Guest Reviews
- Da (4/5): - Room not clean many dust
Many Cigarette butts under the bed
No tissue no teeth-brush
The shower tube is so noisy
Staff not friendly for Cambodian guests
Too disappointed
- Jahris (10/5): My client was Pleased. - My client was pleased, the staff were nice, the breakfast was refreshing and the facility was clean.

- skullpi (10/5): - Super Personal 👍 Mein kurzer Aufenthalt
- Yalim (2/5): - The staff was friendly and helpful, which we appreciated. However, the buffet ran out quickly—if you arrive later, there’s not much left. The hotel was very loud and crowded during our stay, and there was smoke everywhere from people smoking throughout the property, including in areas that didn’t seem well-ventilated. Overall, the hotel was just okay—not great. It worked for us at the time, but we wouldn’t choose to stay there again.
- Przemysław (9/5): -
- Philip (10/5): - Ok
- Monika (8/5): - Tidy and clean and had all necessary ammenities.
Staff were friendly and responsive.
- Cory (8/5): - Good breakfast included.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Ok - The place was ok never got shampoo everyday they only mopped the floor breakfast was cold and not very appetising
- Ousama (10/5): - Very clean and good hotel considering the price
- Shanthi (2/5): Not very comfortable stay - The lobby is only air-conditioned part of the time, and the fridge in my room did not work. The food on the breakfast buffet was not good, especially for western travelers, and the restaurant is not air-conditioned. The hotel is noisy and the beds are not soft.
- Kevin (10/5): - I was lucky enough to get a phenomenal room rate that was upgraded to a suite apartment. I stayed for two nights. Only complaint was that the manager of the motorscooter staff was a little ridiculous about the ticket we lost. Even after making us wait 10 or 20 minutes while they looked at the cameras and recopied our passport and IDs, they wanted to keep looking for it in our bags. They eventually found it in the trash still in the room.... but wow! They went overboard to the point of being oppressive about it. Seems to me... if you saw me park the moto on camera, and you've recopied IDS... well... Let it go...lol. No need to be so obsessive. For most that'll never be an issue and, anyway, considering the rate which even included an "OK" free breakfast, I was more than happy with the stay. 5 stars because the rate was just unbeatable.
- Routh (8/5): - Nice stay
- Dennis (4/5): Never stay here again! - The shower was slow to drain, and I had to stop washing & wait for water to go, linen was more like rags. Breakfast 1st & 2nd day, didn't worry after that, went to Onra Hotel across road to eat.
Lights were dim.
- Philip (8/5): Very good - The staff were very friendly and courteous.
- Dave (8/5): Very good -
- Judee (4/5): Disappointing -
- Freadrich (8/5): Very good - Nice big room coffee was cold at breakfast
- Williams (7/5): Good - Location staff was helpful Cleaning fell a bit short
- Nerly (10/5): - Stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel was clean, had no issues with my room. Only thing that I dislike was breakfast. It seems they only cater to Asians. If you're planning on having breakfast suggest you to be there early I went at 6:45aam and was only able to get coffee no milk or cream. Only coffee. The rest of the days I actually made coffee in my room didn't car
R for their breakfast.
- Huyen (8/5): Very good -
- N r (10/5): - Nice hotel! Good access to both big markets. Big room and nice shower
- Carine (7/5): Good - Breakfast was good...but a bit cold. Beds were confortable Breakfast was good...but a bit cold. A bit noisy from outsied and inside with other customers talking loud in the corridors
- Jerry (8/5): - close to some areas that i like in PP
- Waseem (8/5): Very good - Clean
Staff was good
Nice breakfast Too much noise
- Katkoma (7/5): Reasonable hotel - Have bathtub & balcony (Deluxe room) is best Front staffs not understanding Genius member benefits. They informed to me 2nd times wrong rooms. Please see booking details deeply.
- BENNY (6/5): - The staff are EXCELLENT...5 STAR !!
RATHA, SAOLY, VICHNY are POLITE & HELPFUL.
Sadly, hotel is GETTING OLD...had to CHANGE MY ROOM FEW TIMES...1st room because of A.C. NOT Working...2nd room fridge NOT Working...3rd room drain had BAD SMELL and NOT Working/Draining.
Finally, last room was ALL GOOD but the NEIGHBORS to my left and right were young students and were TOO NOISY...ALL NIGHT.
