- Freddie (9/5): Perfect. - The room was lovely and the food was amazing. People have recommended it to me for years and it was great that it lived upto the hype. Nothing.
- Mike (10/5): - Food exceptional. Worth a visit alone.
- O (6/5): - Quiet, near sea, quite nice food Small room, pokey bathroom, expensive, staff seemed pleasant but not too bothered, grubby paintwork in stairways, tired carpets
- Brian (10/5): Absolutely amazing stay . I will return. - Very comfortable. They gave me an upgrade. I arrived before 3 pm but the receptionist got me a latte while I waited for my room to be ready. I can’t fault the staff and the hotel. Amazing stay . Everything was perfect.
- Marian (10/5): Everything was brilliant..lovely spot, lovely food ,lovely staff especially Ronaldo - Amazing ..better than our expected Could have had caffeinated coffee in the bedroom instead of decaff
- Robert (9/5): -
- Poonam (7/5): Good but room for improvement! - The staff, facilities and location was great. Room was lovely and cozy whilst being a great size. Staff were attentive and helpful. Facilities generally were clean. Food and beverage offering, felt this was over priced and did not match quality or standard of the rest of the hotel.
- Keith (6/5): - Great location Accommodation is some way from the main property. Ok except when it is raining, which is isfrequently in north Norfolk.
- stewart (9/5): Would certainly stay again - Breakfast good. Evening meal - small portions and vegetables not hot- even when replaced
- Beverley (10/5): Opulent but cosy and great staff and location - Absolutely beautiful location and presentation was fabulous - Cust and welcoming. The staff were all really engaging and nothing was too much trouble. N/a

- Gary Ruth (10/5): We loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone. - foof and accommodation and definitely coming back again - It was well maintained, modern, clean and neat. Bed very comfortable and bath also good. Dinner in the evening was exceptional.
Even on checking out we were given bottled water for our journey home, this was very thoughtful and never experienced this before. Only little thing was my poached egg at breakfast was hard.
- Roger (8/5): Helpful staff and a good base for exploring the area. - Excellent breakfast Cold bathroom

- Rachel (8/5): Beautiful location with stunning food - Beautiful location, open fires in the bar and lounge areas. Room was lovely with thoughtful touches. Received two bottles of water for our journey home when check in out. Gardens were stunning and such a nice view when eating in the conservatory area. I felt the rooms could have been tidied up a little bit. Wardrobe door didn’t shut. The bed wasn’t that comfortable and the herb garden rooms were a little noisy.
- Alison (9/5): Lovely birthday weekend - Breakfast and evening meal were excellent. Room was also very nice. Nothing
- Martin (9/5): - Excellent location, in view of the sea and a few minutes drive from the RSPB Bird reserve.
We were given a room upgrade, staying in the Oyster House - a little cottage with bedroom cum lounge and bathroom. It 2as roomy and warm, with lots of hot water.
The meals were delicious and served by friendly staff. It was all good
- Sarah (10/5): Wonderful stay in a beautiful location, fabulous food, room and great service from friendly staff. - Wonderful location on the beautiful north Norfolk coast. Our room was exceptional and both dinner and breakfast were very high quality with excellent locally sourced ingredients. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We will come back!
- Patrick (8/5): Mainly very good. - Nice hotel. Very good breakfast. Friendly staff. Lack of cheaper food offers for supper.
- Alan (8/5): Excellent hotel but the menus were too expensive, with very few simple options. - The bedroom and the hotel lounges The menu and its prices. It was far too sophisticated with very few simple options at reasonable prices. Ridiculously highbrow for the simple visitor.
