Catherine (8/5): Comfortable and enjoyed our visit. - Very clean. Beds were super comfortable. Two baths were a plus. Layout was good. We appreciated the coffee/tea bar and cookies and the kitchen area. Loved the heated floors and towel rack in bathroom. Just a couple of suggestions- It would have been helpful to have someone to talk to upon arrival. We did not hear back when we sent a question. 2 small things- a small shelf in the bathroom would be very helpful- and wash cloths. Also, to let in more natural light in the front bedroom, blinds on the bottom half of the window would allow light without exposing occupants to the traffic who could see inside. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay!

ivan (7/5): lovely location, spacious apartment, the courtyard /garden would have been a bonus in warmer weather - location excellent, minutes walk to center of Stow; very spacious rooms , well kitted out rooms, very spacious underfloor heating worked like a dream .. lovely courtyard - too cold to sit out - would be wonderful in the summer ! - There is a known scam (reported on BBC R4 Your and Yours) where hackers have accessed Booking.com systems; Booking therefore state only to pay via their website or as per instructions on their website in the property information; Unicorn's booking info stated payment would be processed at the property on arrival; I received a message from the property asking for payment before arrival; I thought this was a scam - but was told there are no staff to take payment at the property - this has to be done before arrival; If i did not pay before arrival - i would not receive the entry codes; This was resolved but Unicorn need to amend the booking information to state there is no reception - payment cannot be made at the property; - when we arrived the entry code did not work; had to wait about 45 minutes at around 5pm for somebody to arrive to sort it; he was very helpful but this was not a new problem - it was known about the day before; for the price we are paying i would have expected it to have been resolved by the time we arrived ; - No dishwasher tablets to do the dishes /wash the cutlery - the Apartments are on the main road - on a junction - so early morning rush hour is noisy with revving busses and trucks driving away from the traffic lights ; bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.. and your apartment is by the Junction ; we were in the Bourton apartment ; stairs to the apartment full of bird droppings; - alarm on the lamp came on at 5am - should have been disabled or lamp provided without an alarm .. - apart from sockets in the kitchen area, all other sockets in main living space hidden behind furniture

LATIF (1/5): Misleading listing, unsafe payment pressure, dirty room and terrible host attitude - nothing. One of the worst places I have ever stayed. The listing says “No prepayment needed – pay at the property” and also mentions reception/24-hour service, but this is very misleading. After booking, the host pressured me to pay through a third-party payment link and implied that I would not receive access instructions otherwise. I did not feel safe entering my card details through an unknown link, so I paid through the official “Pay Now” button on my Booking.com confirmation page. Even after showing my Booking.com confirmation and credit card statement, the host claimed they had not received the payment and treated me as if I was lying. A professional host would simply say, “I cannot see it on my side, please contact Booking.com,” instead of using accusatory language. I am a Genius Level 3 user and have never experienced such an attitude before. There was no real reception. Check-in was through a long, confusing message. Reaching the room involved several stairs and walking under a very low roof where you have to bend your head. The cleanliness was unacceptable: the bathroom smelled of urine, the floor had urine stains, and there were spider webs on the ceiling. I added photos. The next morning, the shower had only boiling hot water, so it was impossible to use. I had to wash my hair in the kitchen sink. My advice: do not stay here. Read the one-star reviews carefully before booking.

