The Hotel Castel is located in the heart of the Valais capital, between castles and vineyards, just below the Château de Tourbillon, only a 4-minute walk from the center of Sion and a 15-minute walk from the train station.

- Elena (10/5): Totalmente recomendable - Muy buena experiencia, habitación amplia, cómoda, limpia y con vistas al Castillo. Personal amable y además es un hotel pet friendly. Bien situado y con parking gratuito. La única queja que puedo poner es que la insonorización de las habitaciones no es la mejor, pero nada que unos tapones no puedan solucionar si eres de sueño ligero.

- RC (10/5): My stay was short and sweet. - I’m a cyclist, and the kind staff allowed me to keep my bicycle on my terrace. I even had a view of the Col that I climbed that day. Coffee in the room was wonderful! Staff was friendly and welcoming. I was on the opposite side of the Castel, so the noise level was higher, due to the road below.

- Caroline (5/5): Für 1 Nacht okay - Die Lage ist gut um die Stadt zu Fuss zu erkunden. Die Dusche ist sehr alt und das Badezimmer im Allgemeinen könnte mal eine Renovierung brauchen. Der Kleiderschrank sieht aus als ob er bald zusammen fallen würde! Das macht einfach einen „schmuddeligen“ Eindruck.

- B. Trinkler (6/5): - Die Lage ist gut und zentral. Eigentlich gute Lage, schönes zweckmässiges Zimmer! Ab 21:30 - 22-30 ein lautes Geplapper von mehr als 4 Leuten. Dieselben Personen haben am Abreisetag um 5 Uhr mit rücksichslosem Lärm alle aufgeweckt. Installationen in der Duche defekt.

- Isa'Bella 64 (10/5): - L'accueil très agréable. Le fait qu'ils acceptent les chiens. L'hôtel est très bien situé. Très proche du centre ville et des châteaux de Valère et Tourbillon. Accessible en quelques 10 minutes à pied, ce qui permet de laisser notre voiture à l'hôtel. Le parking devant l'hôtel est gratuit. Il y a un très bon restaurant italien dans l'hôtel avec des prix corrects, ce qui est très agréable le soir après une journée de découverte. L'hôtel a été repris il y a 1,5 année par un jeune couple qui ne nous considère pas comme un numéro mais comme une personne, ce qui fait la différence.

- Peter (7/5): Family friendly, well located no-frills hotel with outdoor parking. - We were in Sion to visit family, and for this purpose as well as to visit in the region, the hotel was perfectly located. The hotel rooms had a good size and the staff (all categories) were helpful and kind. That there is not 24/7 reception.

- Andrey (4/5): Last time - . I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. There was a terrible sewage smell in my room that made it impossible to sleep comfortably. My check-in was late, and by the time I noticed how bad the smell was, the reception was already closed, so I couldn’t request a room change. The hotel is acceptable for one night only, but definitely not for a longer stay. The walls are very thin, and you can clearly hear conversations from the neighboring rooms, which makes it hard to relax. Unfortunately, this will likely be my last experience with this hotel.
