- Hans Jörg (10/5): K-Messebesuch - Guter Ort für die Messe in DUS
- Abhishek (2/5): - smelly washroom, no clean air
- Ahmed (10/5): - Aardig personeel, goedkoop.
- Peter (10/5): - Netter empfang hilfsbereites perwonal gerne nochmal hier
- Ahmed (10/5): - Aardig personeel
- Andreas (8/5): - Allesamt gut
- Robert (8/5): - zweckmäßig, alles problemlos. Der Eingang könnte deutlicher gekennzeichnet sein.
- Udo (8/5): - Gut ist die Nöhe zum HBf KR.
- Kofi (8/5): - De accomodation itself was good. The carpet might be a little bit old and can be renewed. The hygene is decent.
The room is spacious! Which is the best part and the personal and guests were very nice.
The neighborhood needs some getting used too, but after that you'll find the people to be nice.
- Serena (8/5): - Close to the station and trams. Lots of roadworks going on when we were there but wasn’t an issue. Comfortable bed and good shower, fine as a base. Walk into the centre of town for a proper breakfast. Checked in online and was emailed the code, no hassle.
- ADRIAN (10/5): - Todo ok.
- Jarmila (8/5): - Clean, practical and economy rum. Dog friendly. Would benefit from better marking of the entrance from the street and better system of parking allowing to leave the garage during the stay.
- Teus (8/5): - Kamer netjes en schoon. Eenvoudig maar prima bed.
- suep658 (10/5): Budget hotel but still ok - It is what it says . IBIS budget. I have no complaints . Check in was easy. Room was clean with a comfy bed. Bathroom perfectly fine.
Located a hop skip and jump from train station and tram stop. Great for one or two nights. Although basic it suited our needs
- vagabundo84 (8/5): Good for the price - Nice location near station
gentle people
clean rooms
minimun for breakfast but it s ok
parking on the back side but for 6,5 € for 24 hours
it was a nice short stay for low budget
No restaurant only some automates
- msiddeek70 (6/5): Mr. M. Khedr - Rooms and toilet are very small
Very difficult to find anyone in reception
Check in procedure is tedious
Housekeeping refused to clean the room after 10 AM
Just good location to the train station
Price is fair
- 123valueformoney (2/5): Terrible room Air-conditioning not working uncomfortable bed & pillow , Poor customer service -nothing good - We stayed in this hotel for one night on 27th July 2019 .
Thats OK The front door which is coded -locked and no one answered our bell. So we managed to follow some one through the front door ot 2nd floor where the reception is . Waited for about 20 minutes or so until some one came to the reception to check us in . When we went into our room --it was stifling hot . We switched on AC and then went out to dinner . On our return the room was still at the same temperature as when we left .Also we found that the pillows were very thin & not comfortable and one big towel was on the floor in bath room . So we went down to the reception to ask to fix AC , get two more pillows and another towel . The reception was closed and no telephone or emergency contact number there . So we returned to our room and tried to open the window slightly Of course the noise from the station and train was too loud . Could not sleep at all . So if we close the window and it was too ho to sleep or if we open the window too much noise all night . When we left next morning around 11 am --still the reception was closed .
The hotel is a budget hotel but the price was not .
On our return we sent a letter of complaint to Ibis hotel both to their HO as well as to Krefeld budget hotel . No reply received . So sent another letter a few days later --till today we have received no response from Ibis
if you are going to book Ibis Budget Hotel in Krefeld ( Near Messe Dusseldorf ) think again
- clairefP9299SY (2/5): Worst experience with a hotel iv ever had - I emailed this hotel twice to let them know that we will be checking in after 9:30 because that’s when their ‘reception’ shuts. Got there at midnight and you have to use a check in machine which was frozen on an error that a previous customer had caused.
