Guest Reviews
- Scott (4/5): Rough one - The room was is in pretty rough shape for 94$ a night there were no blankets on the bed tv had like 4 channels
- Christina (2/5): - One of the nastiest hotels I’ve ever stayed in, didn’t even stay the whole four nights I was supposed to stay. the only reason why we stayed the first night because it was too late to go find another hotel.
- Susan (6/5): Scary - Scary, since a drunk kept pounding on our door & wouldn't leave. He was also trying to get in. No phone in room & no hotel number to call available besides 911 which my sister & I did not want to do.
- Coty (2/5): - Bad floors and toilet continued to run,dit not feel safe with thin walls,
- Jane (2/5): - The room was a non smoking room - but the comforters were full of burn holes. I asked for new ones and they said they were all bad. The staff was not friendly at all either. Locals were living there and it was super noisy by the major road as well as loud people partying outside the rooms.
- Brittany (10/5): Sun shine and comfort - Truly wasn't expecting what was served it met my standards of clean just out dated but microwave was spotless and not even dust on the t.v. the pool was nice when u had a couple of sun days to warm it and it was quiet. I stayed with my dad and my infant son and was comfortable lounging and enjoying the heat with the a.c. just steps away. Perfect area for dining and walking. Bus is only 1.50 to get to Walmart. I'd stay again.
- Julia (2/5): - Never stay at this property. Old, dirty, gross, and unsafe. This building should be knocked down.
- Breauna (4/5): - Staff was extremely pleasant.. but…. We asked for non smoking room, was definitely a smoking room. The entire room and everything in it more than reeked of a deep ashtray stench. Left this morning smelling of it. The floor was sticky and caving in. Holes in the ceiling and doors. Sheets were stained. Bathtub stained, hair and stains on the towels. Toilet was the only really usable part of the bathroom. Would have been more passable for 45 or so but for 100/night, not great. :(
- Esther (2/5): - The rooms are dirty, beaten up and you can tell it has not been taken care of. Please go somewhere else for a little bit more you can have a nicer place.
I booked a nonsmoking room and we got a room smelling pretty bad even the bed sheets were burned out. Terrible experience.
- Richard (10/5): Travel is good - It was what we were expecting and will stay again when we pass thru.
- Demetrius (10/5): - Staff were nice
- Tracy (4/5): - The bathroom exhaust fan was hanging off ceiling and did not work, toilet would not flush. There was no blanket or comforter on bed. Water handles in shower were loose from the wall.
- Sarah (6/5): - The staff was friendly. The room was falling apart. Literally falling apart. Probably the dirtiest smelliest hotel room I have ever stayed in my entire life. I should’ve read the reviews.
- Mike (10/5): Best price - The cheapest hotel in town. Friendly staff.
- Michael (8/5): - Price is right for the room. Older but was just fine
- Gary (2/5): - It was probably very nice in the 1970’s but is old and falling apart. I always try to give the benefit of the doubt, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful, but the rooms were terrible….
- Malisha (10/5): - Nice little spot by the river.
- Kim (10/5): - It's on thee river
- Esther (10/5): - The staff is amazing, quiet and clean
- Rocci (6/5): - The staff was very friendly and helpful in every way. We were disappointed in the state of the room, very run down and needed an update. We had a small dog and felt we got a room that was in rough shape due to the pet. If we could get a better room we would stay here again because the staff was so friendly.
- gregor (4/5): - room outdated price was high for quality of room, bathroom was dirty and outdated
- Karen (6/5): No bugs at least? - Just a place to get cleaned up and sleep. Not very clean but ive seen worse. No bugs at least?? Asked for clean towels and he looked at me like i had two heads. Got pool towels in return.
- Nancy (2/5): - Nothing
- Radovan (2/5): - Worst room ever.
- Gladys (8/5): - Easy parking
- Maria (2/5): Stinky and decrepit hotel - Check in was fine except the lobby smelled of cigarettes the minute I opened the door. The room was large, but furnishings are very old. The room. Had cigarette odor. The carpet is dirty, the toilet is very low, the towels were stained and paper-thin. There was no blanket on the bed. There was an old blanket on a rack which had no hangers. First and last time that we'll stay there. Overpriced considering the condition of the room.
- Ryan (10/5): - A great non chain option
- Jeffrey (2/5): Horrible - It was by far the worst hotel I have ever been in , no hot water and the gap in the door was so large that I had to stuff a half of roll of paper towel as a gasket to keep the bugs out . You could out into the parking lot the gap was so big , not safe . It smelled so bad of mold I could only stay there one night. Safe yourself don’t ever stay there , that place should be condemned!