- Emma (10/5): -
- Martin (10/5): -
- Luane (10/5): Stunning room with everything you could need including a full size dining table. Ample tea and coffee with fresh milk in - Beautiful setting, cosy open fires and food for for a king
- Tim (9/5): Comfortable stay in an ideal setting for what we wanted - Location very convenient for what we planned to do.We had an upgrade to a bigger room which was nice and cosy.Breakfast was included and it was really good.Nice and warm, important in January
- Michelle (8/5): -
- Cheryl (9/5): We were celebrating our first year together and I would definitely return - I loved it and would return again, but my partner would not, because of the dinner menu My partner would have preferred a more traditional menu of a roast being offered, particularly on a Sunday or some sort of pie. He felt the food being offered was too full of ' extra decorative bits' on justify the prices
- Brian (8/5): - Breakfast was very good and a goos selection of options. The dineer options were also very good if not a little too expensive. All of the wine is overpriced.
- Carly (8/5): - Breakfast was delicious. Bed was very comfy. The room was warm and welcoming. No taxi service. Wine was expensive.
- Mark (9/5): Lovely day and stayed over night will definitely go back - I liked the hotel staff very friendly would chat and go out of there way to help chief very good loved the meals and the breakfast I'm dairy free so they went out of there way to help bar area with comfy couches were very nice to sit in the evening Hotel room was lovely bed comfy shower great and a sea view beach great and not too far Nothing
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional - We stayed for our daughter’s wedding and the staff were just incredible! Especially the manager Andy and the reception lady, Nichole! They made the occasion so relaxed and enjoyable and took away all the stress. Location stunning and rooms gorgeous and comfortable. Nothing
- Jane (5/5): Disappointing, I'm afraid. - It was very nice to see Diane (a familiar face from the past) again. I have visited Titchwell Manor many times over the past 20 years, when it was owned and run by Margaret, and her son Eric was the chef. Then the service was great and the food excellent. The management had, unfortunately changed a fortnight before our visit in mid September (our wedding anniversay), and it felt as if the staff were "finding their feed". They were very pleasant, but made several basic errors: forgetting to order our main course at dinner, unable to mix a Bloody Mary to the previously high standard (the girl on reception was also standing in as the "barman", and had clearly not been trained on how to mix cocktails). Despite having ordered the Guardian and having handed over our vouchers, the newspaper never arrived on either of the 2 days of our stay. Our room was immediately beside the road, and there was considerable traffic noise in the early morning. We felt that the food was excessively fussy and very creamy: it's better to let good ingredients speak for themselves!

- Helen (7/5): Lovely restaurant but room only okay and with terrible lighting - Everything downstairs was perfect, really cosy and a warm welcome. Delicious food and great service. The bedroom was fine, nothing special but a comfy bed and good quality bedding. But the lighting was another story …… The lighting in the bedroom was (I’m sorry to say) just awful. The overhead light was so dim it was hard to see anything, and the bedside lamps were the worst I have ever seen. Bright cold white balls, that have horrid effect. Too low to read unless you weee lying down and the glare of the cold bright white off the page made reading impossible.
- Martin (9/5): It was my first stay away after my wife died recently and I was made to feel very welcome. - good food and pleasant staff the room(12) was above some extraction vents and i could hear its motors 90 percent of the time i was in the room. It was very cold when i arrived and it may have been nice to have put the radiators on prior to my arrival. i did turn up early so may be my fault. I would not want that room again..
It would have been beneficial if the dinner plates had been warmed. I am not a fast eater and my Pork got cold quickly. These items would not stop me from returning.
- Jonathan (9/5): -
- Anne (10/5): Lovely location, excellent welcoming staff and very nice food. - The staff were excellent, the food was very good and once the heating was sorted out the room was comfortable Problems withe heating (my room ,my sister’s room and at least one other guest) should have been solved before we arrived. The team eventually got it sorted and gave a generous compensation.
- Wayne (8/5): - Great view and lovely staff. The best breakfast I have had in a uk hotel Some minor cleaning issues such as ring marks on bedside table.
