Well-presented breakfast with great care and attention to detail. Refreshing swimming pool, but the tiled surrounds are slippery and dangerous. Consider trimming the overhanging trees to allow more sunlight to warm up the pool. Nothing. It is always a pleasure to stay at Foresto.

- Chrysanthi (9/5): - The family that runs the hotel is helpful and reliable, I felt safe there as a solo traveler. They also helped me book my bus to Bangkok and reserve a tuk-tuk when needed. I also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the pool. There was also a good coffee shop a few doors down from the hotel and some good restaurants nearby. I stayed 4 nights and happy I did- there is lots to discover in Sukhothai (temples, bike tour, amulet learning centre, etc.). After a long and hot day visiting the temples, it felt nice to have access to a pool. The hotel is in a central location in the new town. I also feel that for the quality-price, this is a good deal. The Sukhothai old town (temples and other activities) is a little further from the new town than I was expecting. I still enjoyed the location but it just takes a bit more time and planning to visit the temples (reserving a tuk-tuk or calling a Grab although Grab is not always available for the return so it's a good idea to save the number of the tuk-tuk driver). This is not the fault of the hotel, I'm just mentioning it as information.

Il nous a trouvé des transports pour visiter le parc historique ou nous rendre à l'aéroport en un rien de temps. L'emplacement dans la ville, à proximité d'un très bon restaurant thaï (dont le propriétaire est Belge !) Le site de l'hôtel, la décoration et le confort des chambres. Le petit déjeuner bien garni. Rien à signaler.

The manager was very helpful, suggested a 1/2 day bike tour to countryside, which I enjoyed. I would have liked a bedside lamp on the other side of the bed. I had some difficulty understanding how to use the shower, an explanation upon arrival would have been helpful.
- Sigrun (6/5): Könnte ein idyllisches Kleinod sein, wenn nicht... - Ohne die Negativpunkte wäre das Foresto ein ganz zauberhaftes Kleinod. So bezaubert es anfangs spontan und dann ist der Putz leider ganz schnell ab. Das Foresto liegt prima - sowohl zentral als auch leise. Die Anlage ist klein, hat eigentlich auch viel Charme, es ist grün undauch der Pool ist irgendwie niedlich. Unser Zimmer war großzügig und hell mit einer lauschigen Terrasse am Pool. Das eigentliche Bett war auch sehr bequem. Punkt 1, 2 und 3... die Sauberkeit. Ich versteh es einfach nicht. Man kann keinen Geschmack haben - dann ist es halt hässlich, man kann keinen Pool haben - dann hat man halt keinen Pool. Aber WARUM hat man ein Schmuckstück von einer Pension und verkauft auch ein Schmuckstück ( preislich ) und hält es dann nicht sauber und frei von Sperrmüll? Die Dusche geht hygienetechnisch gar nicht. In dem Sofa vor dem Fernseher schauen die Federn raus, bzw. man saß direkt drauf. Die Terrassendielen waren so kaputt. Dass es echt riskant war, barfuß da drauf zu gehen. Und das Frühstück ist kontinental-minimalistisch: Toast, Butter, Marmelade, Ei, Cornflakes, ... ich hoffe. ich habe keinen Aufpreis dafür bezahlt. Ich schau besser nicht nach, sonst ärgere ich mich noch.

- ehp_ch (9/5): Sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis - Kleineres, hübsches Guesthouse. Nahe der Hauptstrasse und doch sehr ruhig. Die Bungalows (wir waren in Nr. 7) verfügen über eine kleine Veranda mit Tisch/Stühlen und sind mehr oder weniger um den kleinen Pool gruppiert. Die Zimmer mit AirCon sind angenehm gross und sauber. Dische mit Durchlauferhitzer, der sofort Warmwasser bringt. Das Frühstück ist lecker. Das Personal sehr freundlich. Sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Der Kühlschrank im Zimmer war etwas lauter als gewöhnlich. Aber den kann man auch vom Strom trennen, wenn er stört.

- Micha (7/5): Warm Hospitality and Spacious Bungalows, but Some Maintenance Needed - We had a very pleasant stay at Forresto Guest Home, mainly thanks to the owner and the staff, who welcomed us very warmly and took great care of us throughout our stay. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, which really made us feel comfortable and well looked after. The bungalows are very spacious, offering plenty of room, and the bed was comfortable, so overall the accommodation itself worked well for us. It is a nice place to relax and unwind. On the downside, the property is a bit dated and some areas clearly need maintenance. The terrace floor of our bungalow was quite worn and damaged. What bothered us the most, however, was the pool pump located directly behind our room – it was extremely loud and very disturbing, especially when trying to relax. We also noticed exposed cables in the pool area. While this did not seem immediately dangerous, it does not create a good feeling regarding safety

- Kristin (7/5): Charmante Unterkunft - Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Das gebuchte Zimmer war sauber und zweckmäßig ausgestattet, der Pool direkt davor. Die Lage - erreichbar nur mit Auto/Tuk-Tuk; Historisches Zentrum ust ebenfalls ein bisschen zu fahren mit Auto/Tuk-Tuk
- Michaela (8/5): - Eine kleine Oase in der Stadtmitte. Großer Bungalow Sehr netter Besitzer,der sich sehr bemüht um jeden einzelnen Gast. Leider ist das Hotel in die Jahre gekommen,war bestimmt für ein richtig schöner Ort. Es müsste an manchen Stellen ein bisschen was repariert werden. Liegestühle am Pool waren alle kaputt,im Pool selbst hing ein Stromkabel und die Terrasse an unserem Bungalow hatte kaputte Dielen
- Martina (8/5): - Super Lage. Tolles Zimmer. Sehr sauber. Wunderschöne Anlage. Leckeres Frühstück 9Einfach perfekt. Pool müsste renoviert werden.