- Janice (2/5): - Terrible, door had gaps not at all safe to stay there.
- John (4/5): - I had to switch rooms 2 times due to problems with the room Coffee machine wasn't cleaned
- KARL.E (8/5): Our stay - The hotel needs a little fixing up but it was comfortable
- Yarimel (10/5): - Good
- Roger (8/5): - I was gone most of the time. My room was just for few hours sleep and a shower.
- Julia (2/5): Be informed before you go. - We booked 2 pet friendly rooms and were told when we got there that the pet policy was 1 dog per room under 40 lbs. No way is this policy stated expect on a sign at the check in window!
- Lorie (2/5): - Looks fair on the outside, but wait until you get into a room. We reserved a deluxe king only to find nothing deluxe about it. The tub enclosure had been repainted probably several time and consequently the paint was peeling and the mold and filth was disgusting. Did not take a shower here. Be forewarned the clientele here was very seedy.
- Joseph (2/5): - The room is not clean. There are some trash under the bed. Furnish is falling apart. The Tv is half display. The carpet smells and ripped off. One room smells like cigarettes. We asked to move. The staff was so nice. Very helpful. Overall this hotel needs to be renovation completely.
- Amanda (2/5): - The room was Terrible didnt bring us new towels I had to take our used ones up to the desk and they said they would get me new ones. Worst hotel I ever stayed in will not be going back there that for sure.
- Keri (6/5): - Price was cheapest I was ae to find, but not worth what was being charged, BIG dead bug in drawer, blood on bathroom wall, went to ask for comforter & was told its Florida there are none, tv picture was bad
- Kenneth (2/5): - The place was dirty. Both bed spreads were stained with what appeared to be blood stains. Management stated they couldn't do anything about that. Room was not made up between days stayed. Did get towels. Bathroom door had holes & bottom was eaten up. Refrig didn't work - black tape trying to keep door closed. Bathroom sink was badly stained brown. Low water flow in shower. Bathroom sink was delaminating.
- amber (10/5): - everything was great thank u
- sandra (2/5): - Riverside Inn was horrible. There were several shady characters outside the rooms. And when i opened the door to my room the bed wasnt even made, the chair had stains, the room smelled nasty , the shower curtain had mold, and there were thick dust in the wall of the shower. Do not stay at this hotel!
- Lee (10/5): - Place was ok, liked all rooms you could back up to the door. TV was non existent.
- Jonet (6/5): - Location was very good. Everything is within 5 minutes.
- Maura (2/5): - Absolutely horrible. The place is a dump. Guests were rude and loud. Management did nothing to assist in helping with rude, loud guests. Individuals were smoking right outside my room which then caused my room to have cigarette smoke, which I am allergic too. I called front desk and nothing was done.
- Steven (6/5): On nights enough - This hotel could use a complete remodel on the inside and out. The bathroom was the biggest, as a new sink, tub, door, and shower curtain was in vary poor condition.
- Barbara (2/5): Will never stay again - The rooms smelled horrible, the door to the room had a huge gap where you can see everything inside the room, the wall a/c is dirty and super loud, the bathroom were disgusting, the water in the sink smelled horrible, the towels have stains and still smell used, blood on them, the floor is dirty, the gentlemen (heavy set) in the office is beyond rude,
I mean if you don’t like your job quit no one can be that miserable and be in customer service.
- Tom (2/5): - Disgusting
- Karen (4/5): - Unfortunately, the property is in need of improvements. The bathroom plumbing was poor and inadequate. Could not use the tub & shower as the fixtures were broken. The towels and bed linens were clean, but very much used and need replacement. The rug was not as clean as one would expect. Would not recommend.
- Margaret (10/5): - Great
- Debrah (2/5): - It was a dirty, old place. Carpet filthy with debris on it. Lady that checked us in was nice.
- Richard Moralis Sr (10/5): - Use this motel whenever in area always have available rooms.
- Jay (8/5): - No deposit was required to stay at the property, quiet surroundings, fantastic Restaurant nearby, staff was very accommodating.
- kevin (2/5): - Dirty. Bugs. Disgusting.
- Kevin (2/5): - THIS PLACE IS A DUMP!! Walked in the room and walked out!!! The health department needs to shut this place down!! Absolute filth!!! I wouldn't let my dog sleep there!!! Do Not Stay Here!!!! Buyer Beware!!!!!
- Rich (10/5): - Very quiet nice place
- Melody (8/5): Weekender - This is definitely low budget but it is in walking distance to 7 bar/ restaurants including Gilldogs. Gilldogs has a music venue.
