- Kay (7/5): The staff were great and the food was outstanding. Once the heat was on in the bedrooms it was lovely and cosy. - It was accessible, suitable for our needs . It was freezing, it would have been great if the heating was on before we arrived.
- Padraig (8/5): -
- Calvin (9/5): - Restaurant and bar right next door Location and the slightly high price
- Sheila (8/5): Enjoyed our stay. Service was exceptionally good but lacked atmosphere. - Didn't have breakfast. I have mobility problems and check in changed us from 2nd floor to 1st floor without us asking
Was a lovely idea. Evening meal not served in the bar would have been good. No atmosphere.
- Dr George (8/5): A thoroughly enjoyable stay. I will certainly recommend the Cohannon Inn. - Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Very good dinner and breakfast. Excellent car parking. Well appointed bedroom with everything a person needs for an overnight stay. Very friendly and efficient staff. Excellent Wifi. The mattress was just too soft for me - I prefer a firmer one - that is not a criticism but simply personal preference.
- Sebastian (7/5): -
- Gabrielle (2/5): Hot, bug, clamy, won't be back - I liked the shop beside the hotel and the food that we order within Cohannon inn. The ear bug in the bed, the no air condition and it being that hot my baby couldn't sleep, no fridge to keep my babies milk cold, no lift I have to carry a pram and car seat up 2 flights of stairs and staff didn't help me after I asked was there a lift, she seen what I had to carry up and left me to it.
- daniel (10/5): -
- Frances (5/5): Very basic - INPROVMENT AROUND MODERISING ROOMS
HEADBOARDS LOOKING OLD
BATHROOMS COULD BE UPDATED
- Finian (7/5): -
- John (7/5): -
- Slade (8/5): - Good value motel, very welcoming and helpful staff. The large room was clean and comfortable. Ideal for a night's stay if travelling. Wi-fi was efficient. The breakfast (an additional £9.95) was generous and included cooked breakfast and hot drink. Light lunch was also good. The hotel is a little dated, especially in the public rooms. The dinner was quality was variable, which was disappointing compared to other meals.
- Donald (5/5): -
- Maia (6/5): -
- Conor (4/5): Expensive for poor standard of accommodation. Very cold. - Good location, just off the motor way. Staff at check in were friendly. Room was baltic on arrival. Not hearing on. Storage heaters in room, took several hours to heat room and then room became stuffy. Mold in corners/on grout in bathroom. Very expensive for standard of accommodation.
- Ann's Alterations (10/5): We had a fab time - The property was warm clean and very comfortable A bit of a maze but didn’t detract from a lovely stay
- patricia (7/5): Convenient for killyman wedding. - It is what it is - basic, no fuss or frills but spotlessly clean and handy for wedding at local venue.
- Thomas (6/5): -
- Hilary (8/5): -
- Elizabeth (7/5): - The space in the executive suite. There was underwear left in the bedside drawer.
Towels were replaced but the old ones were left on the floor outside the bathroom.
- Graham (1/5): Didn't stay. Room was damp and cold. - Not much. The room smelled of dampness and was showing mould in the bathroom. I have chest issues so decided to leave and find alternative arrangements. Very poor standard of room.
- Stephen (3/5): If the price was cheap it would be perfect for a short stay. seen as it’s€100+ per night it’s terrible value - Nothing Beds are uncomfortable and rooms were freezing
- Sejonaite (1/5): -
- Moore (7/5): - Well the food was nice The rooms
- Liene (8/5): -

- Derek (4/5): Convenient but basic - Close to Road, good parking, petrol station near by, convenience shop near by, bar/restaurant attached Rooms are very basic , corridors musty
- Anna (5/5): Staff were lovely! - The bathroom was dated, dirty & the towel rail had masking tape around the pipe which is a fire hazard
- Alicja (10/5): -
- Elaine (9/5): - Just what our party of 10 needed for an overnight stay.
Room was basic but clean and warm.
Lovely food served at the main rrestaurant. That is was only 1 night!

- David (8/5): -
- Barbara (5/5): - The room was quiet and clean Service in restaurant wasn't great. Had to wait at least 25 mins for food and they were not busy. The food wasn't that good either, especially breakfast.
- Maria (10/5): -
- Gerhard (5/5): - Keine Heizung, funktionierte nicht . Es war sehr kalt im Zimmer.
