The hotel felt safe, and the cleanliness standards were impeccable, especially in the rooms and common areas. The staff and managers were highly professional, and the service was always fast and prompt, which enhanced the overall experience. I particularly enjoyed the diverse breakfast selection, offering a delightful mix of African and continental options. The gym was well-equipped with essential gear to maintain my training routine, and the pool area provided a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were outstanding, featuring both a bathtub and a shower, luxurious Molton Brown products, high thread count sheets, and incredibly soft pillows that ensured a comfortable stay. The attention to detail and excellent service made my time there truly enjoyable, and I would highly recommend the George Hotel to anyone seeking a high-quality experience. I enjoyed my long stay, had no problems.

Ifeoma (4/5): Not an enjoyable experience - Good location in Ikoyi The pool was closed off when we arrived. It had a horrible odour and it looked awful. The staff explained that it was closed for renovations but I’m surprised we were not informed prior to our stay. The bathroom facilities were not 5 star. The shower was poorly constructed and the amenities were below par. The room we were given was also extremely basic and not in line with what we were expecting . The meals I had were not great. The chicken suya dish in particular was not edible and the soya cappuccino was not good

Also, need to make sure the food is not spoilt. i Had spoilt rice though they removed it. Internet could be better. Switching from "The George" to "Room..." caused my wifi to disconnect in different areas of the room. They need to have knowledge of nearby activities for visitors. Provide hints for visitors.

Verified traveler (2/5): - This hotel is clean, and everything works. However, the services provided by staff is extremely poor. I would not recommend that anyone stay here except you simply want to throw money away. For a hotel this expensive, you will experience the worst service imaginable. Be warned. There are other hotels, way cheaper, equally clean, bigger and still provide a more intimate, boutique feel than this place. This service is so bad that you will definitely regret staying here. Just imagine a more than 2 hr late check in after a long travel, imagine a room you booked is said to be unavailable and then becomes available all of a sudden, imagine seating at the restaurant for 45 mins before someone even attends to you, imagine asking for a menu and it takes another 30 mins to take your order. Imagine ordering for one thing and getting another. Also imagine being at the pool side for hours and no one attends to you. Now don’t ever think of having an event here. The assistant manager Mr Tony is horrible- cares more about money than your experience and memories. Am sure Mr. George meant well when he opened the hotel and wanted a certain type of experience for his guest and I think he genuinely wants his guest to get d best service. But I think he needs to send decoys to spend time at the hotel, I think he’d be blown away that his guest don’t even get a A 1* service

Initially, my family and I were only meant to stay for 6 nights, but we ended up extending our stay to 9 because no other hotel could compare. From the quality of food, to the super friendly staff, to the comfort and welcoming presence of the hotel, to the onsite facilities, this hotel superseded my expectation. Shuttle service was safe and prompt. Lastly, I want to thank the GM Theo T. Very lovely guy, helpful and efficient. He went above and beyond in EVERYTHING he did. I can’t thank him enough...The Geoge will be my first choice when coming to Lagos. 10/10