- Philip (10/5): - Ok
- Suzanne (7/5): Good -
- Suzanne (7/5): Good -
- Audrey (1/5): Lousy - Room lots of cockroaches
- Toshiaki L Tamashiro (6/5): - Not nice area but can get tuk tuk to roam around. Old property but clean and all good.
- Malina (4/5): 2 start - I booked three room with the windows and balcony but I arrived hotel they put me in the standard room no windows. And services very poor bathroom noisy the fans room cleaning really poorly No I don't like everything
- Lymeng (7/5): Good -
- Zina (10/5): Exceptional -
- SEONG JAE (8/5): - Check out time 2pm. Great for evening flight.
- 무 (5/5): Passable -
- Ram (6/5): Tribble experience in phnom penh Relax hotel and apartment - I stayed 3 nights, room was clean but lots of crawling insects in the room, can't sleep well, insects crawling in the room and in the bathroom, breakfast was only good for Chinese travellers, no vegetarian options, kitchen staff are not friendly, I hardly completed 3 nights Breakfast, crockroch coming to bed while sleeping, biting, reported to the reception but not done anything, I see jam was tribble, I don't recommend this hotel
- Aidan (7/5): Good -
- Gerald (10/5): - If you do not mind walking you can find markets within 1k, otherwise there are always taxies going by. Streets are narrow so keep your head on a swivel. The taxies well try to sell tours. Have fun.
- Joseph (9/5): Superb -
- Nadeem (8/5): Very good -
- Chin (8/5): Very good -
- Greg (8/5): Very good -
- Sofia (8/5): Very good - Stayed one night, everything was ok!
- Samuel (2/5): - Do not stay here unless it is the only option.
- Nadia (4/5): Bad - Totally dislike The location, the stuff and the most terrible breakfast ever
- Anne-cecile (10/5): perfect to stay in Phnom Penh in a quiet quarter -
- Yuka (8/5): Very good - They responded flexibly to our requests. For example, when we asked for a place to get together for a meeting other than the lobby (we were a little big group), they allowed us to use the dining room. Email response was sometimes late, I felt. The message exchange on the Booking.com site was still ok, but when I emailed the hotel directly, I didn't receive a response.
Also, there seems to be a free charging spot in the lobby, but it wasn't working and we couldn't charge our phones at all.
- Alina (10/5): Exceptional - Clean , comfortable, the breakfast is amazing 😍😍😍 Everything’s perfect
- Mohammad (10/5): - Best service and clean nice everything
- Wai (1/5): Bad -
- Prom (5/5): Passable -
- Mean (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vichet (9/5): My room has no complementary water -
- Vichet (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vichet (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vicki (10/5): Exceptional - Location staff rooms
- Joana (8/5): - The hotel is good very convenient location the buffet is a plus. The area is not too great but overall is worth it
- Alfonso (10/5): Our stay was awesome - Breakfast Excellent
- April (8/5): - It was a comfortable stay.
- Bong (10/5): - Highly recommend.
- Do (9/5): Great for my business - Affordable price, nice clean room & friendly staff
- Arthur (6/5): - No hot water
- Anthony (6/5): - A mixed bag, probably fine for a night or two. I chose this place as I noticed breakfast was included although what was an offer was disappointing. Rice and veg with orange squash instead of juice. I ended up going elsewhere.
Room was fine, the fridge stunk though and could do with a decent clean. The front desk did a lovely job of my laundry.
- Shivram (6/5): - Staff were friendly and very helpful!
The towels have seen it’s days, the water doesn’t drain in the bathroom, it takes a while - which is not good !
It needs upgrading and the breakfast is ok - you can survive!
But it is good for money value!
Definitely needs new towels and fix the drainage !
- Sten (9/5): Superb - Bigger than normal room.
Nice balcony.
Staff were helpful. The morning buffet could use hotter coffee...and that's being very picky.
- Engelbrecht (5/5): Passable - The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is not great. The buffet breakfast was upsetting. Not catering for westerners at all. The breakfast was heavy stuff, like noodles etc.
At the end of the day, you get what you pay for
For 6 nights it was very cheap.
- Brian (6/5): Cambodia is not the value use to be - Very pleasant staff, courteous, helpful, polite, the breakfast I'd give 4 out of ten, there's no other time to get food, the room needs the drapes taken down and washed ,very dirty, bathroom has black mould, Phnom Penh is a dirty filthy city, the hotel is a 5 at most out of ten .
