• Martin (8/5): Goed hotel voor een nacht aan de Amalfi-kust - Prima hotel voor stop langs de Amalfi-kust. Rustig gelegen aan de buitenkant van Vietri sul Mare. Schone, ruime kamer met goed sanitair. Openslaande deuren naar het balkon voorzien van een zitje. Hotel ligt direct aan zee, met fraai uitzicht vanuit de kamer/balkon. In ons geval richting de haven van Salerno met al het uitgaande en binnenkomende scheepvaartverkeer. Leuk om te zien. Gratis parkeren op straat voor het hotel, wat een unicum is aan de Amalfi-kust! Ook goede ligging om Vietri weer te verlaten richting Salerno of Napels. Het hele hotel ademde een sfeer van voorbije tijden. Ik ging zo terug naar de jaren 1970/1980. Ook het restaurant/ontbijtruimte wekte de indruk alsof de tijd had stilgestaan. Zelfs de gespeelde achtergrondmuziek daar was uit die tijd! Ik vond het grappig om te ervaren (terug naar de vakanties in mijn jeugd met mijn ouders), maar kan mij voorstellen dat jongere bezoekers dit minder kunnen waarderen. Hotel was verder wel goed onderhouden (binnen en buiten netjes in de verf en zo) en schoon, dus er wordt nog wel degelijk in geïnvesteerd, het was meer de aanblik an sich.

Meu quarto tinha uma vista belíssima, com varanda debruçada sobre o mar, mas para chegar ao centrinho da cidade à pé, tem uma boa distância, com muita subida. O estacionamento funcionou muito bem; parqueamos o carro num tipo de terraço do hotel. Na minha opinião, este não é um hotel 4 estrelas. O staff é despreparado. Café da manhã precário, Nós tínhamos ganho uma garrafa de vinho de um hotel-vinícola que ficamos antes de Vietri e pedimos ao restaurante para abrir o vinho para tomarmos na varanda à tarde. Abriram a garrafa com má vontade e se recusaram a nos emprestar quatro taças de vinho ou mesmo copos de vidro. Tomamos nosso vinho em copos plásticos que estavam no quarto. Uma grosseria,

• Jeff (9/5): - The staff was excellent. Cristina was very helpful and all staff were nice. Some rooms and balconies have a stunning view of sea with waves crashing the lower wall. The walk to other restaurants is difficult for visitors without a car. But I knew that in advance and was glad to be there.

• NATHALIE (4/5): - La vue sur mer. On a vraiment l'impression d'être sur un bateau. L'hôtel est loin de tout et il faut vraiment être en forme physiquement pour y accéder. De plus, un anniversaire a été organisé sans prévenir la clientèle et nous n'avons pas pu dormir avant 3 heures du matin. L'hôtel a offert des compensations à certains mais pas à nous. Assez mécontente ! De plus, les lits étaient très étroits et très inconfortables.

• Ale&Anto (8/5): - Il balconcino proprio sul mare, impagabile! Buona la posizione a 10 minuti a piedi dal paese e a 10 minuti dal molo di imbarco per i paesi della costiera. Buona la colazione Il bagno e soprattutto la doccia troppo piccoli! Ogni tanto dal water si sentiva cattivo odore. La porta comunicante con la camera accanto non è ben insonorizzata! Il materasso, ma questo è soggettivo, troppo morbido. Ultima cosa, a pagamento anche le 2 acque giornaliere!

• GUILLERMO (7/5): Balcón al mar - Las instalaciones son buenas, pero habiendo estado en pleno invierno, el hotel está activo en su 50%. La habitación fue cómoda y con un lindo balcon al mar. El hotel en general tiene muy lindas vistas al mar y lo bueno es haber podido dejar el auto en el parking del hotel. El desayuno bueno, también con excelentes vistas. Me imagino que en verano debe ser un lujo al estar todo el hotel en funcionamiento! La atención del señor que estaba al momento del check-in podría haber sido un poco más amable. La señorita que nos acompañó hasta la habitación muy atenta.

