From check-in, to lunch and morning breakfast, the quality of the service and food was excellent. The staff were engaging and couldn't seem to do enough as every request filled with a smile and "certainly, not a problem". From breakfast with Millissa and Oliver to drinks at the bar with Natalie (hope I got that right) the employees made the atmosphere warm and genuinely enjoyable. Our room was clean and comfortably furnished. They have 11 individual rooms over the resturant and bar, however we never heard a sound from either.

My wife and I had the fillet. It was cooked exactly as we requested. The hostess, the server, was exceptional and can not rave enough. The room was beautiful. A very majestic feel and look.

Our room was a perfect blend of historic charm and modern comfort, and was absolutely spotless. But the real standout was the staff. They exuded a genuine warmth and professionalism that made us feel completely welcome and well-cared for. Even for a short one-night stay, The Washington House made a huge, positive impression. We can't wait to come back for a longer visit!

Our room was large with a roomy modern bathroom. Everything was top notch. The location was central to sites of interest we wanted to visit. I definitely recommend a stay at The Washington House Hotel. It's historic, lovely, and everyone was friendly and eager to please.

The value of a the breakfast package with their homemade scones plus the option to dine at night with some of the best food in the area was a great combination for my trip. Keep up the good work!

• I7467QUchriss (10/5): Songwriter's Heaven - I spent four nights there at a songwriter's workshop. The staff, the thoughtfulness was exceptional. It seems this place took all of Gordon Ramsey's advice on Hotel Hell to heart. The care and preservation shows at every turn. It has a very long history. We all agreed no complaints. My wildest dream would be to repeat the whole experience all over again. And with the Theatre right next door... WOW!! They need to add a piano back to the scene is my only criticism, I didn't get to bring mine.

We also stay over when we have multiple nights in a row seeing shows at the Theater as well. The hotel is always nice and clean. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The staff in the hotel, at the bar, and in the restaurant are all friendly and professional. The room was immaculate. Dinner in their restaurant was crazy delicious. Just a great package of this fine old hotel and the music venue literally yards away. OK, one thing. Wish the bar had stayed open for a drink after the show. But I would def do this again.

For an older building, the Washington House Hotel is well maintained and is very clean and comfortable. We also had tickets for the Sellersville Theatre and decided to spend the night…SO glad we did. The King Suite room was beautiful, our dinner was fantastic and we truly appreciated the little touches like personalized menus wishing us Happy Anniversary and all the waitstaff congratulating us as well. We’ll be back very soon and my new go to gift for family & friends is going to be gift certificates for the hotel and restaurant.

The rooms are extremely clean. The food both in the restaurant and bar are outstanding. If you are ever in the area, try to catch a show at the theater. Book yourself a stay right next door at the Washington House. You will enjoy the stay,
• atllam (10/5): - Had a wonderful one-night stay at this lovely hotel and restaurant. Food and service were both excellent. Our entrees, salmon and roast pork paparrdel pasta(sp?) were both outstanding. Only complaint about the food is the watermelon and cucumber salad was too bitter. Even the sweetness of the watermelon couldn't defeat it. Our Queen basic room was very nice, especially the bathroom. The only thing it lacked was a bathroom night light. Having to cut on the light switch to see and be rudely awakened in the middle of the night is never fun. And, for the first time in a long time, I forgot to bring my own. We stayed here to see a show at the neighboring Sellersville theater and will most definitely be returning when another can't-miss act like The Slambovian Circus of Dreams comes along.

My boyfriend and I stayed in King room three it was lovely! The pillows were exceptional, the layout of the room was nice, there was even a beautiful little, semi circular sitting room off to the side, the shower was modern and clean, we ate at the restaurant and my boyfriend had the salmon and I had the filet mignon and it was probably one of the best meals we’ve had together in the past five years. I would highly highly recommend this place.