- Howard (5/5): Bit disappointed - Breakfast was good and the position is stunning Room and public areas. Looking a little tired and not particularly clean. Food I felt was pretentious and not very good
- Clare (9/5): Quiet comfy stay in beautiful hotel with excellent food and drinks. - Lovely quiet room with huge bath. Good array of tea/coffee facilities. Dinner was great and nice
Cocktails enjoyed in front of a log fire. The tv didn’t have many channels available.
- Derren (9/5): -
- Stephen (4/5): Very disappointed at the end after a good start - Breakfast average.
Location fantastic Day 1 staff were brilliant; day 2 however were unhelpful. Heating failed on day 2 with no apologies.
- Sharon (9/5): Outstanding stay - The location, the view from our room even tho it was a short stay The room was cosy comfy and had all that we needed. Shower gel , hand soap . Plus tea and coffee for the afternoon, and an early morning drink before the amazing breakfast we had .
- Victoria (10/5): Perfect - I recently stayed at this hotel with my poorly dog, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The staff treated him like an absolute king from the moment we arrived, which meant so much during a stressful time. The food was amazing—far better than I expected—and the room was incredibly comfy and cozy. Their kindness and attention to detail made our stay truly special. Highly recommend! Nothing.. having to leave!
- Doggett (8/5): - Food good. A morning newspaper was offerred but didnt arrive until well after breakfast closed. Would be better not to offer one if availability is unlikely until late morning or pm.

- John (9/5): -
- Barrie (9/5): -
- Richard (9/5): - Lovely spacious comfortable room, Location perfect for exploring the coast and birdwatching. Breakfasts were good, with friendly staff.
- boss (6/5): Nice property slightly overpriced - Spacious property, clean and comfortable Creeky wooden floor, nothing special for price
- MARY (9/5): Would definitely recommend staying at Titchwell Manor - The staff were extremely polite, professional and helpful. Great menu and good chef. The hotel was very comfortable and well decorated although in need of some tlc eg. Windows needed painting and repairing, as did wals and woodwork. Very clean and cosy. Didn't have any dislikes!!
- natasha (10/5): -
- Kirsty (9/5): The perfect stay for a getaway exploring the North Norfolk Coast line. - A beautiful building set right on the coast with lovely views and a cosy yet luxury feel. We had an upgrade which gave us a bigger room for our stay and the room was lovely. We had everything we needed and the staff were brilliant. We chose to eat there both nights as the food was amazing and breakfast included was a nice start to the day. Lovely coffee! The rooms must have quite think walls as you can hear when next door were showering quite loudly. This didn’t bother us massively though.
- Robin (10/5): -
- Richard (9/5): Perfect base for a couple of days walking and bird watching - Room was very clean, comfortable and modern. The Nespresso machine with pods was very much appreciated.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Food quality was excellent with a good choice of options for both breakfast and dinner Nothing!!
- Nigel (4/5): A wasted opportunity - Location and room size Failed to tell us the heating was broken - had to switch rooms but still needed to sleep with doors open to cool us down.
Dinner - halibut steak served luke-warm.
Scrambled eggs at breakfast poor.
- Tim (10/5): - Lovely staff! Nothing.
- Duncan (8/5): Friendly hotel, with exceptional breakfast. - Breakfast variety of choices and quality of the food was excellent. The in-house produced items were delicious and were a definite point of difference compared to many hotels I've stayed in over the years. Control of the room temperature was not easy. The instructions to achieve it were simple to follow, but the room remained very warm for our full two night stay. A testament to the insulation !
- Andrew (7/5): -
- Maria (8/5): Lovely hotel, room and reception staff, restaurant was a bit of a disappointment for the price - The lady that greeted us was lovely, room was big and clean The restaurant especially at breakfast was disorganised waited ages for our food and our starters at dinner were absolutely tiny, I had 3 cubes of salmon on my starter. The one chap in the restaurant was lovely the others quite dismissive not that experience I thought it would be from a good point of view.