Paula (9/5): Perfect for two nights with our adult daughter and a great base for exploring the Cotswolds - Soft bed and pillows, tasteful decor and furnishings(apart from the purple cushions and curtains), large rooms, very old character filled building with modern refurbishment, convenient location and parking. Loved the fresh posy of flowers on the kitchen table and body lotion in bathroom. Purple cushions and curtains seemed at odds with the French provincial style. Some of the fake flower pots also detracted from the otherwise tasteful decor. The main bedroom shower head had very fine patchy water flow
Helen (8/5): A very nice place to stay - The accommodation was very well located and in a very picturesque township. The apartment was very spacious, clean and well stocked with crockery and utensils. Although I couldn't find a potato peeler so luckily I had taken my own one. The beds were very comfortable. There were welcoming drinks, consisting of two small bottles of wine and a tin of sparkling water, including some milk, coffee, tea and sugar. There was a decent amount of private parking across from the accommodation and the apartment was very quiet and peaceful. It was lovely to look out of the kitchen window in the morning across the rooftops to the church. All in all, we had an enjoyable stay. There are a lot of stairs to get to the property so it wouldn't be suitable for older people. We had a lot of heavy luggage and it was very hard to carry it up so many flights of stairs with twists and turns so we were all a bit puffed out, but put it down to getting some good exercise :-). There were no wardrobes in either of the bedrooms to hang clothes so we hung a couple of things on the clothes hook on the bedroom door..
tailor (10/5): - Everything was excellent, including the location , facilities, amenities everything. Would definitely recommend . The only thing which I feel should be improvised is the check in check out time, obviously if someone going till there to stay would demand a longer stay or check in -out time to be reasonable, However we reached early in the morning and the host Ela was very helpful and she allowed us to leave our luggage early and the next day she also insisted us to stay as long as we could, that was very kind of her and I am grateful for that, but looking at the property anyone should obviously get more of the time to stay in the property.

David (10/5): Such an amazing get away - Outstanding place. The host Ela is so welcoming, and the check in access codes were incredibly detailed. Plus you get free private carpark included in the price. The place itself is incredible home from home incredibly specious plus Nespresso machine with pods which was a bonus for us a little bar treat. Can’t praise it enough. Cannot wait to return. Value for money and immaculate.

The apartment was beautifully decorated, comfortable and very clean and having a parking spot made life so easy. Wendy (7/5): Good location for Stow & Cotswolds, but tricky for people with mobility issues - Very large space, complete with all required for stay. Great location. Very comfy beds and bedding. V secure Some of the areas (bathrooms) cleanliness did not warrant a top score. The apartment was adjacent to the main A road and the retro-fitted double glazing did not adequately counter the traffic noise. Small thing - but to make the kettle work, we had to weight down the 'on' switch with a plate! Not accessible to persons with limited mobility, due to stairs, including steep external stairway.

We stayed in the Bourton apartment. Just a heads up for those with babies and pushchairs, it was extremely challenging navigating the steps upto the apartment.

Neil (10/5): Glorious. We had a fantastic short break. - Not only was the apartment well equipped, well furnished and well finished it can with car parking as well. Given how busy it is in Stow having this option removed all the stress of finding somewhere to park the car. Nothing really.

The apartment we stayed in was very airy with good amount of natural light coming in. It has some walking and climbing stairs from car park to apartment.

Toyin (8/5): Great for a short stay - Great property and lots of space for a two bedroom option. Lots of amenities close by for any provisions but the space is well equipped. We arrived and it was like a sauna unfortunately- we had to throw the windows wide open and had an uncomfortable night’s sleep. If you are noise sensitive, this may not be the best accommodation as you can hear the footsteps of visitors in the accommodation above. We were woken a couple of times during the night as a result of this but recognise this is likely due to the age of the property.

Margaret (10/5): Stunning Apartments 10 out of 10 - Outstanding Apartment. Very specious, wooden floors throughout with underfloor heating. Large dinning table, two sofas available. We had twin beds in our second bedroom for our children which we didn’t request but was a bonus. All the amenities you need for cooking. Very comfortable beds. Spotlessly cleaned. Amazing facilities, great communication private carpark included. Value for money. Highly Recommended!!

Tom (7/5): Great location for everything we wanted to do. - Location was great, the town itself is beautiful. Having a designated car park was a god send as it was so busy everywhere. People in neighbouring apartments were very noisy, they were not noisy late into the night but shouting, singing, dancing etc. I think the apartment inbetween us also had a child so they must have found it worse than we did. Only other thing my partner and I commented on was that the apartment didn't feel very homely, it lacked some soft furnishings to make it feel more like a Cotswold's stay.