• Panarit (3/5): Nichtgenügend! - Absolut nichts Die Dusche und das Zimmer, wenn nicht sogar das gesamte Hotel war unhygienisch und teilweise kaputt oder verrostet. Es war bis um 00:00 laute Musik zu hören. (Neben an Club) Die Wende sind wie aus pape, man konnte eine normale Unterhaltung im Nebenraum mithören! Es waren die unfreundlich Mitarbeiter, die ich jemals in einem Hotel erlebt habe. Es hat damit angefangen, dass sie beim Checkin mir angeboten haben, die Koffer in das Zimmer zu bringen vom Auto dann bin ich mit einer Mitarbeiterin zum Auto gegangen. Am Weg dahin fragte sie schon, ob das Gepäck schwer ist Dann gab ich ihr die leichteste Tasche und ein Sackerl, als ich zurück kam. Zur Rezeption fand ich sie dort ändern, Rezeption und meine Sachen einfach irgendwo abgestellt auf die Frage, ob sie die Sachen schon hinunter gebracht hat sagte sie ja ja, daraufhin entdeckte ich sie eben einfach irgendwo dahin liegend. Dann bot mir ihr Kollege Hilfe an, damit er mit mir in das Zimmer hinunter geht und die Sachen bringt und er nahm einen Koffer von zwei und besetzte den gesamten Lift damit, so dass ich mit dem anderen Koffer und der Tasche, die stiegen nehmen musste, worauf hin ich unten beim Lift im auch den Koffer abnahm und ins Zimmer ging, weil es mir einfach zu Deppert war. Alles in allem war die letzte Nacht auf der amalfie Küste schlecht!

The bathroom had an odor which I believe came from the drain in the shower. It is a seaside hotel at the bottom of a hill, so it was a bit of a climb uphill and a bit far from the town's main shopping area above the hotel.

Bad sollte renoviert werden. Leider lange, schwarze Haare vom vorherigen Gast. In einem 4-Sterne Hotel würde ich einen Wasserkocher sowie Tee/Kaffee erwarten. Bett war uns zu weich. Hellhörig.

• Jonathan (7/5): A great value hotel in a beautiful location, in need of some TLC - A wonderful location with rooms overhanging the sea and offering an unusual view of a working port, distant mountains and the Amalfi coast. Rooms were clean and the hotel had a lovely terrace. Most of the staff were very friendly, a couple less so. Breakfast was entirely adequate. All in all, good value and good location. The hotel does not feel like a four star hotel- aside from its location. A lot of building work, areas in need of repair ( to be fair, we went right at the end of the season). A couple of grumpy staff and a restaurant ( for dinner) to be avoided at this time of year. Sadly the hotel’s back was closed for our entire stay.
• Dana Einav (6/5): מיקום יפה, צריך להתעקש על קומה גבוהה ולהנות מארוחת הבוקר - העיירה נחמדה, מיקום המלון טוב, הנוף מהחלון יפה וגם חדר ארוחת הבוקר יפה. הצוות נחמד ויש מיני בר, יש הרבה חדרים והמחיר בסדר. היתה חניה חינם קרובה קיבלנו חדר בקומת קרקע, הכי גרוע, היינו צריכים לסחוב המזוודות בעצמנו במדרגות, בלי עזרה, בלי מעלית, בלי התנצלות. צריכים לבקש קומה גבוהה ולוודא שהמעלית מגיעה לקומה של החדר. עזבנו מוקדם בבוקר, ביקשנו ארוחה ארוזה שהיתה עלובה מאד

• Michael (7/5): - Die Aussicht auf Meer und Hafen war grossartig. Die jungen Frauen an der Rezeption waren zuvorkommend und kompetent. Unser Parkplatz war perfekt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war keine vier Sterne wert. Das Hotel ist schlecht schallisoliert. Trotz der ansprechenden Renovation ist das Hotel in die Jahre gekommen. Das Nachtessen im Hotel war ungenügend.
• Candace (10/5): - We got a room with an amazing view. It has an elevator and a good breakfast and coffee. We had some issues with plumbing- shower doesn’t drain properly. Needed someone to fix our tv and someone did. The receptionist staff is very kind, and we were able to borrow umbrellas to use while seeing downtown. I’d stay here again.

