Very close to everything and quiet at the same time. A nice and professional host, easy to keep in touch with, shared some nice tips for places to visit - it could not have been better. Cannot but highly recommend! -

• bernard (10/5): Fantastic stay in Bergamo with great host - We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Casa Sofia in Bergamo, hosted by Alessandro. From the very first moment, Alessandro went above and beyond he personally picked us up from the airport, brought us to the apartment, showed us around, and took the time to explain everything clearly. He also gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants and activities, which made our trip even more special. The apartment itself was spotless and extremely well maintained. It had everything we needed: fast WiFi, TV, washing machine, and all the comforts to feel at home. You can immediately see the care and attention to detail. The location is perfect very close to the train station and surrounded by nice restaurants. It’s also ideal if you want to explore northern Italy, as we easily travelled to Milan, Como, Brescia, and Monza. The apartment is also very near the new balance arena for serie A football home to local club Atalanta. We highly recommend Casa Sofia and Alessandro as a host. Thank you for making our stay in Bergamo such a wonderful experience! None to say... A fantastic weekend in Bergamo

Podpowiedział gdzie pysznie zjeść i co pozwiedzać. Wspaniały kontakt. Bardzo blisko do tramwaju, autobusów, 10min pieszo do kolejki Cita Alta. Idealnie jako miejsce wypadowe. Wszystko ok

• Agata (9/5): Pobyt oceniam bardzo pozytywnie, super baza wypadowa i bardzo dobry kontakt z właścicielem. - Bardzo dobra lokalizacja, blisko dworzec, lotnisko, piekarnia, sklepy. Na duży plus transfer z i na lotnisko w cenie pobytu. Bardzo miły właściciel, który wysłał nam polecenia sprawdzonych restauracji. Wszystkie potrzebne rzeczy były dostępne na miejscu w mieszkaniu, możliwość ustawiania temperatury, więc pomimo zimnych dni w mieszkaniu mieliśmy cieplutko. Prysznic już trochę zniszczony i kafelki przy nim brudne, trochę kurzu na ścianach wisiało.

• Alena (9/5): - Alessandro mi ha incontrato alla stazione e mi ha portato all'appartamento, e dopodiché ha anche accompagnato all'aeroporto di mattina presto all'ora stabilita. L'appartamento è proprio bello👍 Che roba, ma ho dovuto soffrire con la porta della doccia :)

• Laura (8/5): Great host, easy transfers! - Alessandro was a great host, he collected us from the bus station when we arrived and dropped us at the airport the next day for our flight at 4am. This made the whole experience in Bergamo much less stressful and enjoyable and gave us more time to explore the city as we didn’t have to try and find the apartment. He also gave good recommendations for restaurants. The apartment is in a quiet block some walk from the centre and old town. It’s on the second floor with stairs so would be more difficult for anyone with mobility issues as there isn’t a lift but was fine for us. Decor is a little outdated but we barely spent any time in the apartment so was ok

• Krzysztof (9/5): Polecam mieszkanie i gospodarza Alessandro. - Mieszkanie bardzo dobrze położone. Wygodna komunikacja. Wszędzie blisko. Alessandro zgodnie z umową odebrał nas z lotniska. To super gość. Rzadko zdarza się taka gościnność i opieka. W związku z tym, że było wcześnie zabrał nasze bagaże do mieszkania, a nas zawiózł na stare miasto (Citta Alta). Zwiedzaliśmy Bergamo i czekaliśmy na info kiedy mamy się pojawić. Po dwóch godzinach kiedy mogliśmy się zakwaterować zaproponował, że nas odbierze z miasta i zawiezie do domu. Po prostu super. Bergamo to piękne miasto, ale też dobra lokalizacja do zwiedzania okolic. My zwiedziliśmy Mediolan, Bressię, Iseo, Lecco, Bellagio, Menaggio i Varennę, pociągami i promami. Korzystaliśmy z biletu na Lombardię "Io viaggio". To rewelacyjna oferta dla aktywnych. W ramach jednego można korzystać z kolei, autobusów, tramwaju, kolei Funicolare i promów na jeziorze Iseo. Pewnego dnia był zapowiadany strajk kolei Alessandro powiadomił nas o tym fakcie, więc uniknęliśmy niepotrzebnych kłopotów. Jeżeli byśmy chcieli wrócić do Bergamo na pewno skorzystalibyśmy z oferty Alessandro. Grazie Alessandro per tutto. Ciao. Wszystko było OK.

