Guest Reviews
- charles (10/5): - This is my first choice when staying in Paris. Staff is always fantastic, rooms are comfortable, bathrooms are modern. Highly recommend.
- azm (10/5): - Leandro was great ... Like the best ... I stay at the hotel regularly. They had a night cleark who misbehaved and did not let me sit at lounge at 02h00 ... I wanted to write ... Paying so much and not being able to use the lounge whenever one wants is ridiculous... The other night clerk is wonderful... I've complained already and hope they will replace that person as he's unsuitable for the job ... Thank you ... I'm still giving the place 5 stars
- Belinda (10/5): - I loved Hôtel Amoi and would 100% stay there again next time I'm in Paris. The location is perfect and right near all my favorite places in the city plus the room/bathroom was spacious with lots of natural light and a gorgeous view of the street. I didn't get a chance to use the sauna, but would highly recommend making time to do so.
- Rene (10/5): - Great location and convenient, friendly staff.
- azm (10/5): - I'll stay again. It's a bit expensive on "value for money scale "
That said - very decent
- Annie (10/5): - We loved this hotel and would definitely recommend. We arrived early on our check in day and they allowed us to access the room early as it was ready. It was clean, and the shower was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great Weekend in Paris - We had a great stay and the proximity to multiple metro stops made it easy to get around Paris! Lots of great restaurants and bars all within 5-10 mins walking!
- Miss (10/5): Well designed compact hotel in Paris, Canal area - Lovely wee hotel - compact! Lovely design and made feel welcome. Close to fab neighbourhood bakery Mamiche, and walking distance to centre of town and mooching around the Canal area. Rooms are small, two people would be very cosy, and also it wouldn't be that comfy for working from the small desk/stool area. Nespresso machine in every room and fizzy/ still water. Cups weren't cleaned each day etc, so lower score for cleanliness. But overall, definitely recommended.
- Angela (10/5): - Stayed for four nights and loved it. Location is near many metro lines and near Franprix for quick snacks and drinks. Hotel was clean and elegant, staff were extremely friendly and helpful (helped us uncork a bottle of wine; helped us make a dinner reservation because we couldn't call internationally). Room window opened up with a small Juliet balcony looking onto the street. Rooms included a Nespresso coffee maker and hot water kettle. TV was easy to use and we were able to log into our personal Netflix account (and it logged us out every time it was turned off for added security).
Would stay again! Thank you!
- Bernadette (10/5): - Great location, metro just down the street. Lovely hotel, friendly staff and some lovely cafes/ bakeries in the locality. I would definitely return and recommend.
- Craig (8/5): Recommend - Lovely clean room, helpful staff, great location. Bed was a little too hard for my liking and did not have mini-fridge but overall very good experience.
- miss (6/5): - The stay was pleasant but, there wasn’t much to do in the hotel. There was not restaurant or food for sale as far as I was aware. This hotel isn’t too far from the two main train stations so it conveniently situated.
Staff were nice, and hotel was clean. We paid extra for a larger room which was nice.
- Alejandro (10/5): - Great place to stay
- Diane (10/5): - Lovely hotel in the best neighborhood. You can go wrong with any of the eating options. The front desk staff are very friendly and the hotel is surprisingly quiet and very comfortable.
- vladimir (8/5): - Good room
- Nicole (10/5): - Loved this hotel. Would stay here again. I was worried the room would be too small but it was fine. Tons of cute cafes, bakeries, and wine bars down the street. The neighborhood does change quickly as you approach gare de l’est so be mindful if you are arriving at night. I would not want to walk in that area alone at night. My room was next to the elevator so it was a bit louder than I hoped. I could also hear the kitchen staff (I think) below in the early morning even though I slept with a white noise machine. Other than that the stay was perfect.
- Tayler (10/5): - Maxine at the front desk was fantastic. He was so helpful, friendly, and professional. The room is cute and great place to stay. I found it easy to get around to where I needed to.
- Chandni (10/5): - This property was excellent! Even though the room was small, the aesthetics made up for it.
The only thing that could’ve been better is that the bench in the room was shaky and the magnifying mirror in the bathroom too was shaky.
Other than that. This place was so good. And the staff was amazing and so very helpful.
- Michael (8/5): A good small spot for a short stay - A good small hotel, not far from railway stations. Good for a very short stay… just one night, in our case.
The room is very small, so do not expect to spend much time there other than to sleep and use basic facilities.
Fairly well located, but with some nearby areas where we felt uncomfortable.
Well maintained and fresh facilities.
- Jamie Kerr (10/5): - Great little hotel, beautiful rooms and easy access to metro lines
- Yogendra (10/5): - Quiet place for sound sleep. Nice restaurants around the hotel.
- Aikaterene (10/5): - The location is perfect, walkable to cafes and shops. Great area if you’re looking to stay in more of a locals neighborhood. The staff is amazing and everyone was helpful and lovely.
- Rebecca (10/5): - This was our second stay (we were here 2 weeks ago with my brother and sister-in-law also staying in the same hotel), and it was just as lovely as the first visit. So welcoming and overall just a nice place to be.
- Rebecca (10/5): - This is a lovely little boutique Hotel. It is attractively decorated, conveniently located. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The shower was lovely. It was a pleasure to stay there.
- trudy (10/5): - Great little hotel, perfect location, easy to get around the city. Great transport links. Would defo recommend this hotel
- Pamela (10/5): - It was our second visit to this hotel. The rooms are well designed so they are comfortable. The location is the best part- there are good restaurants right on the same street and it is easy to go anywhere in Paris. I highly recommend.
