• Chris (9/5): Very solid, affordable stay about 1 hour and 15 minutes away from Talladega Superspeedway. - The room was quite clean overall. It had great amenities like a good microwave and fridge. The beds were quite comfortable. The bathroom especially (shower, sink) seemed quite clean. I didn't do a detailed inspection but that's how it seemed to me. No odor noticed and certainly no bugs. There were some stains on the ceiling which I barely noticed. But they were there, and decently-sized. There was also one red stain on my comforter (not blood I hope lol), but I just kinda slept on the other side from it. There were some cobwebs behind the above-the-bed lights which I would've liked to have seen cleaned. But ultimately nothing worth complaining about.

Poop smeared on the ceiling. Greasy sex handprints on the headboard. Bugs. There was an adjointing door in our room to the next room that was locked with a sofa. The room smelled like a meth lab.

If I have another situation like I did this time I probably would stay here again for 1 night. Maybe 😐.

I spent hours and hours cleaning this hotel up … The bathroom door was broke , stains on the sheets , the hair dryer didn’t work and the refrigerator was just filthy , but it was very spacious & staff was very sweet. Wood pieces with nails sticking out of them on the sidewalk by the room. Room was run down. Most of the electrical outlets didn't work. Roaches..pot smell through out the night. Mildew on the wall under the sink. Hole in the wall in the bathroom filled in with toilet paper. Was asked by a maintenance worker if I wanted a used chair they were getting rid of.

• Alana (10/5): - Everything about this property fits our needs. They accept dogs without any weight limits and it’s the only good hotel in town. It’s right in the middle of town. They are also doing consistent updates on things that were outdated.

• Lila (2/5): Old hotel, overpriced. - Location Very old property, furniture was pretty gross. It is one of those rooms you try and not look too close. These old hotels have 100 coats of paint, even if cleaned they don’t look clean. There was so much junk around the property that if someone took one hour and cleaned up it would look more presentable. I didn’t even want my pups close to the furniture. But they charged extra for my dogs who are cleaner than this room. Not a good value at all.

We go there frequently and I'm sure we will stay at the Key West Inn again. It's close to my Mother. And there are plenty of places to eat close by.

• Joseph (2/5): Will not stay there again. - The bed was comfortable. Ordered a non-smoking room and it smelled like a smoking. No TV service, small fridge was hot and musty, walls had holes, toilet was at an angle when you sat on it. Bathroom door wouldn't close due to toilet location. Cops showed up for 2 hours in the middle of the night due to someone fighting in the room next to us.

The smoke detector above the bed was off and the wires were hanging down, the conjoining door to the room next door had a couch pushed up against it because the door handle was busted off, and the sheets had semen stains all over them.

The pillow cases and bed sheets were stained, the roof of the bathroom looked like it was going to cave in. This place is nothing like the pictures.

• Kimpley D (2/5): - Hotel smells horrible. The rooms are dirty and dusty, if you could sleep in the bathrooms that would probably be the cleanest place in the entire room. There is going to be properties opening in the Roanoke area very soon; these properties are going shut down this filthy and disgusting place, as it has been taken over by a group of people that do NOT care about it's occupant. Electrical shortages throughout the entire room (plug in one thing & the other side of the room's outlet won't work). I will NEVER stay there again.
