• Abdullah Farooq (5/5): Uncomfortable bed. - Decor was fine. Bed was extremely uncomfortable and I slipped off it few times during the night. There was no onsite parking for the hotel so I had to park 5-7 minutes away and then walk back which was big inconvenience.

• Ciaran (8/5): Great staff - Good location and nice rooms, when i had an issue with my first rooms shower, the staff quickly got ke into another room First rooms shower was broken and had to be moved to a second room.
• Linn (7/5): Great location, rooms very clean. Breakfast was a bit cold - Rooms very clean, staff were fine but not overly chatty, gave required information. Location was great for theatre and parking Beds frames were very creaky Although a lot of choice at breakfast, wasn’t great quality.

• Aleksandra (9/5): Good choice for a comfort travel! - Great location (train, bus station, shopping), hearty hot breakfast, warm and clean room, street view, quiet room Friendly staff. Access to the stairs and elevator is by card only - nice from a security point of view. The windows can't be opened, so it's stuffy for those who like fresh air from the window. There's no heated towel rail in the bathroom, so the towels don't dry and you have to ask for new ones, even though the old ones are still perfectly clean. A toilet brush in the bathroom would also be helpful. The internet was often out. Otherwise, everything was fine.

• Hewitt (8/5): Good value for money, comfortable room and tasty breakfast. - The breakfast was well laid out, very tasty and there was a good variety of food on offer. The bed was a bit small and squeaky, but we still had a good sleep.

The breakfast area was just ok to sit in, but the food selection was very good and I think you could sit in the foyer area with your coffee after.

• Simon (8/5): Really pleasant and will book again next time if it's available. It was good value this time. - Smooth check in, comfortable room, and downstairs I like the bar and pool table area. Nice thing when meeting my son who's at uni to play a few frames of pool there over a pint or two, very handy. Very well positioned in central Glasgow and very close to our favourite restaurant Sarti - so very convenient. Breakfast - OK but the bacon had been there a while and was quite hard. The signage wasn't clear (hard to see where milk was when getting tea and coffee). The cups are tiny. But overall, a decent enough breakfast. In the room, there was an issue with the loo flush (Room 106).
• Edina (4/5): - Het ontbijtbuffet was netjes en met genoeg keuze, vriendelijke personeel. Het is een heel oude hotel, met houten vloeren onder de vloerbedekking. Elke beweging van de naaste kamer hoor je. Het lijkt erop dat het hotel een vergaande glorie heeft. Voor het ook lijkt alles mooi en netjes, maar er is een serieuze onderhoud nodig. Helemaal niet kunnen slapen na een lange rit achter de rug. Op deze manier is de prijs - kwaliteit verhouding helemaal scheef.

• Pauline (9/5): Excellent hotel at a good price. - There was a very good choice for breakfast although the bacon was inedible as it was so hard. The scrambled eggs and beans were very good. There was a toaster which was handy. And a waffle maker. I’ve not had that in the UK before. Excellent. Unfortunately no microwave when my waffle went a bit cold. Lovely room with a full size mirror and a nice big shower. Plenty of tea/coffee spares on reception to help yourself. Reception staff were very helpful when we asked for directions etc. Sadly we only had the one night there. My daughter had booked a room separately from myself. I phoned the day before to ask if we could have rooms close by and was told this would be done when we arrived. Unfortunately they were not aware of this when I arrived. They managed to get rooms on the same floor but nowhere near each other. It is a big hotel. This was disappointing. No microwave in the breakfast room. No blankets in the bedroom and we were a bit cold. None of this spoilt my stay though. I would recommend and return.

• Gail (5/5): Will not return ! - Bedside light broken and would not switch off all night . No hot water for the shower in the morning. Sink very slow to drain away also. Room service came into room at 10am despite it being a 12midday check out. No signs to put on door. Carpets in reception and eating area , bumpy and tired looking. Not one member of staff wore a name badge and Ari ( had to ask her name) on reception was disinterested when we made our issues known.
