Rooms were to a high standard and the staff were great. It was just a pity that our stay had to be cut short by 3 days due an incident at home. Would like to return next year

- Betha (10/5): A hidden gem - This is a little gem, tucked away in the middle of nowhere. The room was a decent size, very clean and had everything we needed. Barry and the lady who cooked breakfast were both great, and couldn't do enough for us. The breakfasts was plentiful and we really enjoyed it. You cannot go wrong for the price of this B&B.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Lovely country stopover - My room was extremely comfortable, very clean, and most important it was wonderful to be in the country, to not hear the air traffic, or traffic - to wake up and hear the birds sing. I just used the bedroom because I was visiting family.

Clean with a very comfortable bed.

The home cooked food has limited options but what there is is always tasty, hot, fresh and good value.
Breakfast is excellent. I would not choose anywhere else if coming to the area. A solid 10/10 here.

- Jonathan (10/5): - Barry the Host is a real character and the banter we had with him made our stay even more enjoyable. It was our second stay at the White Horse Longham and when we return to Norfolk in the future we shall book to stay here again.
- T (10/5): Thank you. - We arrived later than normal, but it was no trouble; we were shown to our room as though it was perfectly ordinary.
Room was lovely - warm and spacious with a most comfortable bed. Everything you could wish for was supplied. Only possible downside was the rather transparent blinds and curtains - which could be a problem in the summer.
Breakfast was perfectly cooked with a selection of cereals to start, all served by delightful and attentive staff.
Thank you; we will be back!
- Massimo (10/5): - Lovely quirky pub, the room was excellent, the breakfast was delicious, the staff was lovely.
- Jonathan (10/5): - Very good room with very comfortable bed. Servive is very friendly and the breakfast is excellent.

- Lewis (10/5): Great night sleep and excellent breakfast! - I had a lovely night sleep at The Longham White Horse. A very quiet place to stay and I fantastic cooked breakfast (which I couldn't fault) made by Jenny. I would recommend and will be staying again!
- Rhys (10/5): - I was not expecting this stay to be as good as it was. Booked it last-minute, due to playing a gig in the local area. Well, it was a great find! From the moment I walked in, the landlord (and the locals!) gave a warm welcome. A fantastic location for a quaint inn with rooms. The room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed, tea/coffee facilities, dressing table, shower gels et cetera. Such a lovely room, too! Breakfast in the morning was top-notch, too. I was sat on my own and the landlord made the effort to come over for a chat. Genuinely hospitable fella. Really enjoyed my stay!
- Jeffrey (10/5): - Quiet, peaceful, Good accomodation, with very good food, and in the middle for all attractions, and Barry , Jen and Chrissy, all very polite and helpful at all times. Barry the owner is MY cup of tea!!!! and as the saying goes I SHALL RETURN, to this little gem.
- Joanne (8/5): Comfortable accommodation for a one night stay - Quaint B&B attached to a pub. We arrived on a Saturday evening and found it quite strange that there was nobody in the pub. We were shown to our rooms which were comfortable and warm and had everything you needed. We decided not to eat there as was not sure if food was available as nothing had been mentioned at check in. We drove at least 30 mins away before we found anywhere to eat. Breakfast the following morning was cooked freshly and was very plentiful and tasty. Not sure I would stay again about is very far out but I can’t complain about the comfortable rooms.
- Patricia (10/5): - Beautiful village setting, friendly and helpful.
- Donna (10/5): - Room was very spacious and comfortable. Plenty of parking and great staff. I had to rush off in the morning and they made me a bacon sandwich to take out which was really appreciated. When im back in the area, will stay here again!
- geoff (10/5): - Lovely stay, Barry is a very welcoming landlord.
Nice room and the breakfast is superb.
The pub is not busy, so its up to you if that's your kind of thing.
It's a real example of rural England from times past.
- Jerry Joseph (10/5): - Nice play to stay with ample parking space in a quiet village. Just about 30 mins drive to Norwich city. Highly recommended.
- valerie (10/5): - very comfy bed ,cleanliness great. Food great
Wonderful old pub, hopefully we can stay again in the future.
- STUART (8/5): puzzled - On arrival we were going to have lunch but we were told that they did not serve lunch. We were puzzled as the menu on their website clearly showed a lunch menu.
The menu for evening meals was also completely different to that advertised on their website. The meals offered were of a pub grub standard not the restaurant standard expected. However the breakfast served were excellent.
The room was of a satisfactory standard although the decor was a little dated.
All that said the stay was good and we were looked after very well
- Sharon (10/5): - Exceptional value for money. Friendly and very accommodating Landlord. Lovely restaurant area, excellent breakfast and great choice of evening meals. A great all round experience, large comfortable home from home room - cannot recommend enough. Will definitely be returning on our future visits.

