Sehr gut mit dem Auto erreichbar, 3 Minuten Fussweg... vom Parkhaus 10 Minuten Fussweg. Schöne, gut eingerichtete Wohnung. Kleiner, aber schöner Balkon. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, geräumiges Badezimmer, sehr gut funktionierende Klimaanlagen und aus dem Bett Sicht auf die Stadt! Der kleine Balkon benötigt eine Ueberholung: Verdorrte Pflanzen, trotz automatischer Bewässerung.... der Boden teilweise voll mit Taubenexkrementen... In der Duschkabine fehlt die Halterung für die Duschbrause...

It was easy to get around even with our suitcases. There’s a viewpoint nearby, and a famous gelato shop close as well. The bus stop is also conveniently located. The place was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioner worked well, although we hardly needed to use it because the apartment was already cool. I especially loved the terrace. ❤️ We were very happy during our stay here. 이곳은 위치가 일단 너무 좋습니다. 뷰포인트와 가깝고 역에서 캐리어를 끌고 들어오기에도 계단이 거의 없기 때문에 편합니다. 그래도 좀 걸어야해요. 에어컨도 빵빵하고, 침대도 편안해요. 테라스도 너무 좋았습니다. 숙소가 뷰포인트라 너무 더울땐 다른데 안가도 되고 테라스에서 시원하게 앉아서 실컷 경치구경 했습니다. 안좋은 리뷰를 봤는데 전혀 문제없었습니다. 와츠앱으로 소통도 잘됩니다^^ 너무나 추천합니다! nothing

Comfortable and had everything we needed. Easy check and self access was conveniente. Parking very close by was a real plus. In a busy area while great if you want to walk and enjoy the late evening with a lot of people it is also a bit noisy until the crowds leave at night.

• Ida Mae (10/5): Perfect location with the beautiful Sassi view from the balcony! - The location is perfect, ust 20 meters from Palazzo Lanfranchi and Piazzetta Pascoli. There’s Pay parking available nearby, which is very convenient. The apartment was clean, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with all the essentials. But the absolute highlight was the view from the balcony and window, the Sassi are right in front of your eyes and can be seen from the bed! You wake up and sleep with the Sassi in front of you. It was truly breathtaking, both by day and night. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful view. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful. They kindly allowed us to leave our luggage and explore the Sassi before check-in, since we arrived early. We would definitely come back and book this place again!

• Julie (10/5): Our visit to Matera is a very memorable one and staying at the Lo scorcio greatly contemplated to that wonderful experie - Location can’t be any better. You can soak in views of the Sassi from the apt balcony or from the bed. Belvedere, cafes and restaurants are right outside the apt and taxi pick up/drop off are a few steps away. The apt is very homey, spacious and comfortable for our 3 nights stay. The apt itself lent itself to having that experience of living in a rock house. We loved it!

It was easy to find following the instructions and about a two minute walk from parking the car. The apartment had everything you would need, sitting and dining area, a small kitchen, large bathroom with a great shower and a lovely bedroom with an amazing view. The location is ideal, plenty of resturants nearby, places to visit, beautiful walks. We loved our stay.

The balcony offers a wonderful view, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The staff is excellent and responds quickly to messages. During our stay, the mosquito screen on the balcony was broken, so we couldn’t open the balcony door due to the large number of mosquitoes. Additionally, the mattress was not in the best condition, with one side feeling uneven, like lying in a deep dip.

It was also close to the newer town so we were able to enjoy the energy of both parts of town. The view was phenomenal. The place was bigger than I had anticipated. The bed was much larger than a queen (but squeaked a bit). The owner was a fantastic communicator. Very quick to answer any questions and give suggestions. I liked the decor too. It had a small but very efficient kitchen. The bathroom was very roomy and the shower was luxurious. I would 100% recommend this place and would stay there again. Don’t even hesitate to book this fantastic apartment! Nothing of note.

• Michelle (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing location in the Sassi di Matera. The view from the balcony is outstanding. The apartment is so spacious and well appointed. You cannot get a better vantage point to view the spectacular scenery. It is so close to everything and parking was easily accessible for free just a short easy walk away. The owner was always at hand to help if needed. Would definitely stay here again. Exceptional. I really don’t like to be critical, but the bed does need replacing soon.
• Jennifer (8/5): Very good - The location of the apartment and the terrace is just fantastic. We were there in October and whilst the terrace didnt get the sun this was a bonus for us as it was lovely and cool and the weather was very hot. We loved having an aperitif there before dinner each evening. The original features, the roof, the exposed elements of the cave are just incredible and really differentiate this from just your average hotel. The light in the shower is really cool. Matera is the most magical place and you will not be disappointed. The apartment is well proportioned and feels spacious. It has been picked up in previous reviews but the mattress in the bed is not comfortable and if you are sharing with someone else you both sink into the middle. The bed is also squeaky. You can cope with this for a few nights though and the linen was clean. The property would benefit from a declutter as there are random bits of fluff and bits and bobs in the drawers and it would be a lovely touch to have some cold water in the fridge awaiting your arrival given water is so inexpensive in Matera. These are all very easy fixes and if done it would get a 10 out of 10 anytime. I wish the owners every success going forward!

• Erica (9/5): Lovely apartment with spectacular view - I had such a lovely stay in this apartment. The location is perfect as it’s near the plaza and close to many restaurants. Of course the view of the Sassi is incredible! Check in is very straightforward. They use a key code so you don’t have to carry a key card around. The hosts are easily reachable via WhatsApp. The apartment itself is lovely. It’s clean, cosy, and you’ve got a small kitchen with basic things you might need. I love that they provide different bins to segregate your rubbish. As the apartment is close to a viewing deck, there are lots of people passing by the apartment. Unfortunately, on our last night, huge groups of teenagers were hanging out at the viewing deck and kept passing by the apartment causing very loud noises as we slept in the living room. This went on for hours. This only happened on our last night which was a weekend.

• Masa (10/5): Fantastic place with the BEST views - Without a doubt, this is the best location you can have in Matera! Just on the edge of the no-car zone so we were able to find free street parking 5-min walk away (and there is a garage the same distance if you don't find street parking). The views from the apartment are out of this world. Being in the sassi area was so practical for sightseeing and just enjoying the atmosphere. The host was super responsive, even in the evening when we had questions about parking. The apartment is surprisingly big compared to the pictures with a nice big bathroom. The only thing that would make it better would be breakfast at the apartment so you can enjoy it on the terrace with the best views. That said, we found a great cafe with sweet and savory options on the square just above the apartment.