• Raluca (8/5): Very very nice owner, clean house. - Near to the center. Big enough for 4 people. Very hot, Portable AC unit only partially functional. The coffe machine also with a little problem, but coffe ok. The towels need to be replaced.
• Petru (10/5): Wonderful Stay in Bergamo with a Fantastic Host - The location was very convenient, being just a short 10-minute walk from the bus/train station and a reasonable 30 minute walk to the beautiful Città Alta. It was also great to have some good restaurants and a supermarket nearby, and the location itself was quiet. The apartment was clean, it had an extra foldable bed and the kitchen was well equipped, including a stove, oven, microwave oven, and a fridge. Also a plus was the gigabit internet. The communication with the host was excellent and the shuttle service was a blessing in the downpour that I arrived in. The building is undergoing renovation work and there are scaffoldings by the windows and some construction noises during the day.

• Rostislav (9/5): Superb - The flat is in a great location – just a short walk to the Città Bassa promenade, close to the train station, supermarkets and restaurants. The building itself is peaceful. The host was kind, and communication with him was smooth and friendly. The kitchen is decently equipped, allowing for easy meal preparation. There was always enough hot water and a good supply of essentials like towels and shower gel. There was scaffolding on both sides, and some construction work was underway. As the work took place during the day, we were mostly out exploring, so it didn’t disturb us. Because of the scaffolding, the flat had little natural light and no view. Still, we understand that buildings need maintenance from time to time, and thanks to this, they will soon be in even better shape.

The flat had absolutely everything one could need- tea, coffee, great wi-fi, kids toys (a great plus for those travelling with kids), shower gel. Next to a square with a good pizzeria and the stores close by. What an advantage over other accommodations in Bergamo: Alessandro was a great help for our stay in Bergamo - he drove us from the airport to the station with a nice car, helped with the bags and offered a return trip as well. This helped us a lot! He also gave us all the recommendations for the places nearby. We loved our Bergamo experience!

The apartment is in a great location, restaurant two doors away, bus stop almost outside the door. Alexandra gave great recommendations for shopping and eating . The apartment was well equipped, warm and very comfortable bed , we did not cook but the basics are there like seasonings and olive oil etc if you needed them. Lovely coffee there too. Construction happening while we were there but did not affect our stay but when complete it will be even more amazing . Definitely book this if it’s available for your stay. Nothing

• Vlad (4/5): Disappointing - The owner has been very responsive and suportive. He offered a shuttle to the airport at 6am which was ourstanding. The appartment is in an old block of flat on 2nd floor without elevator. The block of flats is curently under renovation and has dark court yard and halways. During our stay the inside temperatura was not bearable, 28C degrees at night when outside temperature was 22 There were some mobile air conditioners/fans but did not mamage to cool the rooms therefore we could not sleep well.

We had all the amenities needed to cook meals and relax in the evenings. Big thanks to host Alessandro for making our stay so special! The shower area could use a little deep cleaning. It would be nice to add a ladle and a vegetable peeler to the kitchen equipment.

Many restaurants in the neighborhood. Alessandro is great host! He waited for us at the airport when we arrived and on the day of our departure he dropped us off at the airport again. It's on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator but Alessandro helped with the luggage and there was no issue. The small details such as the toys for our baby made our stay amazing. Alessandro is an excellent host. He picked us up from the airport and drop us off at the train station the next day, he was very kind and willing to help with everything. He also gave great recommendations for food around the apartment. Whether you are a family or solo travelers this apartment will fit your needs. 100% recommend.

He gives good advice on restaurants and places to go. The apartment is well located. It was clean and had everything you needed. Sometimes there may be a few noises coming into the apartment from outside, it didn't bother me, but maybe very sensitive one can be bothered?

Apartment looks exactly like on pictures. It is placed in the heart of Bergamo, but it is really quiet here, so you can easily rest after whole day of sightseeing.

The apartment is extremely comfortable, clean, full of light and air. It looks to an internal yard and is also very quiet although centrally located. There are many fantastic shopping and food places around, and the upper old town is only 10 min by walk. Another 10 min and you are in top downtown or at the train station. The kitchen has everything you may need, even free coffee, olive oil, salt etc. The most important is that the host Alessandro is really a super host! He took us from the airport at midnight upon arrival, and then back again with his car, he was kind, attentive and gave us great recommendations of where to go and what to do in Bergamo! Outstanding job, Sandro!

Hé was very friendly with us and the children, he give us advice about were to eat. if I need to give some feedback is that the beds werent that comfortable for us (but that is also a personal preference).

Alessandro is a wonderful host - very attentative and respensive. He even drove us from and to the airport. If I vist Bergamo again - this apt will be definetely my choice again

The host is super friendly, we had a list of amazing places to get best gelato in town (&it was best!) and restaurants. The host drived us to and from the airport at the exact time established. It was very clean and very well equipped. The neighborhood was also very nice, very good restaurant nearby. Also, the host gave us some really nice suggestions for serving meals. The sofa in the living room is uncomfortable, it may need an upgrade. But it was bearable for three nights.