Called all the numbers in the reception area - they all said to call back at 6am. No obvious help point anywhere to get assistance (I have been rudely told that there was a green help button but this was not attached to the machine and looked like a fire alarm so 🤷🏻♀️)
I got charged a fee for the first night from the hotel - which I couldn’t stay at because we couldn’t physically check in. Emailed them on 27/07 to ask for the charge to be refunded and that someone came back to me ASAP because I was £400 out of pocket from having to pay for another hotel plus their fee.
The response they sent me was the most unprofessional and rude thing I have read from a company (pictures of the email attached). Not to mention, they completely missed the point about the check in machine being broke and started banging on about how I didn’t need to pay on the machine (again, fully aware of this, I made it clear I had been trying to check in).
My warning to you - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
- Fearless24937656794 (8/5): Basic but clean - Clean room, A/C worked well. No noise despite being so close to the train station. Very basic (no kettle ) but price I paid was around £45/€50 so I didnt expect much. I would stay here again. FYI cost a taxi from Dusseldorf airport was €55 to make up the word count!
- Smileyoftelaviv (8/5): great place after a long trip - we chose this hotel to rest two nights after a long journey and we were not disappointed. Friendly staff, clean room, great breakfast in the mornings and ease of reach from Dusseldorf airport. The parking facilities are also within easy reach so this makes the hotel a great deal in the area where most hotels were booked for several fairs going on in the vicinity
- mathieuf140 (4/5): Not recommended - Rooms not very young. The ground is stained. A strong smell of cigarette and alcohol. Haughty reception. Impossible to obtain a non-smoking room. They explain me that it is the standard of this hotel?! Not deserving carrying the Accord brand.
- Reiserezept (8/5): NICE CLEAN HOTEL - Nice Hotel closed to trainstation. in the evening you find easy parking nearby. Many great restaurant arround there. Hotelstaff is great and very helpful.Just the name is kind funy. Krefeld is away from Dusseldorf.
- 820grahamg (10/5): Great Location - This hotel is very clean and tidy with excellent facilities, friendly staff and excellent transport links virtually at the front door - hotel is very easy to access any time of day or night - basically an excellent place to stay
- fma337 (4/5): Bad service, room is OK just for sleeping - The people working at the hotel were not nice or helpful. I asked them to help me find somewhere I could order food and they wouldn't, I have them if they could call a cab and they wouldn't... And I heard them being very rude to other costumers. The room was clean and confortable but the bathroom was smelling very bad right from the beginning...
- mf468 (4/5): Rude and unhelpful staff. Breakfast excessively expensive - The room was overall clean, but the bathroom smelled very bad right from the beggining. The staff was rude and unhelpful: they wouldn't help me find somewhere where I could order food for Delivery, or wouldn't call a taxi for me, and I heard them being very rude to other customers. You pay 8,50euro for a breakfast with very limited options, and not even hot water for your tea... I was very disappointed by the services.
- tktraveler2013 (2/5): Bad karma, don't go there - This is a bad hotel.
I'd like to refer to the other reviews for a description of the room etc. and add to them by sharing one experience.
We booked a room for two persons, but thought that we may be able to use it with the three of us, because we saw on the pictures that there is actually a third bed in there. So when we checked in we said that we wanted to book for 3 but couldn't find it. The receptionist who was actually the most unfriendly I've ever had (management may want to check who was on duty on the 27th of April 2017 in the afternoon and fire that person) told us that this was not possible and then added out of nowhere in an awful and disrespectful way that if we nevertheless stayed in there with three people then they would call the police.
One of us stayed in the room because we had no other option, the other two drove back, and I personally would never come back here and would also not recommend it to anyone else.
- stevepH6184PU (2/5): Do NOT book this hotel. - I have been traveling heavily for 10 years. This is by far the most disgusting, horrid place I've ever been. We left immediately after check in. There is no way anyone should ever stay in a place like this unless you are homeless, on crack, or both.
The rooms are stained (carpets, walls) moldy, and reek of cigarette smoke. Cigarette burns in the carpets, beds, etc.
I never even touched the bed. You could not have "double dog dared" me to even sit down in this room.
