The entire facility was nice and clean. The size of the pool, however, isn't worth spending time going to.

- elburntraveler (10/5): Beautiful hotel in a small Wyoming town - We checked in and were warmly greeted by the desk clerk. She offered me my choice of rooms. The hotel lobby looks brand new and our room was top notch! I found out that this hotel is 9 years old. Hard to believe. I did some laundry . The cost to wash and dry my clothes was very reasonable. I would recommend this gem to anyone visiting Wyoming. Not too far from Jackson and Grand Teton National Park.

- Sue (8/5): Mostly good except for a snarky clerk. - Most of the staff was amazing, but there was a blonde, older front desk clerk that could use some retraining. She was not wearing a name tag, but she was on during the day. She was snarky and snapped at my grandkids more than once. The whole family was in town to celebrate the birth of our new grandbaby and we had more than one room in the hotel. None of the rooms were big enough for all of us to gather and hang out, so we gathered in the breakfast area at the tables. We asked for trash bags to empty the trash, asked for rags to wipe tables, vacuumed after the kids went up to bed. We kept the kids quiet and contained for the most part, but toddlers do have moments where they are escape artists. The 2 year old took off running down the hall by the pool where there are no guest rooms. An older grandchild chased after him to get him and she yelled at them and told them they were disturbing guests. She gave us dirty looks constantly. Again, we kept everyone contained, the hotel was mostly empty and not a single guest gave us a second look... No one else seem bothered that we were in that area playing card games and visiting. The other desk clerks were kind and didn't seemed bothered, either. The last day my daughter and family was there, they asked for a late check out. She flat refused and said their room was already rented for that night. That was a lie as housekeeping didn't show up on the floor until 3:30 that afternoon. And the hotel was no where near full that night.

As we were checking in we were told to sign a form that no person not staying at the hotel could join the guest in the pool. We’ve done this many times. Totally not cool by new owners. Won’t stay there again in the future as we visit our daughter many times during the year.

- Anita (6/5): - Property was clean. Breakfast was good. It was very convenient location wise. Afton has pretty nice people and staff here didn't look they they were from Afton. Pretty rude and unwelcoming. Such a beautiful establishment but ruined our experience because your staff has no manners and no customer service skills. I will fire them in fraction of a second. Learn some skills from Taylor, MI staff. Go to Colter's Lodge, always the best!

- Tyler (10/5): - This property needs more room for parking! There is not enough room and I advise for somebody to consider expanding the parking lot. Not enough room just for tourists but such as I that travel for work in a service truck. Property management needs to expand this area sooner than later.
- Visalia11 (10/5): Very good choice - This is a modern newer facility located in a very rural setting. We stayed there after a day in Tetons. There was a real good breakfast. Room was in great shape ( except for issue with HC bar by tub) . We enjoyed hot tub. Staff were friendly. Located just off main road through town.

- Douglas (10/5): - I enjoyed my stay. The parking lot was being redone, so getting luggage into the hotel but was a bit more challenging than usual, but other than that I enjoyed my stay. Staff were great and attentive (even put our breakfast 30min early that first morning to accommodate ran early start for my colleague and me), room was comfortable, and breakfast met expectations.

- davidcB8243RR (10/5): Great stay at Fairfield, Afton Wyoming - Wonderful property, great location and great customer service! The woman who checked in was helpful and friendly. Surprisingly it snowed a couple inches overnight. The staff loaned me scraper and brush to clear off my car. I had a very nice sleep the night before.

- MAP12 (10/5): Good "midway" point between Zion and Grand Tetons - I looked for a place between Montana and Zion going through the Grand Tetons and this one came into view on my search. Looked good, so I booked. It was one of the nicer places we stayed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room clean and comfortable. Breakfast above average. It fit our needs with no problems.
- Lawrence5279 (8/5): Excellent hotel. - This is a modern and very attractive hotel in a beautiful location. The room was excellent with microwave and refrigerator. Breakfast and the breakfast room were very good as was the fitness center. The only reason I didn't give them a top score is that when I checked my credit card statement I found that I had been charged $1.56 more that the price which had been quoted when I booked the room. It's not a big deal, but I find it annoying to be quoted one price and charged another.

- familyprince (10/5): Great option outside of Jackson - We found the staff here to be outstanding and very helpful. Room was a nice size and stayed cool in the summer heat, though the bed was near the air conditioning so sleep was a bit cold at night. Impressive view from our room including the Salt River flowing past the back of the hotel. There is a sitting areas outside near the small river to enjoy the area, which was nice. We stayed here because we had a wedding in Jackson and prices there were outrageous. This was about 75 minutes away, but the drive in the summer was not bad and made it a nice option for about $450 less a night.
- K7277VCpatrickh (8/5): Unbeatable Location - This hotel is in a truly beautiful location. The town of Afton is about half a mile away and the property is surrounded by the mountains with a small river out back and a horse farm across the street. The hotel is modern and comfortable although some of the furnishings are beginning to show their age, the couch in my room had a noticeable sag in the center. The rooms are large, clean and quiet. You really cannot beat the location.
