Guest Reviews
- Michael (10/5): A real find for business trip accommodations - Very good location and accommodations for business trip to Northern Virginia-DC region
- Verified traveler (8/5): Room with a view - Excellent view!
- Fred (8/5): Business stay. - There was some trouble checking in since my plane was late. IT eventually got worked out.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Business travel convenience - Great location. I had to be moved at the latest minute from my original reservation. The substituted accommodations were still within easy walking distance to my office. The apartments are generally clean, and quiet and you enjoy all the amenities of the existing residents.
- Kimberly (8/5): The View Apartments - The apartment was nice but could have been even better with some additional simple items. For example, all the windows were dirty and being high rise apartment, clean windows would have been nice. The water filter in the refrigerator had not been replaced, so I had to stock up on bottled water. In the bathroom, there was no shelving in the shower to allow you to put your toiletries on and the water never got as hot as I would have liked. A box of tissues would have been nice as well. The apartment was clean, but not clean like a higher end hotel would be and the price paid was the same. Also, there was a balcony but there was no furniture on it so that you could sit out there and enjoy it. Lastly, there were two TV's but both were kind of small. The bed was okay. I think if it had nicer sheets, a pillow top mattress cover it would have been more comfortable. There was only a sheet on top of the mattress. I would have appreciated a mattress cover. The area is good and walkable to most good restaurants and the metro. I would stay there again if I got a better rate and brought some items from home-like a comfy throw blanket.
The internet was free and fast and the views from the 14th floor where the hot tubs and sundeck are, was really nice. The people at the front desk were very friendly and were welcoming.
- Samantha (10/5): - it was awesome! beautiful hotel and awesome neighborhood!
- Andrew (10/5): Great place to stay! - This is a fully furnished apartment with fast internet! A rarity among hotels these day. The room was comfortable and spacious. There are a lot of great food choices around within walking distance. Would definitely stay again!
- Verified traveler (2/5): No one to provide a key - I arrived late at night, after being told that this would be okay, and there was no one at the reception desk to receive me and provide a key to the room. I called their phone number for help and was told that someone would call me within 15 minutes to help. I received the call 30 minutes later after I had managed to find a nearby hotel with vacancy. This was disappointing.
- Dale (8/5): Great place in Arlington - I selected this for a short business trip to the DC area. It was less expensive than the local hotels, close to the metro, and worked out great. I was surprised to find it to be a fully furnished two bedroom, two bathroom apartment with full kitchen. Very nice indeed.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Disappointed and underwhelmed - The property itself was great. However, I was completely dissatisfied with the level of customer service I received from Bridgestreet.
Days before arriving in Arlington, I contacted Bridgestreet to prepay for parking and was told I had to purchase a parking pass once I checked in. Upon arrival, I I asked the concierge about parking and was told that parking was a matter that should've been taken care of before checking in, due to limited availability. However, there were spaces available for me to purchase. The catch was they didn't accept cash or credit!!! Well, go figure, I didn't bring my checkbook so I had to find some place to get a money order, in a city that I wasn't familiar with, which was a complete inconvenience. An hour later.. I get up to my apartment (that I'd been so excited for) and to my disappointment it isn't the one I paid for! I booked a particular apt because it had a balcony, bathtub, and "actual" bedroom (not a wall separating it from the living space) and a sofa bed for visiting family. I got none of that! None! I called customer service.. I got nothing. I spoke with the manager on duty at the property and he explained that he couldn't do anything because it was a matter that only Bridgestreet could handle. He offered to email someone from Bridgestreet (which he did) and I've yet to hear anything from anyone. I was actually excited and looking forward to my stay with Bridgestreet and was significantly disappointed and underwhelmed.
- Daniel (10/5): Excellent alternative - Great stay in a beautiful, modern building. Fully equipped and furnished rooms: bathroom with basic toiletries (towels, shampoo/cond.), full kitchen (plates, utensils, tools, etc.), bedroom (sheets, pillows), living room with furniture, walk-in closet and washer & dryer.
Huge windows with a beautiful mixed view of the city, National Mall, Arlington, etc.
Conditions were very clean and spacious. Highly recommend.
- Kathryn (10/5): Wonderful weekens getaway - The hotel was wonderful. It was a great place to make you feel turely like you were at a home away from home.
- Carter (8/5): Good corporate apartment to stay in - A really nice corporate apartment with a great location. My only issue was trying to leave for the airport at 4am and there was no one at the front desk to help me leave. This may sound strange, but you need a key to access the garage where my car was parked, so I had to go down and get out my car, drive out of the garage, park out in front, use the key to get back in the front door, and leave it on the front desk and then leave. I didn't need that when I was in a hurry to head to the airport.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Pleasently surprised - I never stayed in a place like this and was pleasantly surprised. Great experience
- Steve (10/5): Apartment for a Visit - Roomy accommodations in a great location in the Ballston area of Arlington. My 17th floor room had a great view. It was all very comfortable. The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful.
- Jaleesa (10/5): Clean Place, Great Neighborhood, Convenient! - The apartment was clean and ready to go when i got there. The neighborhood was convenient between two Metro stations, about 20 minutes from the sights.
- Steve (10/5): a full apartment - A full apartment rather than a room. Very comfortable.
- LB (2/5): Not the property I booked. - The property I stayed at was not the property advertised on Expedia, and it was definitely not a place that I would consider a 4 or even a 3 star hotel. I arrived at the place I paid for (as advertised in Expedia) and there was no reservation in my name. I was informed that my reservation was at another apt complex (which was of lower quality). When I arrived at the second complex, my reservation was again not found. After some time, they gave me a key to a room that was already occupied by another guest. After some more back and forth with the call center, they gave me another room that had not been cleaned and smelled. At this point (2:15 am), I was too tired to request for another room, but just asked the person at the front desk (who does not work for Bridgestreet) for some clean towels. The phone number to contact for issues is a call center that does not provide prompt responses.
- Abhishek (10/5): Very nice location, Good view - The view from the room was amazing. One could see the Washington Monument from the window. There was also an outdoor spa and fitness center on the 14th floor. There is no receptionist, so if you forget your toothpaste or body lotion, then you have to buy it from nearby CVS that closes at 8 PM. The room also had a well-equipped kitchen with only basic utensils and dishwasher.
- Florence (6/5): was not the hotel we contracted for - The bed was uncomfortable and not the size we expressly ordered and paid for. There was NO phone in the room. No hooks in the bathroom.
