Nachtschwärmer vor Ort (vor allem abends) für die Location inkaufnehmen; aber sie tun nichts und falls es mal was lauter werden sollte, sorgt die Polizei für Ruhe.

The rooms are spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed - comfortable without trying too hard. The staff really stood out - warm, attentive, and easy to deal with. Just great people. Location is perfect - steps to the beach and an easy walk to Abbot Kinney for great restaurants, coffee, and shopping. Would absolutely stay again.

We arrived mid-morining for a mid-afternoon check-in, they got the room ready within the hour. They offered good food recommendations and were very nice. We stayed in Penthouse Two, a corner room facing the beach. The room is large, clean, simple, and light. The bed is comfortable and we slept with the windows open, listening to the sound of the ocean. My wife and I were in LA for the week because I had meetings, stayed at a perfectly reasonable hotel in Hollywood. We were at the V on the last night so we could get at least a day of vacation for both of us. I love Venice Beach, but haven't been in years. This was the perfect hotel for a relaxing night in a beautiful place. As an aside, I was pleasently surprised to see that Small World Books is still open, worth checking out.

Bon service de parking (valet) Trop bruyant - malheureusement entouré de petites allées où logent un grand nombre de sans-abris. Disputes en pleine nuit. Proximité de l'hôtel pas très accueillante et pas très propre. Mais pas de problème d'insécurité

The view of the beach was great. The robes were awesome, we've ordered them online to buy our own! There's free bicycles and skateboards for 2 hour rentals which is awesome but we didn't have enough time to use them. I imagine they would be very popular in summer The fridge compressor was quite loud when it switches on, especially in the middle of the night. It would be better positioned near the balcony not near the bed.

The staff is super friendly and accommodating, the rooms are lovely and so well appointed. It's the only place we stay when visiting our sons who live in Venice. The hotel is cool, classy, and comfortable!

Upon arrival, we were able to store our luggage, and thanks to our wonderful advisor, we were granted a complimentary early check-in, which made our arrival seamless and stress-free. When we entered the room, we were pleasantly surprised by a complimentary bottle of wine as a welcome gesture — a thoughtful and generous touch. The room itself was perfect: impeccably clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The amenities were excellent and of high quality, with a refrigerator and coffee available in the room, as well as coffee conveniently offered in the lobby. The hotel’s oceanfront view is simply outstanding — truly one of the best. Additionally, the penthouse (PH) offers a beautiful, relaxed space to sit, talk, and share moments while enjoying the surroundings. Finally, the location is unbeatable: directly across from the beach and just steps away from the iconic Venice canals. Je recommande ! - Emplacement exceptionnel, bâtiment historique avec du charme, prêt de vélos, salle bain grande et confortable. Belle terrasse confortable pour boire un verre (boisson à aller acheter et à apporter) Chambre qui m'a été donnée initialement ne correspondait pas au niveau de reservation (ocean view). Après discussion avec la réception, j'ai obtenu une chambre Ocean view avec une vue superbe. Bizarrement, la chambre n'a pas été faite sur les deux jours. A noter, pas de petit dej mais breakfast exceptionnel à la porte de l'hotel, juste en face.

From the courteous/kind staff to the organic coffee/cafe downstairs to the old/new vibe of the building. Our room was perfect + the bed - oh my gosh, so very comfortable! If they sold the sheets, down comforter + pillows, we would’ve bought them to put on our own beds!! The views in the room with the partial skylight and all the windows - magnificent! Even though it was raining, overcast + not great weather- it didn’t even matter. The Venice V Hotel is just spectacular + we will absolutely be back to stay again + again.
• katb695 (8/5): Worked Well for a Short Trip - The overall stay worked for our needs. The check-in and valet were quick and easy. Upon arriving in the room, it was very stuffy and smelled musty of cleaning solution. The windows only open a few inches, so there was no way to air out the room. We had to leave for a reservation as soon as we arrived, so we did not have time to address the issue. The amenity fees ($27/night), valet costs ($60 with tax), and deposit hold ($100/night) are clearly stated on the website when booking, so we had no surprises, as mentioned by other guests. We did not use any of the amenities listed, but you can see that bikes and beach equipment are available to you. The area surrounding the hotel is full of different characters, but nothing out of the ordinary for an urban area. I never felt unsafe walking alone, as most people who occupy the street keep to themselves. I was surprised at how quiet it was during the night and the morning, given we left the windows cracked open. I did hear footsteps from the guests above in the morning, but nothing from outside. For the location and price of the hotel, it worked for this specific trip.

The property is beautiful, and the room was exceptionally comfortable and well-appointed, with thoughtful touches such as complimentary water, a rain shower, and luxurious soaps. Most notably, the staff was outstanding—warm, attentive, and welcoming on every level. The parking price is steep.

Room has unposted motion sensor that turns off electricity without warning -- a serious problem. Had two terrible nights sleep and was treated like this was a minor inconvenience, whereas the truth is it is a serious medical issue -- CPAP kept turning off.