- Sarah (10/5): -
- Sarah (8/5): Great choice for needs, would recommend - Very convenient for a wedding at a venue a couple of minutes walk away. Friendly staff that let us check in early. Comfy bed and lovely toiletries. Tasty breakfast. We couldn’t open the curtain (as there was no net and we were opposite a communal room in the main hotel)so that wasn’t ideal in the morning.
- Bernie (7/5): Loved the location - Great location It actually wasn’t that clean at closer inspection. The bar is SO out of keeping and just didn’t work as a welcoming space for a few drinks, sorry!
- Kevin (8/5): - Friendly people, comfortable accommodation, superb location
- Hall (8/5): Couldn’t fault the food or service, but for the price there are, in our opinion, better places - Location. We thought the food was good but the conservatory restaurant didn’t seem that clean. The floor needed a good clean and the windows were in need of cleaning.
- Michael (9/5): A restful stay in Norfolk - Food was excellent. Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. Nothing
- Adam (9/5): -
- Noelene (9/5): - Good selection of cereals, a few other options than usual for main breakfast, fresh baked cakes
- Michael (10/5): -
- Jake (6/5): The Good, The Bad & The Ugly: Location, Cleanliness, Misleading Room Upgrades and more. - Breakfast: good selection of sweet, savoury, cereals and yoghurt. Good quality inc tea/coffee. Professional and personal service.
Grounds: Really nice location and nice for the hotel to have a garden area to sit in.
Bar area: Very nice bar area with a good local drinks selection, well kept larger.
Orangery: nice location to have meals, good light for breakfast.
Toiletries: Collaboration with local company was a nice touch
View from Room: Sea/Marsh view. Misleading advertising: Paid for upgraded room and the room we got didn’t vaguely resemble the picture on the booking. The room advertised was modernised and spotless, the room we got had sage green and red carpet with stains and holes in.
Poor Value: £180 with 10% off (£208 actual) means the room should be spotless. I’d be disappointed at £120 about the basics not done well. If a premier inn can be spotless at £40 then you’ve got to work extra hard to justify the £168 difference.
Outdated and tired decor/furnishings in the room:
- Holes in Carpet
- Stains on the carpet
- Damage to the skirting boards
- Wallpaper lifting from skirting boards
Basics not done well:
- Kettle unusable due to lack of cleaning - limescale buildup
- Lampshade hadn’t been dusted in a long time
- Holes in the bed sheets
Bathroom Layout:
- Bath & Toilet were parallel with each other and made a tight squeeze, whereas there was a small bathrooms worth of space next to the sink where it should go. (Should you be planning on refurbing that room to look like the ones online)
- Lindsay (7/5): -
- philip mark (9/5): Lovely place to stsy - highly recommend - Lovely hotel great food and super staff Nothing
- Paul (8/5): -
- John (8/5): -
- Karen (10/5): -
- Andrew (10/5): - Extremely friendly staff, from the moment we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble, felt really well looked after. Nothing was all great
- John (10/5): -
- Levy (9/5): -
- Wendy (4/5): Disappointing. Hotel run down and service levels poor. - Location to Sandringham for concert. Very tired hotel. In need of refurbishment. Cleanliness an issue and generally wear and tear. Gardens over grown.
Breakfast was disappointing, small buffet, nothing refridgerated, just laid out on a table. Cooked food luke warm and service was slow.
- Helen (10/5): -
- Julie (7/5): Overall good. Staff, cleanliness and location was good. - Location was good. Very clean.
Excellent dinner and service First day breakfast there was a lot of shell in the egg and 1/4 of the advocado was black. This was resolved but should not have been served in the first place. Also do not replenish their buffet table.
Bed was a small double.
- Susan (10/5): Had a lovely overnight stay. Would highly recommend. - Rooms were very clean
Beds were comfortable
Lovely bathroom facilities
Gardens were kept beautifully
Helpful, attentive staff Nothing