- Lauren (3/5): Spend your money elsewhere - No response to messaging prior to arrival. Very lukewarm greeting on arrival, no assistance with silly swing doors getting heavy suitcases in. Pillows were like rocks. Bath had no shower curtain so water gets everywhere but it's not designed as a wet room. Black mould on bath. Hair on drain. Bugs on ceiling. Tiny dingy room, fridge not working. Long black hair in noodles at breakfast; filled a second plate with the same and there was another black hair stuck to the pickled radish. Rest of breakfast was grey and greasy. Bread so stale it could break glass. Would expect this from a cheap hostel not a hotel of this price. Unsure how it is rated so highly; can only assume they are fake ratings.
- David (10/5): Great hotel that would suit many Westerners. - Excellent hotel with great breakfasts. No problems at all although the bath is a bit of a risk if you are 6 feet tall.
- Michael (10/5): Good value - I give the hotel high marks. Keeping in mind this is a budget hotel, they performed very well and I'm happy with the accommodation. This was my second stay at the property.
- Zin (3/5): Poor - The room need to renovate.
- Sok (8/5): Very good -
- Richard (2/5): Not a good experience - Nothing we booked a room with bath , given only shower , restuarant closed and buffet breakfast poor
- Alvin (10/5): - Staff are polite and helpful. Most speak English quite well.
The breakfast buffet is nice as well.
- Rosamund (8/5): Very good -
- Thearith (7/5): New property, clean, the staff not so friendly - New property No
- Kaungsu (7/5): Good -
- Charles (4/5): Disappointing - Ok location Did not get room with balcony as was booked
- George (10/5): - Everything was excellent. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Special and big THANKS to PM Ratha he is such nice man and looking after his job very well. All hotels need people like him. He found time to help guests in all ways and any time. He helps to us a lot too. Thank you Ratha again and because of you we will recommend the hotel to everyone and we will be happy to back again.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The property was old and dingy. Nothing really stood out about it. It was just OK. If all you need is a place to sleep you can't beat the price. I was a bit annoyed because I could not use my credit card to pay. I had to go to an ATM and get money which cost me additional money. The English of the front staff was not good so communication was difficult.
- James (10/5): great for first timers - Great service. Great staff. Great advice. Would recommend and would stay again. Good starting point if you’ve never been to Cambodia before. Drive was patient and kind concerning our flight delay!
- Monica (4/5): Do not frequent this hotel. - This hotel was not very good at all. I booked the hotel for two nights. I paid before I arrived. I got there to find that the hotel had been overbooked. They found a different hotel for me, but it didn't have some of the things I like (hot water for example). I even saw someone else arrive and pay for a room after I was told I couldn't have the room I'd all ready paid for. The staff was completely unhelpful. Someone on their staff even broke into my luggage. I found myself sick the final day, and asked if I could stay after the check out time. They said sure and that they wouldn't charge me. Then they did.
- Christian (10/5): Great place to stay! - Excellent. This is now our hotel every time we go to Phnom Penh! Great value! Good breakfast as well.
- Simen (6/5): Noisy - If there's one thing you don't get to do much of at this hotel, it's to relax. The walls are paper thin, so between our neighbour showering, the traffic outside, the AC units and people coming and going from the elevator we didn't rest too much. Other than that, the room was in great condition. Breakfast was OK, WiFi was dreadful. If you're lucky with the room location it might be quiet-ish, but I wouldn't recommend for people bothered by noise.
- Helmut (6/5): - So I don't know why my expectations were high when I was paying 35$ for a night. Maybe it's because I was in Cambodia.
The room was not clean. It was not matching the pictures they were showing on expedia. The bathroom was not clean.
Their breakfast buffet is very limited. And the food was not good. I really did not enjoy my stay there.
- Marc (8/5): Phnom Penh visit - Helpful staff and clean hotel with good location for restaurants and getting around.
- Neil (8/5): - They gave us a nice cold glass of mango juice on arrival which went down like a treat
- Patti (8/5): Relax Hotel - Very clean and friendly staff. Breakfast mostly Khmer food, buffet style. Hotel's idea of an airport schuttle is to provide a Tuk Tuk or cab for customer to use. $12 from hotel to airport and $15 from airport to hotel. Good location.