- Jeremy (10/5): - Fantastic hotel, super friendly and helpful staff, everything was spot on, thank you!
- Jamel (8/5): - Bed sheets need a wash
- Robert (10/5): - We were able to check in early, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
- Anthony (10/5): - Great neighborhood and location! The room was quite comfortable and the staff and breakfast was great!
- Lisa (8/5): Ok but not a recommendation for solo travelers - There is a lot to like about this hotel. The service is terrific. My room was small ( considered a medium size room) but adequate. Daily service but don’t expect clean sheets. Breakfast is ok but not worth $19. Rather go down the street to one of two excellent bakeries. République is lively but a bit sketch at night. Canal st Martin is also lovely but a walk through another sketch area. République metro stop had consistent issues with the ticket machines leading me to take a lot of Ubers. Most of what I wanted to do was either a long walk or an Uber ride away. If you are a solo traveler, I suggest other accommodations either in the Marais or 7th.
- charles (10/5): - What an amazing stay! I am an American traveler and the rooms for Paris are a generous size, especially the bathrooms. Everything is clean, in good working order (including the elevator) and the lobby has a cozy meeting space. There is an honor bar in the lobby and the breakfast for the price is fantastic. The location is ideal, close to two different Métro stops but it's very much in a neighborhood so the street is quiet and there are a ton of good cafés/bars and restaurants and you get more of a sense of an authentic Paris experience (not just a touristy one). However, what really sets this place apart is the bilingual staff. They were all so friendly and so willing to help with restaurant suggestions, getting a taxi. Special recognition must go to Simon went above and beyond with everything & helped me find a soccer jersey in a bigger size. I cannot give Hotel Àmoi a higher rating. I will stay here again when I return.
- michael (10/5): - Great stay!
- Benjamin (10/5): The best little hotel in Paris - Great room, friendly staff, delicious breakfast. Close to the metro and train to the airport.
- Adam (10/5): - The hotel, the staff, and our room were excellent! The people working at the front desk were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and modern. The hotel had a really great vibe and was situated in a fantastic location of the city for dining options and convenience to the Republique metro stop. We would happily stay again if we ever had the chance to return to Paris! Thanks for a great stay, Hotel Amoi!
- Bernadette (10/5): - A great location, 10 minute walk to major Metro station. Clean accommodations, helpful and friendly staff, and spa was a great amenity! Would stay again and highly recommend.
- Bryan (10/5): - great spot, recently renovated , walking distance from Gare Du Nord, and many great attractions and restaurants. I shall return.
- Lindsay (10/5): - Excellent hotel with great staff - all that we met were at least bilingual (english/french). It's in a busier area of Paris, but the street itself was quiet. Close to transportation and easy access to the major landmarks.
- Marianne (10/5): - I really liked the vibe. The young people that worked there were kind and helpful. Very hip and super eco conscious hotel!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Exceeded expectations! - This boutique hotel exceeded my expectations! The front desk associate at check-in was great, the size was big for Paris, the room was clean and well-decorated, and the location was central to shops and other sites. The bathroom amenities had everything I needed with a much welcomed essential oil activating hand shower head!
- Nick (2/5): - The desk clerk here creates an unsafe environment for women. He used his access to personal contact information to proposition a female guest with multiple unwanted personal text messages “after hours” that violated the privacy and feeling of safety and security of a paying guest deserves.
- Jonathon (10/5): Mid week business trip - Hotel is beautiful, well equipped and clean. 15 minute walk from gare du nord or two stops on the tube.
Bed was a bit hard but tends to be the case in France
- Elaine (10/5): - Great little place to stay and convenient for getting around
- D. Kerry (8/5): - We are accustomed to small hotel rooms in Paris, but this one sets a record. The bed is against one wall, and you can’t get in or out without climbing over your partner.
- Eileen (10/5): - Loved it
- Rana (10/5): - Excellent small hotel in Paris. Rooms are very small but that is to be expected. Everything else was perfect! We loved our location, every close to two metro stations and lots of options for food on the same street and around the corner. Very happy with our choice and would recommend it to anyone. Thanks!
- Daniel (10/5): - Great property, simple, modern but nice in a great area of Paris. A little walking to get to main attractions but this is a walking city
- Tak Kiu Margaret (10/5): - Nice boutique hotel in the 10th. Very convenient to metro stations, lots of great places to eat walking distance. Room is small but would go back.
- Elizabeth (10/5): - This is a charming little hotel with a big heart. Service was personalized with lots of thoughtful care to make for a warm experience. Highly recommended!
- Patricia (10/5): - This hotel is a smaller property set in a great neighbourhood with cafes, shops, markets and the Metro nearby. The staff is very friendly. The place is spotlessly clean and the rooms have everthing you need, including kettle, coffee machine, hairdryer bottles of still and sparkling water, toiletries etc. Rooms are on the smaller side, but room has good ventilation with heating and cooling systems for the prefect room temperature. We particularly liked the stylish bathroom with aromatherapy shower. We would definitely recommend this property to other couples and we would stay again in a heartbeat!
- augustin (10/5): - very friendly and helpful staff
- Pamela (10/5): - Very convenient location. Great restaurants within walking distance. Loved our stay there!
- Anthony (2/5): Research Research Research - Not clean, bed hard, Air did not work!
- Nikki (8/5): - Great location and very friendly and helpful staff
