The location right next to the subway (exit 3) is perfect. The covered balcony was nice. Some very unhelpful staff, making the stay unpleasant. A huge, but incredibly hard and uncomfortable bed. The television barely worked (it was grainy), there was nowhere to hang anything other than inside the cupboard. The weights in the fitness centre started from 5kg each, which is considerably more than average dumbbells - why not have smaller ones?

- June (10/5): Exceptional - The location is perfect for the purpose of our visit as it is diagonally across the Suzhou Culture and Arts Centre, about 3 minutes by foot. The Wenhuabolanzhongxin Metro station exit 3 is only 100m away. Gate of the Orient is one stop away on line 1 and it’s very convenient and cheap to travel around on the Metro. The hotel is modern, clean and welcoming. Check in was fuss free and front counter staff was friendly and pleasant. I love the big room with a huge bed. We were upgraded to a room that faces Gate of the Orient and Jinji Lake. Superb view! We had a pleasant and enjoyable stay. Will definitely stay at Novotel SiP Suzhou again if we are coming to the SIP vicinity. Just a suggestion. It would be great if there are some hooks for hanging in the bathroom.

Otherwise it is away from the main part of the cit - Excellent location, part of the convention centre and next to a metro station. The area is modern and neat the lake. Excellent choices for breakfast Poor eating options during the day. Very little English spoken by the reception staff and almost no English by other staff. This made sorting minor issues difficult.

They staff was prompt and services requested were prompt. However, the bedding (sheets and pillows) and supplied toiletries were of poor quality. The bedding was scratchy with uncomfortable pillows. The toiletries were cheap and left the skin dry and itchy. The price did not match expectations.

- zaggy (10/5): - 全体的に綺麗なホテルでした、 チェックイン時に150元追加すれば湖側の部屋にチェンジできると言うので変えてもらいました。 部屋にはガラス張りしてあるベランダがあり、嫌いな夜景が観れました。 朝、ベランダから湖を見ることができましたが、遠くに小さく見えただけでした。でも変えて良かったかな？

- Melissa (8/5): Close to moon bay - Pleasant enough , good location and good sized clean room . The lobby doesn’t really have much . Swimming pool is very nice , good size and nice lightning . Sauna was freezing cold . I would stay here again if wanted to be in that location

- Verified traveler (6/5): 一次被前台接待破坏的入住体验 - 入住体验不佳，我们大约下午两点半左右到达酒店，前台说没有房间打扫出来，在我们等待了两个小时之后，经过数次催促，并且看到无数比我们晚到的客人入住之后我们仍然没有房间，并且几次询问，前台换人也不交接提醒我们再等待，直到忍无可忍，发了脾气才安排好房间，这时候离进店已经过了两个多小时。而且接待对我们一家甩脸色，态度不好，非常让人失望