• 522connork (10/5): Awesome Hotel & Restaurant - I just stayed at this Hotel from Friday to Sunday. Everything about our experience here was superb. I was celebrating a birthday this weekend and I believe it was the manager of the hotel that ensured my girlfriend had a very pleasant birthday dinner and went above and beyond to print out a special menu wishing her a Happy Birthday. The room we stayed in was clean and modern. The restaurant itself was also very good. The food was VERY good and the kitchen even cut our meat up into pieces which I thought was very convenient for us. Unlike a typical hotel, I felt we were treated with respect in both the Hotel part and the Restaurant as soon as we walked in. While this is a multiple story hotel with lots of steps, it is certainly ADA accessible and has a small elevator. I guess my only real possible complaint is parking. While we were fortunate to be able to snag a spot both Friday/Saturday, parking does seem quite limited. They do put up signs in a few of the spots FOR hotel guests but I can see this problematic if people come in multiple cars or restaurant customers just claim a spot for themselves. Doesn't seem like any sort of enforcement of these spots exist. So all in all, give this place a shot. A good local place to stay if your looking to visit the nearby attractions or even for a night if your traveling far. I would definitely come back here again!

• jennifereQ1886FZ (10/5): Wonderful hotel and stay! - We stayed for a family event and had 3 rooms. Everything was perfect. The staff are wonderful!! The hotel has a great vibe - friendly, interesting, well maintained, and everything was comfortable and spotless. A plus was a common area where we could hang out with our adult children. Baskets of different snacks were a real treat. The restaurant is excellent, and selecting breakfast options the night prior made for very speedy service in the morning. We will definitely stay again.
• sidmarcella (8/5): Great find in Buck's County - The reception desk stayed open just for us- we were a late arrival and were so tired and relieved that someone was available to rent us a room. The hotel is a grand old charmer in beautiful little Sellersville. Amenities like snacks and water were an added bonus, as was a sitting room to plan the day. Breakfast was served in the restaurant and was just what we needed t start the day. Very clean, very nice. Bed was a bit small but that worked out OK. Overall very nice place we would definitely stay again
• kathykB3602QC (10/5): Wonderful experience!!! - My friend and I stayed at the Washington House the night of 4th of July. It was a wonderful experience! The whole place is beautiful. So clean! The room was lovely. The shower was so modern. All the staff were polite and helpful. We didn't get there until about 9 PM, but were met with a very polite and helpful staff member (sorry, forget her name.) who showed us around. Also, loved having the continental breakfast in the Tavern. My grandson now lives around the corner. Plan to be back, and take advantage of going to the Sellersville Theatre too. Thank you!

We did the dinner package ... A great bargain. Breakfast was great, got to sit in the restaurant and be attended by a server. Overall... Perfect.
• S2641FEjohnm (10/5): We had a lovely stay at the Washington House Hotel! - We stayed at the Washington House Hotel overnight when we attended a show at the Sellersville Theater. We arrived a little early (45 min). The lady who checked us in (Olivia) could not have been nicer! She showed us to our room and gave us a quick tour. We unpacked and went down to their restaurant for dinner. We opted for the room/dinner package ($50 off your dinner bill). The service (Ellie) was top notch, and the food was very good! After a short walk, we enjoyed the show at Sellersville Theater. Then, back to the hotel for the night. Next morning we packed up and went back to the restaurant for breakfast. You fill out a request form for your choices for breakfast and leave it outside your door the night before. The service, again, was top notch! The hotel was very nice, there were complimentary treats in the lobby, parking was free and close by, and the hotel people were wonderful!
• 487alana (10/5): No need to leave The Washington House has it all covered. - We have been to the Washington House Restaurant a few times before while visiting family in the area. This time we booked a room in the hotel as well. The accommodations were very nice, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant have an intimate," old time " ambiance. The dinner service was excellent and the food was well prepared and presented, except for a bit too much salt seasoning in my Beef Tenderloin. To sum it up, our one night stay was very enjoyable and extremely convenient. Our breakfast order was submitted the evening before, and was waiting for us at a reserved time and table the next morning. Great service!
• DizzyDad (10/5): A rare gem - In a world where identical-looking hotels can be found on the edges of industrial parks from coast to coast, this glorious old-fashioned hotel is worth a special trip. I stayed there on my way through from Minnesota, and now my wife and I are already talking about finding a way of coming here again to spend a couple of nights in these grand surroundings. My room is beautifully furnished and lavishly equipped. The restaurant downstairs is extraordinary as well. The kind and attentive staff made me feel like a valued guest. Musicians with national reputations perform next door at the Sellersville Theater.