- Amy (2/5): DUMP!!! - Worst scumbag motel EVER!!! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!
- John (2/5): Cockroaches, run-down, unaccommodating staff - See title.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - There was blood on one bedspread and urine stains on the other. The sheets had food crumbs in them and were also stained with blood. The bathroom was filthy and the towels were stained. There were spiders and webs in the corners. We arrived late and I couldn't see how disgusting it was until daylight so I checked out early. When I told them about the blood they just said, "sorry about that" like it was not a big deal. They charged me for the extra day even though I didn't stay there.
- william (2/5): - It was filthy and disgusting. The bathtub had a ton of ants in it when we arrived. Plus the Uber driver Said it is a crack ho hot spot.
- Lisa (2/5): Don't waste your money - This is the seediest place I've seen in a long time. Everything was run down, badly stained, chipped, and there BEDBUGS! The towels were threadbare and had holes, the tub surface was stained and chipped. Every metal piece was rusted.
- Geoffrey (2/5): Disgudting - The first room was alright then we had to move to another room csuse wd hsd a dog it wax disgusting the remote for the tv didnt work the toilet ran all night and the tv screen had 4inches of white line on the tol. The reftigerator fidnt work. Ill never stsy there again
- Tammy (2/5): Nasty dirty smelly - This had to be the worse place to stay ever we walk in the 1st room the smell was horrible room was not fit for my kids to touch anything! I ask for another room witch was just as bad holes in the walls smell just as bad. This place seems more of a place the local drug accidents hangout not for a family vacation stop at all! Was so bad i made them refund my money and went and paid more to have a better location.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I can't stay. and left right the way. smell and dirty so bad. I need my money back
- Ana (6/5): - They need to learn how to clean before offers any rooms to the customers cause last night when I got here the restroom was so dirty and the room was with a really bad smell
- Verified traveler (2/5): - This place is disgusting,it absolutely needs to be shut down! The staff was great, our first room the floor was caving in and it was so hot and smelled like sour food, the ac went out then they tried put us in another room that was worse than that one…and the third room we were in smelled of mold and water damage. Then I realized the water was also disgusting! It smelled and I refused to use it
- Katrina (2/5): - My feet stuck to the bathroom floor, my pillow was the most ridiculous lumpy smelly thing, bed spread was smelly and had burn holes and no current alive bed bugs but definitely evident they were there before or someone with dirty shoes sleep directly on the mattress! Dirty and moldy carpet in a closed room with no ventilation hits your nostrils hard. Had there been another place close to why we were there overnight in the first place we would have left and gone elsewhere! BTW I had experience in hotel housekeeping helping my friend with Her hotel when she first took over.
- Susan (2/5): - Room was very dirty. No able to stand in front of sink as floor had been wet so much in sank about four inches if stepped on.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Very poor place, entirely unkept. You should think you’re staying in a halfway house.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The place was filthy
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Rate was high
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The place was very run down.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Pick another hotel - Absolutely terrible experience. They gave my room away and never tried calling or emailing me. I had to be up early and it took me 2 hours to find another hotel I had to pay double for. Do not go here.
- Jackie (2/5): - methville usa... that is all...
- Verified traveler (10/5): - River was amanzin you had no idea for reall, beautiful
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Quiet and peaceful. The house keepers work hard and deserve a raise.
- Sergio (4/5): - Very old, dirty bathroom. Staff nice and helpfull.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Nasty. - This was the worst place I have ever attempted to stay. The lady at the desk was nice but the room furniture was completely worn out. What looked like vagrants were hanging out in doorways of other rooms. We looked around and left. My wife was afraid the tires on our vehicle would be stolen during the night.
- Miranda (8/5): - Staff was nice n friendly n we arrived way b4 checkin time but they still let us check in.
- Thomas (2/5): DIRTY HOTEL - Poop in tub. Mold on fridge & yellow stuff in fridge
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Online view its in a good location. When you there its horrible there were bug wings on the bed. The floor was weak and separating in the bathroom. Will not ever go back.
- georgena (2/5): - This place was the worst motel we have ever stayed in. nothing worked in the 75 dollar filthy efficiency. The pics are nothing close to what this place is.i asked for them to adjust our check but they did not and could not.their own employees have complained. There are several drug addicts living at this run down establishment.i am going to get my money back
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We enjoyed ourselves and the staff was very attentive
- Verified traveler (6/5): Poor - Employees were very very nice not very clean rooms there was candy wrappers in the corner. The floor in the bathroom was very weak thought we were going to fall through it the refrigerator was dirty. If you have nowhere else to go and you have to rough it I guess it would be okay but not for something with two children
- Kameron (2/5): - The room had carpet from the 80’s and there were small pieces of food like cherry sours and goldfish on the carpet.