- Mcdaid (5/5): Was ok - Only 2tea bags would have liked a biscuit bed was small for two people but overall not bad for the price
- Stuart (10/5): - 2nd time for wedding again early check in which was perfect
- Diane (10/5): -
- james (6/5): Give the rooms a miss, - This is a road sideinn, room only was rate available here, breakfast was extra, the rooms are just ok, no soap, no shower gel, empty container left in bathroom, had to search for toilet paper, bar closed at 9.30pm summer time. Breakfast was served hot and food was very good,
- Mark (7/5): Ideal location. - Location was great
- Stuart (10/5): - Early check-in was granted as we were at a wedding thanks to the staff for accommodating
- Noemí (5/5): Tipico motel antiguo. - La señora fue muy agradable y muy amable. Era muy antiguo.
- Owen (8/5): Good basic hotel, good food and Guinness - Really nice staff and very accommodating, food basic but good lovely breakfast too, room a bit basic but we only needed to sleep and the bed was comfy, this is our 2nd visit in a couple of weeks so that tells you everything, even traveled 30 mins to get here
- Isobel (8/5): - Breakfast was beautiful. I got the mini fry n coffee and it was delicious. I did have an evening meal which again was perfect. Location was ideal for us, close to M1. Garage n Spar was right beside hotel The hand soap dispenser didn't work. There were not enough sockets in the room. One for tv n only one spare which wasn't enough for charging fones for 2 people however that wouldn't put me off straying there again
- MaryLou (8/5): - Convenient for our travels. Staff were wonderful. Walls a little thin.
- Trevor (5/5): -
- Dil (9/5): The location was secure and clean - Breakfast was good. Reasonably priced. Plenty for me. Bar shut early 😒.
- Trevor (8/5): - Value for money, excellent food
- Joan (7/5): - Convenient and comfortable Everything closed at 10
- Caroline (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brian (4/5): Disappointing -
- Ian (8/5): Very good - Everything
- Joan (9/5): Superb - Clean and spacious room Staff seem to be unsure of check in process .
- Sarah (3/5): Poor - Was basically a glorified motel 6. Staff was rude upon check in and the restaurant had very bad service. After paying the same price for some lovely bnb's and inns, this one really let us down
- Christopher (8/5): Very good -
- Eileen (3/5): Disappointed but make the best of it - Breakfast..location The room smell of damp move us to another room. Telly wasn't working right change it for another. Cleanness could be better .second room needed updated
- Suzie (10/5): Superly dooperly stay - It has a great location N/A
- Anthony (1/5): Never again 🫣 - Shit 💩 Smiley and old damp room
- Catherine (8/5): Very good - Staff very friendly and helpful 👍
- Robert (10/5): Staff were very friendly and helpful. I was there for my best friend’s daughter’s wedding. I had a lovely time in County - Convenient for getting to my friends’ village every day. N:A
- Fintan (8/5): Family gathering. - Staff were excellent N/A
- Christina (10/5): Exceptional - The food was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
- Lisa (8/5): Very good - Great location value for money. Staff lovely very Friendly.
- Shaylor (10/5): Exceptional - Well situated for travel in all directions in the area. Very friendly staff - nothing was too much trouble. A local general store was handy too Limited menu choice for non-meat eaters and vegetarians. It seems that these days when booking bed and breakfast you are lucky if breakfast is included. In this case it was not a snall enterprise but more of a motel. In this context it was good
- Stas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eileen (5/5): Adequate for an over night stay at a reasonable cost. - Had an enjoyable dinner . Our bedroom was clean and adequate for what we needed for a one night stay . However the pillows were not great and should be replaced to help a more comfortable sleep .
- Pat (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (8/5): - All good. Probably need’s updating.
- Geraldine (5/5): Passable -
- Majella (6/5): Pleasant -
- Darrin (8/5): Very good -
- 670jond (2/5): Just awful - Staying for 1 night due to a business meeting in the area. Jordan - one of the waitresses, was friendly, polite and professional.
After dropping my bags in my room & getting changed out of my suit, I decided to head down to the bar for a pint.
An extremely rude woman with blonde hair told me ‘I think you’ve had enough’ (I’d literally just arrived, come straight from a business meeting and hadn’t had a drop of alcohol for days).
I was completely taken aback by such appalling customer service.
Oh, and the food was.barely edible too. Pre- cooked, microwave reheated garbage.
Avoid this place like the plague.
- Sarah (7/5): Good stay, friendly staff. - We needed an early check-in as we were attending a wedding near by and the staff accommodated this.. The room was extremely hot. It has been warm weather, but maybe air conditioning in the executive rooms would be a good add in the future.
