Marco (6/5): Small Family Inn at Civitella-in-Val di Chiana. - Small family-owned inn located in center of Civitella in Val di Chiana. Room was comfortable and included all we needed. It was cold upon check-in which the co-owner tried to remedy with a space heater. It took a while. The room warmed up after the first night. The other co-owner kindly offered me our first night complimentary. (Thank you again.). The breakfast was simple and included fruit, juice, yogurt, sliced cheese and cold cut, packages sweets, tea, coffee and water. The owners were always around to open the doors for us and help us if needed. In fact, they awoke early to give us breakfast at 6:30 am on our departure! Would I stay here again? Yes, at a lower room rate per night (I paid 120€. I believe it is worth half given the lodging, breakfast and considering that you only have access to your room and the breakfast room during the breakfast. Would I recommend it to others? Yes again at a better value rate.
Daniele (10/5): Palazzo medievale in deliziosa cittadina toscana. - Tutto si può riassumere in poche parole: soggiorno fantastico in una splendida camera di uno splendido palazzo (X secolo!) di una splendida cittadina in compagnia di persone stupende! Come ospitalità non si può trovare più di così!!! La camera era davvero confortevole, accuratamente arredata con mobili d'epoca e dotata di tutto il necessario (...e anche di più, vista la presenza dell'idromassaggio!). L'accoglienza, poi, è stata eccellente, con tanti piccoli tocchi di riguardo (finezza della biancheria, dotazioni per il bagno, tisane, caramelle, ecc.) e tante informazioni interessanti all'occorrenza. E' stato come sentirsi in famiglia facendo contemporaneamente un bagno di storia!