The sheet was so thin and tub was disgusting.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The room was nice. The room was clean. The nouse level was low.
- Steve (6/5): - Staff was very helpful.
However breakfast was supposed to be included but thry only had it on weekends.
- WILLIAM (2/5): Horrors - I have never in all of my travelling days stayed is such a place of bad bad bad . The place was worse than most places I have stayed in my travels to Haiti. We had booked 4 nights and left after one night. gave the room to some one in need. Never again
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Started off bad from the moment i checked in. Had to check in through a window from outside and it was freezing, they took their time checking us in as well, got to the room and noticed right away the deteriorating condition of the place. There was a hole the size of a softball where the cable was coming through, the sink had so much hard water build up i had to brush my teeth and wash up with bottled water, i was scared to use it! Bed was partially made, no comforter, just a blanket we had to put on ourselves.... The floor was creaking and uneven, almost fell walking down the slope, it caught me off guard. The heater made a horrible noise all night long and didn't get much sleep or froze cause we had to shut it off.. Im very disappointed in my stay!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - They unplug everything because it’s a fire hazard. The sink was patched with some sort of caulk really needed replaced. The heater didn’t work. The cable didn’t work. The floor was sagging rotten. The carpet was filthy. The staff can’t do two things at once. This could be a gold mine as it is right on the river with Restraunt’s and clubs within walking but I guess the owners enjoy running a dump.
- RiverSideInn (4/5): - The receptionist was very kind and helpful; she was always making sure that we’re confortable during our stay.
- Robert (6/5): Will be reluctant to return - The furniture was rickety and falling apart.
The light over the sink didn't work.
I didn't know they made pillows that thin.....
The staff was friendly and helpful.
Housekeeping was very good
- Jewel (2/5): - This hotel grounds has lots of potential, undoubtedly, as a business owner and regular business and leisure traveler, I totally see the potential here. But BIG PROBLEMS. . the head housekeeper with the red hair was busted by me smoking crack pipe in a adjacent room, across from my room, there's another problem, fat front desk guy named David, appeared to be malicious and overly concerned in a negative way, both managers, Indian couple appeared to lack confidence, professionalism or compassion. They instead appeared to be competitive and insensitive. Lastly, my sandals were stolen, my attempts to reach the management couple proved fruitless. But on the bright side, there was a sweet old lady that worked day shift that was impeccable with welcoming, friendlyness, professionalism, helpfulness and genuine care and concern. There was also a wonderful housekeeper with extremely long hair and an equally long personality, she played with my child, was loving, sincere, motherly and full of Glee, we treasured our encounters with her during our stay. Great ground, great location, though! Wouldn't stay again, most of the staff needs to go!
- Michelle (2/5): - The room smelled musty. There was a large burn hole in the carpet as soon as you walked in the room. (Baseball size or maybe larger) Among other stains on the floor and walls. The TV had many channels with no sound and many others with blurry picture or lines throughout them. The toilet seat was too large for the toilet bowl and the tank would continue running after flushing unless you jiggled the handle just right to make it stop. The shower had very weak water pressure and would barely get warm. It was also missing pieces to the shower handles. The shower curtain had mold in the folds. And the refrigerator smelled like freezer burn and barely kept 3 drinks cold. Completely dissatisfied.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Expedia and river side both stole my money so i had to sleep in my car
- Cindy (2/5): Smokers motel - Asked for non-smoking room. It smelled heavily of tobacco. Left with my clothes smelling like smoke. From what I could tell from the parking lot and other guests everyone smoked there.
- Gerald (6/5): Riverside - I thought the website said they had breakfast and they do not it was a little dirty
- Verified traveler (2/5): - cockroaches, holes in wall ceiling etc, poor plumbing(did have hot water),walks littered trash/leaves
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I only liked the pool thats when it was clean that is after 2days of my stay it was dirty..the room was nasty..had blood on the wall and towel didnt work sink didnt work to great either...i stayed there for 6nights and the man in office charged me for 7nights...i will never stay in this place again nor will i tell my friends about this place...its a dump..
- Verified traveler (2/5): - We paid for a king size room. The morning after our first night the owner came and told us even though we paid our pet fee there are only three rooms where they allow pets. These rooms have no carpet and two full size beds and are nasty. We got moved over to one and a couple hours later noticed bedbugs. So we went to the office and got moved back where we originally were. They no longer have continental breakfast and the pool was locked up most of the time. We will never stay there again and you should not advertise for them.