Payment is done online prior to arrival. Communication with the host was seamless. Private parking. The facility’s is very safe private and secured. We were allowed to have our dog with us which was a bonus for our stay. Value for money.
David (10/5): Exceptional - What a marvellous stay. We attended a 60th's birthday celebration. All the apartments have been booked by the family and friends. They are absolutely stunning and very suitable and specious for the event. Our Apartment had very comfortable beds and sofa, with walking showers. Underfloor heating was a bonus. Our dog was also allowed to stay which was fantastic. Spotlessly clean, luxurious facilities which exceeded our expectation. Staff was very attentive, welcoming and professional. Value for money. Tim (10/5): - Few lads for best mate wedding. Really lash apartment so much space for us to celebrate, Lovely decor and beautifully furnished very modern. Great costumer service, comfortable beds. We were vaping on the corridor and triggered the fire alarm. We seen this fit girl with long blond hair walking to us thinking she was part of the weeding but she came to tell us off. We felt like school boys. We did apologized and she was fine. We later laughed about it and had an awesome time. Highly recommended. Definitely returning. we got told off for vaping in the wrong spot buy the Host and started the fire alarm, but we have apologized and had a smashing time.

Katie (8/5): Location, Location in the beautiful Cotswolds! - Super central location and a great size for a family of 4 people! The apartment exceeded my expectations in terms of size. We had a really lovely 5 night stay and the free parking was an added bonus! The apartment could have been a little cleaner. Mainly just the floors. They had not been been mopped as when we arrived I used a wipe to clean up some water my daughter had spilt and it was dirty!

Samantha (8/5): Nice apartment. Shame about the shower! - Nice location. Comfortable beds. Nice and clean. The shower was terrible. Nowhere to put any toiletries within the shower cubicle, so forced to put them on the floor. Only one (very high) shower head, so not ideal when trying to not get your hair wet. Not much power on the shower and the spray off it points in odd directions. Definitely needs to be replaced.
Maureen (8/5): An enjoyable stay. My party were all in our 70’s. Woulnd’t suite someone with mobility problems. - Self catering. Lovely big kitchen, two rooms with en-suite. Big lounge. Heating can be controlled for each room. Secondary double glazing reduced the noise from the road. Mattresses too soft and uncomfortable. Leather sofa looked good but too soft and uncomfortable. No downstairs toilet. Iron provided but no ironing board. Not enough dishes or cutlery; no washing up liquid either, therefore dishwasher had to go on after each meal, usually more than half empty. Page missing about the WiFi from an otherwise helpful brochure. No response from contact number provided to get WiFi code!

It is very upscale high market place and value for money for what you get. Best central location, safe and secured, lots of space and private with no noise from above as is no other rooms above you. Cleaned and comfortable. Stunning furniture and decor. Great WiFi , private carpark included. The Apartment has everything you need for self catering to include cocktail makers and Nespresso machine with pods included. Brilliant communication with the Host. We had a fantastic stay. Highly Recommended.
Oliver (10/5): Remarkable place - Impressive apartment, captivating view, stunning décor and extremely comfortable. Excellent facilities with en-suite x2 showers and 2 baths for a 2 bed apartment quite remarkable. Very cleaned. Check in was seamless, everything is very IP tech soon as payment is made you get access to the property. Free Carpark was a bonus for us not to mentioned extra Nespresso pods offered. Great communication with the staff whom were very attentive. Value for money and we will definitely return.

It was not a problem for us as we came with small luggage, and my parents are in shape, but good to know the access is with narrow stairs. Also, the shower has only a static shower head.

We will be back! . - Stunning, warm (important to me!) apartments which are super spacious and well equipped in the perfect location . The beds are incredibly comfortable too! Can be a bit noisy with guests above and people outside, but the latter to be expected in a central location and we had our window open a bit.
