Check in verlief problemlos. Es sind einige interessante Informationen über die Vergangenheit bzw die Entstehung des Hotels in der Rezeption zu finden. Zimmer waren in Ordnung und sauber und trotz des HWY konnte man ruhig schlafen Das Frühstück im amerikanischen Stil wird im Restaurant, welches sich neben der Rezeption befindet serviert Nichts anzumerken

Ive stayed here a few times over the years and the rooms have always been clean and maintained very well. The staff have all been just amazing and helpful. It is my chosen place to stay anytime i am back.

• Stacey (10/5): Walking Eagle Inn - I really enjoyed my stay at the Walking Eagle Inn! I wasn’t quite sure what to expect when I booked—it was a very last-minute reservation for my friend and me. But from the moment we arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The room was clean, comfortable, and lovely. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfasts that came with our stay—such a nice touch. The reception staff were fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and so helpful. I honestly can’t give this hotel a higher rating. We had a wonderful experience and I’d happily stay here again!

Friendly staff throughout, excellent restaurant with great coffee. The only (very minor) hiccup was that our room was stocked with towels for two guests, though there were four of us. A quick call to the front desk solved it and they brought extra towels right away. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would happily return if we’re ever in the area again.

• Dawn (8/5): One night - We needed a place to crash after exploring the area. It wasn't our usual pick. The breakfast is great, it is a set option, made to order. I have become accustomed to hotels having more environmentally friendly options with shampoo dispensers, recycling and compost. I did ask for a quiet spot and they did the best they could. I still heard the floor above me leave, but it was the diesel pickups leaving for the day with lights on as they idled that were the only real irritation. The bed is very firm too. The staff we met were wonderful.

Wir nutzten die Übernachtung vor und nach unserem Backcountry Abenteuer mit dem Outfitter in der Nähe von Nordegg. Es gibt sehr gutes Essen. Das Frühstück war auch top. Das Personal ist aufmerksam. Wir haben einen Reit Regenmantel liegen lassen und das Personal hat umgehend nach unserem checkout um 06:30 Uhr reagiert und den Outfitter angerufen, obwohl in der Lodge niemand informiert war, dass wir zum Outfitter fuhren. Dies haben wir sehr geschätzt! Wir haben dann nach der Rückkehr aus dem Backcountry spontan ein zweites Mal da übernachtet und den Regenmantel abgeholt.

• Gary (6/5): - July 14th-15th-16th/2025: Travel vacation with Bea/Jeorg. This was a very mediocre motel. It's very outdated & is in desperate need of an upgrade. The decor, in the rooms & lobby are all dated. My room had two double beds. Comfortable enough & the linens were decent. The furniture was all hacked up & the combined sink/bathroom were all very old. The room rates were only $179.92/nite which is about right for what you got. I will say that for the most part, the staff were very friendly. Also of note was the staff at the restaurant (Grillers) was exceptionally nice & friendly. I would not stay here again.

We spent 4 days/nights there and being on the first floor right to the entrance door created inconvenience for us. Other than that the stay was good, the cleaning crew was excellent and we loved the included breakfast at the restaurant.