Tutto lo staff è stato sempre gentile e disponibile, la pulizia impeccabile e abbiamo molto apprezzato il cambio quotidiano degli asciugamani, sempre freschi e puliti. Durante il nostro soggiorno ci sono stati diversi eventi e feste, ma la nostra camera (una superior) era ben insonorizzata e non abbiamo avuto alcun disturbo. La colazione potrebbe forse essere un po’ migliorata nella varietà. Unico piccolo dettaglio: nella doccia mancava una tenda o una separazione, quindi un po’ d’acqua usciva — nulla però che abbia rovinato l’esperienza

It was dirty, dated, badly maintained, staff were disengaged and disinterested, sun deck was not there even though it was advertised, sink was cracked, air conditioner was very noisy, walls were very thin you could understand what people were saying in the next rooms, a sun lounger plus towel could cost up to €24 per day even though the sun deck wasn’t there anymore, food was mediocre at best…the hotel is a total rip off, and any ‘gushing’ reviews here are definitely fabricated to make the place seem worthwhile.

• Laurens (5/5): Only go for the view, nothing else! - The only real good thing about this hotel is the beautiful view from the room balcony. The platform on the sea is a bit old and rusty but the sun, beautiful surrounding and the sea make it very nice. The guy working there is very friendly. Breakfast is very limited and old, absolutely not fresh, fruitflies are on the tomatoes… Late checkout would cost €108! They charge extra to use their old platform on the sea. One receptionist lady that doesnt speak english properly, tells me that I didnt pay for their beach visit, which I did. She stands next to me whole I pack the car with my suitcases, seemingly worried that I would drive off without paying €20, creating an impleasant and untrustworthy experience. Especially since she doesnt speak english to explain or communicate.

• Mario G. (8/5): Bella esperienza complessivamente - Posizione, colazione, cordialità del personale, pulizia. Il bagno della stanza non è funzionale… non condivido la scelta di separare lavabo, bidet, WC, doccia.

• Capuozzo (7/5): - La camera pulita e il balcone vista mare sono eccezionali. La piattaforma per la piaggia, anche se a pagamento, è un ottimo servizio che permette di godere del mare in maniera tranquilla e rilassante (servirebbe un rinnovo dei lettini e ombrelloni). La struttura è vicina sia al borgo antico di Vietri che a marina di Vietri, raggiungibili entrambe a piedi. L'unica nota meno positiva è la colazione, in quanto, non è ricca, ci sono poche alternative e non tutti i prodotti sono di ottima qualità per una struttura a 4 stelle.

• Laura (10/5): - Alzare la tapparella la mattina e aprendo gli occhi "tuffarsi" in quel mare non capita tutti i giorni! Vista pazzesca dalla camera, durante la colazione, al pomeriggio al bar per un caffè. Praticamente circondati dal mare. L'unico consiglio è che si potrebbe un attimo rivedere la quota del solarium, permettere l'accesso non a pagamento durante la permanenza non sarebbe una cattiva idea.

• jpP9700HS (6/5): 6/21 - Great view, great room, excellent service from staff. Buuuuut, breakfast was said to be included…we gather our breakfast and sit down. The awesome wait staff asks us if we’d like coffee, of course like normal humans we say yes, turns out you pay for every cup of caffeine with breakfast you order. Wouldn’t have changed our order but felt a little misleading. DO NOT eat at the restaurant, again the staff is amazing, the food is not. The wife got “crispy chicken” and it was literally reheated frozen chicken tenders and French fires. My “sea beam” was a slimy piece of white fish with olive oil drizzled on it. ZERO effort put into the meals and way over charged, we asked to use our “voucher” that was $29 per person for an entree and main dish plus 1/2 liter of water. Turns out at checkout we get fully charged for sub par meal and the front desk tried to argue with me about whether or not I handed the voucher to the waiter. Front desk staff could have easily fixed the issue but instead tried to fight me about it, extremely unprofessional. But again, definitely would stay again just learned our lesson about breakfast and restaurant.