We had 3 adults sharing the king suite with sofa bed and it worked out just fine. Small fridge in the side table. There was a cute guest lounge, stocked with fruit and other goodies. Parking was easy in the adjacent lot.

Hotel staff was very friendly and informative. Being so close to the Sellersville Theater is certainly a plus and enjoyed that as well. I highly recommend this hotel and the theater.

The view from the top, that you see in the picture, has the 3 large windows on all 4 sides. I took turns moving from sofa to chair so I could enjoy the view from all 4 directions. I couldn’t recommend it more highly. Just as important, the staff was very friendly, and most helpful. I encourage everyone to treat yourselves to this delightful hotel.
• Elizabeth (10/5): Cozy hotel with delicious food - Nice staff and cozy hotel with beautiful restaurant downstairs. Loved walking over to the theater for an evening show after dinner! My birthday dinner was perfect… food was 10/10 and it was very special to make a personalized menu for me. Get there before dinner rush/showtime to be able to park in the lot, limited spots. Overall, would definitely recommend! Thanks!
• bluescrossroad (10/5): Get to know this area of Bucks County - This was my fourth visit and my daughter's first. Again, we enjoyed everything--the ambiance, the food at the restaurant (including breakfast), the service, the location. Great walking trails across the street. Most of all, the people who staff this hotel are incredibly friendly, care about where they work and their clients. Will return.
• Ariel (10/5): Great stay !! - My boyfriend and I had a very comfortable and pleasant stay at the Washington hotel in Sellersville Pennsylvania. We came for a concert at the Sellersville theater, and stayed at the hotel, which is on the same block. It was super convenient to check into the hotel, rest for a bit, and then go to our concert, and then walk home to the hotel for a good nights sleep. The Washington hotel is a great choice if you’re staying in the Sellersville area. Breakfast was really lovely.

Chef Kevin came out to tell us about it! Very well done here! Hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Sellersville. A lovely town with exceptional history.
• SunshineIsGreat (8/5): Overall nice, great room! - We enjoyed the tower suite (room 11). The 3rd floor of the suite was our favorite spot to sit and relax. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room was clean, but carpets could be replaced. We had the dinner package which made the price very good. I had the salmon with risotto- very good. My wife had the sirloin steak with potatoes and green beans which were nicely done but very, very salty. We both had the broccoli cheddar soup which was also very salty. Would not recommend getting the crustless quiche for breakfast because it was "watery" and was barely warm. Overall, nice experience. We'll go again!

Just the nicest, cleanest, friendliest hotel! The rooms are lovely. Housekeeping is perfect. The bar and restaurant are stupendous. The staff is all wonderful! Jess the bartender is the best. Have I used enough superlatives? Check out the Sellersville Theater. Have a few cocktails at happy hour. Enjoy a great dinner. See a show. Enjoy your room and continental breakfast. We also go to quite a few shows at their concert venue. But we have never stayed in the hotel. We love the staff and always have a great experience. So I was pretty confident that this would be a great celebration for her birthday! IT WAS! The hotel room was beautiful. The added touch of wine and cheese plate that I added was excellent! She felt special and celebrated her special day with great people and no worries of having to drive home. Thank you for everything!!

• Verified traveler (10/5): - We had a great time seeing a concert right next door at the beautiful Sellersville Theater. It was so nice to just walk next door to the historic Washington House Hotel afterward. Originally built in 1819, it has been beautifully restored. Our room was very nice, very clean, and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was very good too! All the staff were very accommodating and friendly. We will definitely return!

Checked in Wednesday, then had a lovely lunch at the tea shop next door. We settled in for an afternoon of reading and relaxing, then on to enjoy happy hour at the handsome bar. Drinks and apps were very good. A lovely meal was topped by a complementary dessert for the birthday guy. Before departing the next day, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast after a run in nearby Lenape Park. I honestly felt like I was on a retreat to renew and restore my tired, cold winter spirit. The two facilities are conveniently located next door from each other. We enjoyed happy hour at the Washington House Hotel followed by dinner in the dining room.