• 892vintonc (10/5): A unique and fun experience! - If you want to experience Venice Beach in all its glory, wackiness, strangeness, & fun, this is the place to stay. Location cannot be beat. You're right. In the middle of it all. When the scene on the boardwalk is at its peak it can be a little bit intimidating but we never felt unsafe. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is very cool and a unique lodging experience. Access to the rest of the city via Uber was as easy as could be (SoFi Stadium). We will definitely be staying here the next time we come to L.A.

Everything was super clean and recently remodeled. Our room was corner partial ocean view. I wasn’t overly impressed with the parking. It was valet but you still had to walk around the corner to the front door. Now to the bad part. I didn’t know much about Venice Beach. During day it seemed somewhat safe but some homeless close by. You drive down an alley way to get to the small parking area. At night it is dark and most eating establishments in front of the hotel are closed. It is dark and a little sketchy. The good news, the hotel inside was comfy and felt safe. You had to be buzzed in or have a hotel key to gain access inside. While the hotel was super nice, I feel everyone should be aware of the surrounding area. May not be an optimal location if you are on a girls trip.

• Roy (10/5): - Great Hotel, the Venice V is an experience with room themes ranging from: Artist, Boho and Skate. Located right on the beach the offer Beach Towels and Beach Cruiser Bikes to add to the experience. We rode North past Sant Monica to a Beach Cafe for Breakfast. Loved the refurbished Art Deco look of this Hotel. Staff was helpful and cool. Venice Canals are close and walkable. Great restaurants and people watching.
• Vidal R. (10/5): - The customer service was great!! We were greeted by security in the parking lot and felt so safe. Front desk was able to resolve a mix up with my reservation and still accommodate us. The room was very clean and beautiful. We were there due to a layover and everything was in walking distance ocean, shopping, dining, great location! Will stay here again.
• 927brih (10/5): Skip Santa Monica, Venice Is Where You’ll End Up Anyway - Where do I even start?! I just had the most amazing weekend at Venice V Hotel, and I’m still not over it. We checked in right at sunset, and the ocean was literally outside our window it was unreal. You’re just steps from the sand, close to all the best spots to eat and drink, and the hotel itself has the coolest vibe. They make everything super easy, bike rentals right there, and the friendliest staff who make you feel totally at home. Also, the showers are gorgeous, and the water pressure is actually amazing (you know that’s not something to overlook!). If you’re ever looking for a chill, beachy spot to stay in Venice, seriously, Venice V is where it’s at. Already planning my next trip back!
• richarddA6634SS (10/5): Everything you'll need to wish Venice was your new home. - If I could spend every birthday here, I would. No other hotel compares when it comes to authenticity, the rooms, and the views. The stay is unforgettable—from watching sunsets in bed and getting a bird's-eye views of the skatepark, to the easiest bike rental on the boardwalk. Plus, you're literally steps from the sand... what else do you need? I'll be back before the year's over, guaranteed.
• Martin (10/5): - Everything was great… the only downs were that the fridge made a whirring noise and the flashing lights on the WiFi access point reflected off the tv. Neither were a reason not to stay. Free bike rental was a nice surprise, the wifi actually worked and food was close and good
• kristyn476 (10/5): Would we stay there again? ABSOLUTELY - My husband & I were here for our Anniversary. The costumer service was Amazing! Best we have ever experienced. Room was pretty & clean. Just loud doors that slam & you can hear the people walking above you. There is valet for parking at a daily rate. There is food everywhere, walking distance right outside the hotel. As well as the ocean.

• Joshua (10/5): - This was our first time visiting LA/Venice Beach and the Venice V Hotel did not disappoint. Not only is the hotel in a great location, steps away from Venice Beach and the Pacific, but the style and cleanliness were way above other hotels we have stayed at. We stayed in the PH bungalow room, with stunning views, modern room and comfortable furniture. It was quiet in the evening, with great restaurants in walking distance. There were even bicycles you could use during your stay, free of charge. Parking was very easy, with valet parking and 24/7 security. They also accommodate pets which is awesome. As for the employees, Nick, Gabriel and Larissa (sorry if I misspelt), went above and beyond during our stay. Very friendly, accommodating, and professional. If I could give this place a 6/5 star I would! We will definitely be back to check out LA again in the near future, and will most definitely be booking with Venice V Hotel again!

• Laura (10/5): Penthouse Plus - Cute boutique hotel with history and charm. I’d definitely recommend the rooftop penthouse options, specifically PH 2 has amazing beach front views!! Very quiet and private up there. Community space offering side/sunset views as well. Our room was very well appointed, clean, large and comfy. Staff was pleasant. Grey central location for Venuce beach !
• Yong (8/5): - Very old hotel but renovated inside the room. Very clean and modern. Room with an ocean view but only partial. Very close to Venice beach and stores and restaurants.
• Michael (8/5): - Cool hotel and great location. On cusp of being 5 star across the board. Just need some tweaks. Acoustics poor and person above can be loud. Shower set up not good and drains back up. 😬 Great location and very cool hotel.
