I stayed here last year when I traveled for a family funeral; when I came back to the area this year, there was no question about where I’d stay. Basically, the place has everything you need and stays out of your way, unless you need something and then they’re happy to help. One of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever slept in. Not fancy but pleasantly decorated. Fridge, microwave, good closet space. Conveniently located near good food options plus shopping for necessities and more (Walgreens, Walmart, gas, post office, and more.) Highly recommended, and I’ll be back.

Reason for the overall low rating is because at check in the young lady made it feel like we were an inconvenience. Not very pleasant or friendly. She provided virtually no information, room number, how to get to the room or if we had any questions. The women at the local Chinese restaurant was more friendly than this employee. She never told us there was WIFI or the password. Hopefully she was an exception to the rule.
William P (10/5): Good bang for the buck. - This hotel seems well kept and clean. The amenities and breakfast fare are simple but that is expected at this price range. Most importantly, the area was quiet and everything in the room worked well.

Marge (4/5): Uncomfortable bed and terrible breakfast. - Our room was clean but the bed was extremely uncomfortable. We ended up leaving a day early with no reimbursement because I had prepaid through hotels.com. This happened because the hotel website and the person who I talked to direct from the hotel was going to charge me one hundred and eighty-five dollars more in fees total!!!! This is ridiculous! The man told me that there are cleaning fees and other charges added. I have never heard of anything like this in a hotel! The breakfast was a joke! One day was cold, stale biscuits with some kind of canned gravy that tasted terrible. There were bagels, tiny yogurt cups and packaged muffins. The second day there were only bagels, yogurt and muffins. No hot food at all! We didn’t stay the third night. We stayed the third night at a much nicer hotel for the same price that had a comfortable bed and a delicious hot breakfast. I will never stay at this hotel again and would recommend that you find another place to stay in the area. I don’t usually give bad reviews but the front desk person said that they have never had a bad review or complaint on the beds or the food. She was of no help. Maybe she could have offered to give us another room with a more comfortable bed? We could have just gone to breakfast elsewhere. That way we wouldn’t have lost over one hundred dollars. We were not nasty about any of this at all. We just told her our concerns & left.

Cheryl (4/5): Poor - We chose this hotel because my daughter got married at Brady's Run Park and it was only 10 minutes away. We live 2 hours away in Ohio so it was also close to the state line. The hotel looks nice when you pull in, but when we got to our room the bathroom sink wouldn't drain and I had to ask for a plunger. My husband said what came out of the drain resembled cockroach pieces. The filter to the AC also had to be cleaned it was very dirty. There were multiple cobwebs along the ceiling above the beds. The worst part was my husband was on bit on his calf by a wolf spider in our room while he was sleeping. Our dog was playing with it and killed it so my husband took it to the front desk. Unfortunately the bite makes you nauseated and gives you gastrointestinal upset along with a mild fever and my daughter was getting married that afternoon. Luckily he made it through the ceremony and dinner before he had to leave to go back to the hotel to rest.The staff that worked at the front desk were nice, the beds and pillows were hard and uncomfortable.

Room are spacious but noisy. Definitely try for an upper floor because you can hear everyone on the parking lot. Only complaint would be the AC. It is very loud and squeaks. You can't choose between AC and heat. It will switch automatically to get you to your set temp...we had the AC turned temporarily to 65° to cool off (90°plus humidity outside). . When we put it back to 70° the heat kicked on.

No problems with the late check in. My room was directly across from the elevator and I was afraid it might be noisy but I didn’t hear a thing at night or in the morning.

What a life saver! Beside that, the hotel was clean, located in a nice area, the front desk was very pleasant, and the continental breakfast was presented nicely. Several nearby restaurants and stores, but the location of the hotel is quiet. The only area that needs improvement is breakfast. Lots of carbs - bagels, cereal, toast, waffles, on Friday. On Saturday and Sunday they added biscuits and gravy and blueberry muffins. The waffle batter was so watered down the waffles were terrible. We didn’t have our dog on this trip, however they do allow pets for a $50 fee. I would stay here again -just wish they would improve the breakfast so we didn’t have to go somewhere else to eat.
Verified traveler (10/5): I would choose this over higher-star properties - I have stayed four times, and I’m a fan. I usually stay at hotels with high ratings (both reviews and the 5 star hotel rating system), and although this place is simple and there are very small things that may bother some (stained grout, for instance), this hotel is clean and very quiet. The staff is friendly, and the breakfast options are simple but adequate to get the day started. Beds are comfortable, and the shower water is always hot. Recommend!

Walter (6/5): I won’t stay there again - There was terrible vibration and humming noise the first night and was unable to get good sleep. In morning I found out that the A/C wall unit for the hallway was running constantly due setting was 60 degrees. The following night I turned it off and stopped the noise. The bed was pretty hard compared to other places we stay. The breakfast was disappointing all they had was waffles and some bagels. I didn’t like that they had political shows on the TV, the employees should keep their opinions at home.

Verified traveler (4/5): Don’t expect much. - The hotel was very underwhelming, the free breakfast was genuinely terrible, beds were uncomfortable and even though we got a suite, they were empty of simple commodities you could expect anywhere else… like cups… nothing. Even asked the front desk if they have drinking glasses for water etc and they offered plastic coffee cups. So overall, it was just a bare minimum room to sleep.
