Crockery, cutlery and appliances provided were clean and in good working order. Facilities were good. No air-con in extra rooms in deluxe family suite and the temperature in these rooms was over 30 degrees C at night in autumn! Fans provided didn’t work properly either. Disappointing as everything else about our stay was good.

Er was geen stroom de gehele dag in de omgeving maar onze host zorgde toch dat we ons even konden douchen enzo wat erg fijn was. Ik was hier jarig en dankzij dit verblijf heb ik een geweldige verjaardag gehad ! Nvt

Steffen (8/5): schöne Unterkunft und gut als Basis für Ausflüge in die Nationalparks in der Umgebung - Wir hatten ein großes sauberes Zimmer. Die Anlage ist sehr schön gestaltet und hat neben zwei Pools auch mehrere Grillecken, die von den Gästen genutzt werden können. Etwas unpraktisch war in unserem Zimmer, dass in der 'Küchenecke" (Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, Wasserkocher etc.) kein Wasser und kein separater Lichtschalter ist.

We stayed for 5 days visitimg hluhluwe park 15 min drive away. St lucia 1 hr drive away and and imcredible private game drive at Bayala reserve 45 minutes drive away. All was just perfect!

De foto's waren verouderd zelf vonden wij dat wel mis leidend dat was wel een grote flop. Ook dat de afvoer van de wasbak niet doorliep werd later pas gemaakt. Het plekje zelf is geweldig.

Secondly We had meat to braai but it was raining hard and the braai area was wet.We asked for an air fryer,we were told that it was for self-catering rooms.There was no other options for rainy days. The WiFi connection was poor. On Saturday morning there was no hot water.We were assisted after we reported the problem. Please make some improvements. Anyway we enjoyed our stay.

We were lucky to share a property with other White family who was very nice to us they were so friendly, we were a group of 12 and Loud but they didn’t complain about that instead they come and greet us nicely. The process of checking in n out was so easy and the Lady who was working for a weekend was nice. We enjoyed everything about the place, did our amazing dinner there and breakfast and the braai area was amazing The furniture is a little bit old some of my siblings didn’t understand because they’re so young and used to modern things. The pool is small if the property is fully occupied

Suzie (9/5): Lovely stay! Would recommend! - The rooms were clean and tidy. We travelled as a group of 5 and we were given the two rooms by the pool which was really convenient. Everyone was so friendly and happy to help with anything we needed. It is really close to the hluhleluwe-imfolozi game reserve which made it a perfect place to stay for visiting the reserve. The only downside was that they didn't have a suitable cot for my 1 year old son. However our bed was big and my son was quite happy to share with us and therefore this didn't impact our stay at all. We would definitely stay here again!

Erhard (8/5): Ideale Unterkunft um den Hluheluwe NP zu besuchen. - Wir waren zwei Nächte in der Honeymoon Suite. Geschmackvoll eingerichtet und ein Luxusbad. Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und die Managerin aüßerst freundlich. Ideale Unterkunft um den Hluhluwe NP zu besuchen. Die Küchenzeile ist wirklich nur eine Zeile - ohne Wasser/Spüle! Für Selbstversorger absolut ungeeignet. Kleiner Kühlschrank. Das Wlan ist langsam und oft ausgefallen. Der Duschboden ist sehr rutschig!

Njabulo (1/5): - We had high hopes for our stay but, it was a deeply disappointing experience that fell far short of expectations. The listing promised a certain number of beds, but upon arrival, we found there weren’t enough for our group, forcing some of us to make do with uncomfortable makeshift arrangements. This was a significant inconvenience and a clear misrepresentation of the property. Additionally, the indoor toilet especially in family room lacked any ventilation, making it unpleasant and stuffy. To make matters worse, when we raised the issue of the insufficient beds, the management not only refused to offer a refund for the affected nights but also accused us of stealing things including a hairdryer and ordered us to pay R2250 through bookings.com —an outrageous and baseless claim that left us feeling disrespected and unwelcome. Overall, the mismanagement, false advertising, and poor customer service made this stay a regrettable experience. I strongly recommend future guests double-check the amenities and consider other options to avoid similar frustrations.

Manfred (1/5): Völlig inakzeptables Verhalten des Managements - Wir waren zwei Tage zuvor bereits dort in der Family Suite - und alles war top. Der zweite Besuch war eine Katastrophe. Wir hatten wieder die Family Suite gebucht, und eine schriftliche Bestätigung über Booking.com lag uns vor. Als wir eincheckten mussten wir feststellen, dass diese anderweitig vergeben worden war, und man bot uns lediglich ein kleines Zimmer ohne Küche etc. an, die wir für die Zubereitung unserer Mahlzeiten aber gebraucht hätten. Auf unsere Beschwerde hin und der Frage nach einer Rücksprache mit dem Management mussten wir einige Zeit warten. Dann kam ein Herr (wohl der Ehemann der Besitzerin?) auf uns zu mit den Worten: "I have a solution for your problem". Anschließend streckte er uns die Hand entgegen mit einigen Scheinen darin und sagte: "Take this and go away!" Eine derartige Unverschämtheit ist uns bislang noch nirgendwo passiert. Obwohl der Fehler eindeutig nicht auf unserer Seite lag, kein Wort der Entschuldigung, der Bitte um Verständnis und der Suche nach einem Kompromiss. Da in dem Ort - es war bereits Abend und wir brauchten eine Möglichkeit, unsere Lebensmittel kühl zu lagern etc. - zu dem Zeitpunkt keine Alternative zu finden gewesen wäre, mussten wir uns mit dem kleinen Zimmer zufrieden geben... Und das ohne jede Entschädigung, da das Zimmer auch noch preiswerter gewesen wäre!

Rita (8/5): Heerlijk verblijf gehad bij Ama Zulu Guesthouse. Mooie kamer, upgrade gekregen naar Kudu kamer 👍 - Locatie was prima, in een rustige buurt iets van het dorpje zelf af. Accomodatie was mooi en netjes, we zouden er zeker weer verblijven! Kleding laten wassen vind ik achteraf best prijzig.
Laura (4/5): - Everything was neat and clean The rooms are too close together No plates to eat knifes was so blunt u can't even cut fruit kids screaming alot we heard other ppl talking so loud while we was inside our rooms kids screaming alot we kept looking out the window to see who was making such noise we went for a relaxed get away weekend but was living more like in dorms and the TV omg was such a mission to get it on u need a masters degree to navigate the remote eventually we gave up called the cleaner she went to get the book to help why not change to smart TV so much simpler overall was very disappointed but the place looked very nice but very deceiving in photos as the rooms are so close to each other no privacy
