• Nirvana (10/5): beautiful property stunning views and an amazing coastline - Host kept in contact from the day the booking was made. Sent the pin key etc timeously. Was very simple and easy to get in. Beautiful spacious property. More than met our needs. Everything in excellent condition and extremely clean. Stunning views of the ocean. Quiet neighbourhood. Close enough to drive to the shops and Hermanus waterfront. Note that restuarants in the are do close very early so try to get there by 7 at the latest. Our stay was too short.

• I’m i (8/5): Self catering house in a nice neighborhood - This is a house situated in a fancy neighborhood. There's a great view overlooking Hermanus and, in the distance, the sea from the terrace. The house is spacious and there's a kitchen with all that you need. Beds were comfortable and cleaning was meticulous. Excellent value for the money. We were satisfied. This is a no frills self catering house. The interior was basic and not extremely cozy.

Loads of packing space - not needed for this trip, but good to know! Our friends stayed in the apartment below and we ate together - someone kept locking gates... if they could just tell us that they preferred that the gates be locked before 10pm, then we would at least have made sure we have keys on us.

We were very comfortable and appreciated all the effort the owner put in. The place is well maintained and was very clean. We can definitely recommend this place, and will love to return.

Perhaps I wish the stores were a bit closer but that's just because we ran around quite a bit. Not the hosts fault at all.

My daughter is studying for her final exams so she appreciated the quietness of the area. The ginger biscuits were delicious and disappeared quickly 😋👌 We would have liked to have a cleaner available for towels to be refreshed and basic cleaning requirements. The beach was more distant than I expected.

• Lesley (8/5): Cosy apartment - Comfortable beds and a nice cozy apartment. Despite there being no water due to the storm water was provided to help out. Good communication. I chose this apartment because it was advertised as lower floor apartment but Although it is on the lower floor there are still steps to go up which was difficult on crutches.

I had no small kids with me voth my sons are adults. Being falsely accused of damaging the place

It is a very relaxing atmosphere there. the bottom floor smelled very musty when we entered it. airing the property before guests arrive be advisable. also access for older people on the lower level is not great. Otherwise a fabulous place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay a lot! Quiet neighborhood. Not to complain, but the disability shower in the main bedroom's bathroom unfortunately is a bit messy, everything are wet! Maybe an extra towel to dry up the floor would be nice, I didn't ask, sure if I did it would be provided.

• Nair (8/5): Get more than your monies worth in comfort😊 - Cosy, clean, well furnished and beautiful ocean view. Gas stove which is a huge plus during load shedding. Well stocked crockery and cutlery. Close to popular swimming beaches, walking trails and town centre. Ideal location. Excellent value for money. Bathrooms were clean but a bit awkward. Parking is available but not securely closed off.
