The front desk staff was very kind and helpful. 5 stars here! For a great hamburger and fries try Snack77. It was a nice change from more formal dining. The burgers were under 5 euros and the fries were 5 star!

Spacious room,, modern design but very cosy excellent breakfast with lost of choices of eggs, bread, fruit, toasts etc. Also super friendly staff, both at the reception and in the restaurant. It is not as easy to find and if it is raining you have to hurry to come to your room, because the door is outside. In the room you find a lot of space, a TV, a coffee maker, hair dryer and safe. The bath is huge, so there is a enough space for 2 person at the same time. The people at the front office and in the breakfast restaurant a really friendly and helpfull. To get a table in the restaurant in the evening is not so easy, so do your reservation in advance if you want to go there. The Food is very very good. You can park in the parking house not far away from the Hotel. I will come again

We took it for 173,— Euro + 37,— Euro breakfast for 2 people.Yes the location is very quiet and clean. The whole city loft is modern and welcoming.Never the less, we think 210,— Euro is for 1 night a little bit overpriced.Goes is a nice little town, not Amsterdam or Paris…

Goed gelegen tegen Grote Markt aan en parkeergarage om de hoek waar je via Katoen ook een korting op de parkeertarieven ontvangt. Als je in Goes wilt overnachten zou ik het wel weten. Ga hier naar toe.

A spa hotel should AT LEAST have sauna and Jacuzi for free (and hammam if possible). Paying for additional services like massage is normal, but NOT for the sauna.

- lionel (8/5): Nice weekend - We had a wonderful weekend in hotel Katoen.Beautiful hotel with fresh ideas. Very nice terras and friendly personnel especially the lady owner. There were a few things who were less: the comfortroom we stayed in was too small for Dutch standard. The diner was tasteful but we went somewhere els to eat fish and lobster (lobster is now very good in this season) the second night. We expected a more spe cial breakfast( 4 star hotel ).The buffet had good cold cuts and cheese,juices and fruitsalade. But the scrambled eggs we did not eat second day and there was only one tasty fresh bread . I was very surprised to see in the 'containers'where you find normally good warm stuff to see a lady fill them with bread coming right out a plastic bag and the FEW croissants and danish where very brown and not fresh. Luckily good coffee. We would like to visit again if they improve a few things. It could be outstanding but it is now only good.
- Troy (10/5): Location and Atmosphere - Hotel Katoen is nicely situated near the city center of Goes, a wonderful and charming town in Zeeland. The hotel is a nice combination of modern décor and Dutch/Zeeuse culture. We had a nice, hearty breakfast each of the days we were there, and I highly recommend eating dinner there as well. Overall a very pleasant stay!