A Port-a-potty has a nicer toilet and smells better than the rooms at this hotel.
This place looks like a horror movie should be filmed there, or a crackhouse, or both. The city should shut it down.
Luckily I found a Marriott in Bonn last minute. The parking garage of the Marriott would provide a better nights sleep than this place.
Please stay away. For your health and safety.
- D (4/5): Not as I saw on the internet - The hotel was not as I saw on the internet. Again no kettle, no telephone and the reception doesn't open at all times. Imagine if you have an urgent need.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Der Check in gestaltet sich sehr umständlich!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Prima hotel.
- Mark (10/5): Basic but very clean hotel - The hotel offers beautifully clean, very basic rooms and is perfect for a good night's sleep but don't expect many amenities.
- GOPALKRISHNA (8/5): good - It's more than worth of money in this city better than any hotel but limited services.
- loic75015 (4/5): Booking issue - I booked a room for 2 nights per internet. I arrived on the 5th on April at 11pm. For late arrivals, there is only a computer that delivers the code to open the door of the room; i.e. there is nobody from the hotel to help you if needed. The computer had a bug, so that I've never been able to get my room (but my 2 colleagues that were travelling with me and booked for one night only could get their access codes). The only solution was to buy another room for one night. I explained my issue the day after at the reception ; another lady was there and had exactly the same issue. But we were told it was our fault and didn't get reimbursed! So be careful!
- Lodewijk B (4/5): Formule 1 like hotel - I wasnt aware what kind of hotel this is. Its setup is like the Formule 1 hotels along the highways in France. It just a very simple bed, with a place to shower. I just went aling with the Ibis brand and did not well what was offered.
- Riga_sailor (6/5): Hotel for smokers - All premises have smoke odor. Car parking 6,50 Eur (with discount) - not cheap, but inside hotel, few meters from reception. Discount available only by presenting parking ticket to reception during working hours.
Otherwise - good budget hotel with very good location.
- CiprianF_12 (4/5): Budget... Low budget, low hotel - The hotel is right next to the train station, in Krefeld. When you exist the station, just turn right and go for about 200 meters.
I first reached the room to realize an awful and strong smell coming from the toilet, like it just been used by someone. Because it was, minutes before I entered.
In the room was a strong smell of cigarette smoke. I had to block the toilet door to stay opened and to leave the room window open for 1 hour in order to ventilate the room and toilet.
The room itself is not so bad, but the feeling there is that you are in a train compartment, with the shower and toilet wrapped in plastic.
I met only one person, the receptionist. In the morning, the breakfast, which was average, had to be eaten by hand, because they had no forks or spoons, only knives.
While I had breakfast, a young man from Korea was desperately trying to print his air boarding pass, but was refused by the receptionist, because of the "internal rules".
I made my idea. I won't go there again.
- damimx (2/5): Dirty hotel - I chose a budget hotel because I did not want to pay more for fancy room just for a weekend, however, I did not expect it to be like this. Everywhere is dirty and smells bad(room, elevator, corridor) but specially the shower room. Think twice about booking this hotel, specially if you travel with kids.
- Karlijn47 (2/5): Hotel - This month I slept in this hotel while my partner was in the hospital. It's a very bad hotel !! The room was very small and the worst thing: after visiting the hospital I was very tired and just wanted to sit down. There is no chair in the room to relax. The breakfast was so bad, the 2nd morning I eat my breakfast in the hospital. After 2 nights I checked out and went to an other hotel !! Never again !!!
- viajopordinero (6/5): An ibis budget... you know what you book... - It's very close to the train statin and if you book with time you can get a double room for less than 45€ per night.
The reception is almost always close, that's a problem. There is not key, you must rememember de code to open the doors.
As other ibis budget, small rooms with carpet. A big bed and over it another smaller. There's not wardrobe. The bathroom are two small plastic spaces, one is the shower and ther other the toilet. the sink is in the room.
In sum, no surprises.
