• Louwrens (10/5): Beauty and peace in one place. - The property is beautiful and peaceful. I really enjoyed the night and will go back again. The breakfast was out of this world. Thank you for a great stay and a peaceful night's rest. The bath made the whole trip worth it. A side note - this is a perfect place to book a wedding.

• gcferraz (6/5): Don't worthy - The room was clean, with a good hot shower and clean bedsheets and pillows. Breakfast was very filling and tasteful. The location is terrible and you must drive in 1.5km of wet mud to reach the hotel. Inside it's also all mud to step in and park your car. The staff is minimal and doesn't speak English, jeopardising receiving clear instructions. The bathroom has absolutely no privacy as it's an open space between the toilet, shower and the room. I also couldn't find any sockets to charge my equipment. Finally, you can clearly listen to guests in the other rooms.

• leana.goosen (9/5): A wonderful break-away stay in beautiful surroundings. - Breakfast was delicious. It is such a beautiful setting that the breakfast felt if it was at a high end resort. Staff were extremely helpful and the room is well equipped and beautiful Better communication on wifi access, maybe a bigger shower head and access directly on each side of bed phone charging facilities

Saturday morning our breakfast kitchen was not ready to accept us on time and all they could say we not open yet 7H00 very disappointed!!!!! NO WATER! Garden was not ready for wedding lolllypop trees not cut attention to detail was a BE LACK No Fridge in room. Bed Light not working Aircon doesnt move only blows on your feet. Huge Jo Jo tank in front of back door so you cant exit back door. Back stoep was soooo dirty What a let down!

• Toka (10/5): Tranquility it is. - The place it is so clean and well cared for. Interesting to be around. If you want peace go there. So quiet and refreshing their breakfast and kitchen stuff are so polite and kind. The bed it is too short. People who have knee problems have issues standing from down there. The bed also makes way too much noise every minute you turn. The road to karoo isn't it small car roads lol. You must have big car to go there. At some point I thought I'm lost and didn't trust the area because it seems so shady. You'd swear that you gonna be hijacked. Packing is also bit far when it rains it becomes a problem.

You always helped with my little extra requests, nothing seemed to much for you! - The location, very central to everything but still a bit rural, felt like a little oasis. The staff, so friendly, all of them. I had a few questions and they really helped out and went the extra mile

• Marisa (5/5): Clean place, not a quiet and peaceful stay - If you are staying over after attending a wedding at the venue, then it’s perfect. High speed internet was advertised, however, the wifi was basically non-existent. No minibar or microwave. It’s also noisy at night with guests waking you up as they arrive drukenly in the middle of the night and loud music coming from somewhere past midnight. Staff also repeatedly tried to enter the room without knocking and nearly breaking down the door thinking the room was empty I guess.

Only caters for wedding guests and other ceremonies. No interest in one day sleepover travellers. Management are poor with communication. Rooms are below standard. Beds are basic, linen and towels 2/10 WiFi and DStv very limited. Open plan room, no doors for toilet or bathroom. I would not recommend for any traveller looking for a night stay over. Overpriced!

• Sandra (5/5): - Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very basic room. No kitchenette, only a kettle for tea and coffee. Had to ask for a glass to drink water, as none was provided. Had to travel on a dirt road to get there, which was muddy and none of this was communicated. A dog that came into my room in the morning and jumped on me and also on the bed.
• Este (6/5): Beautiful place but a somewhat unwelcome reception - Beautiful rooms and lovely bathrooms. Outside gardens and facilities were well kept and stunning. I suspect that the hosts weren't prepared for guests. Nobody was there to receive us and point us to our room. We Waited over 30 mins in the car and when I eventually phoned again I found out that we are in room 7 (lady over the phone did not speak clearly and cell reception was bad). We also couldn't get coffee with our breakfast as they did not want to switch on the coffee machine for only two people. Lastly, the aircon in room 7 didn't work (only blows out hot air). It all made is feel unwelcome.

• Bouwer (8/5): The room is beautiful and clean, all other service is excellent - The staff told us to be all present, for breakfast they cannot keep on making eggs and toast, which was rather unprofessional. Other than that it was delicious. Do not rush guest for breakfast, for your convenience