- Christopher (10/5): - Very nice place out in the countryside with a friendly bar owner and lovely pub downstairs. Super quite. Only issue as I forgot to bring my eye shades is to have a black out blind as the room was super bright at 6am so I didnt get much sleep
- Beverley (10/5): - The white horse is in a lovely quiet village, we booked a family room which was spacious with an on suite. The beds where so cosy and comfortable ,everywhere was clean . The landlord was a very nice ,also the lady that works for him and the breakfast was outstanding
- Gilbert (10/5): - The staff esp the older guy who received us was very welcoming. The room was tidy & beds were comfy. Breakfast was a "star" since they cook it while waiting. Not greasy and my 2 boys enjoyed the food. We will definitely come back in the future!

- B executive (10/5): Stop over for an early start - Barry has his unique way of running the place which works, that said the best Steak and Kidney pie and a top Guinness, if you want a relaxed slow pace stay this is the place 👍
- Patrick (8/5): - Find and friendly staff accommodating and a good food
- Gail (10/5): Quiet and Quirky b&b. - We had a lovely stay here. It was a quiet base for us to explore the Norfolk countryside and coastlines. Room was clean and comfy. Barry the host is very friendly and the breakfast was beautifully cooked. It set us up nicely for the day.
- SAI (10/5): Business trip Lincolnshire - Hidden gem, pub grub, good selection of beers, chatty landlord, great service. Would stay again.
- louise (10/5): A Proper English Pub - This was just what was required on a stormy winter’s night. Lots of parking. Barry the publican was a great host and kept me entertained with a good chat by the fire with a glass of wine. The room was large, well equipped and non-corporate which was a welcome change from other places I have stayed. Best poached egg on toast for breakfast. Can highly recommend.
- Philip (10/5): - Lovely place, comfortable and great breakfast
- Emma (8/5): - Charming pub & accommodation ideally located for Polar Express experience in Dereham.
Lovely breakfast too!
- Catherine (8/5): Value for money stay - Extremely good value for money, the room was clean, roomy and comfortable. Ample parking and a quiet location, easy to reach but away from major roads. Fairly standard menu for dinner, but the fish and chips were excellent and the bar looked well stocked. Tasty and generous breakfast.
- Paul (10/5): - Fantastic little pub and hotel.
- Isabel (8/5): - Lovely place friendly people and good food. A bit far from the coast
- MARK (10/5): - An excellent place to stay, very comfortable and well appointed rooms. The food was basic but very well cooked and presented.
Its a little bit 'off the beaten track' but well worth the few miles drive to get there.
- Raymond (10/5): - Typical old English pub beautifully redecorated, spacious, comfy beds, includes nearly all facilities, even fan for hot days, spacious outdoor garden seating, bbq area & meals from bar.Plenty of parking ,quiet village location. No mini fridge, maybe ask for hairdryer. Highly recommend staying here.
- Raymond (8/5): A little bit of seventies in a peaceful location - Its hard to rate this place. When i stayed they had just lost their chef and the owner to his credit was in the kitchen. The menu thus was written on the back of a till receipt and the service, understandibly slow. However everyone was doing their best and again to his credit the owner got up eary to cook me a very good breakfast at seven on the morning. The sort of extra service which is very rare these days.
The decor was reminiscent of the seventies but spotless throughout and there were nice individual touches.
The place grew on me and my dog loved the ham.
If i'm ever in the area again i will look this place up
- Roger (10/5): - All aspects of the residence ran smoothly.
- John (10/5): - Absolutely fantastic place, stunning location, excellent food and very welcoming staff.
one of the best I've stayed in.

- Jason (8/5): - "I simply can't praise this place enough, and the star of the show for me has to be their Full English breakfast. It was nothing short of perfection! Every element, from the crispy fried bread to the savory sausages and perfectly cooked eggs, was a symphony of flavors that left me absolutely delighted. If you're a fan of a hearty breakfast done right, this place is an absolute must-visit. I can't wait to return for another round of their fantastically delicious Full English breakfast!"
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Friendly and helpful landlord
- Peter (10/5): - Friendly staff, made to feel welcome
- Wayne (10/5): - Brilliant thoroughly recommend this pub!
- David (10/5): - We would thoroughly recommend this B&B for a quiet relaxing break. Barry is very friendly & welcoming and the breakfast in particular was excellent. Our room (no 3) was spacious and clean with a fairly compact but adequate en suite. Own transport is essential because of the location being well off the beaten track.
- Rob (8/5): great little find - great little find
Barry the owner is great. He needs as many people staying as possible which will really help him - so give it a go. Much more friendly than a Travel Inn/Premier lodge and in such a great quiet location. Decent pub food too, but breakfast was brill.
I'll be back when i next need to stay in the area
