choices they make.

• Ronda (8/5): - The hotel has a lot of charm and a good location. It was clean and the shower water was hot (something not to take for granted in Ecuador). We had a billing issue that was resolved quickly with the help of our tour guide. We appreciated the hotel owner’s prompt response. The only issue of note was that the WiFi was not very good, it worked in the common areas but not very well in our rooms. Overall, a good experience.

• Daniel (8/5): Cuenca Newbie - It was a very cute & quaint hotel right in the city center. No AC in the room though. Luckily it doesn’t get too warm there so it wasn’t that much of an issue. My shower never got hot water so had to shower in my friends room.
