- Heidi (10/5): Idyllische Unterkunft auf ruhigem Landsitz - In diesem Haus lebt die bewegte Geschichte von Oudtshoorn weiter. Traditionell eingerichtete Cottages mit Aussensitzplatz und Blick auf den Teich mit den riesigen Trauerweiden. Ein reichhaltiges Frühstück wird I'm Herrenhaus servers.

- Gerhard (8/5): Ausflug in die Geschichte - Sehr schöne Lage des nostalgischen Zimmers und die Aussicht davor. Zimmer bestand aus mehreren Räumen Das Zimmer mit dem historischen Ambiente. Wasserdruck bei Dusche war sehr spärlich.
- Katola (9/5): Außergewöhnliche Unterkunft in sehr ruhiger Atmosphäre - Sehr außergewöhnlich. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und geben auf Wunsch viele Infos zu Unternehmungen. Die Zimmer sind gut und sauber. Es ist ein Familienunternehmen in 5. Generation und man merkt die Liebe zum Detail. Das Frühstück wird in einem wundervollen Saal zubereitet und ist fantastisch. Preisleistung stimmt auch Nichts

- Annika (10/5): - Super schöne Anlage, mitten in der Natur und sehr weitläufig. Beim Weingut nebenan kann man eine Weinprobe machen oder einfach an dem schönen Pool unter den Bäumen den Tag verbringen. Wir durften sogar unser Haustier mitbringen und hatten eine tolle Zeit!

Ein Frühstück mit 5 Sterne Niveau und die überaus freundliche Chefin ist immer dabei. Dieses Haus kann ich absolut empfehlen und hat mehr als 10 Punkte verdient! Fällt mir garnichts ein

- Saskia (10/5): Een geweldig verblijf waarbij je je waant in vroeger tijden. - Na een erg vriendelijk ontvangst werden we naar ons cottage gebracht, Een fantastisch verblijf met alle bijbehorende voorzieningen. Het ontbrak aan niks en alles was in overvloed aanwezig. De ruimtes waren zeer ruim en schoon en de bedden waren royaal en lagen heerlijk. De omgeving, het zwembad en tuin zijn zeer goed verzorgd en onderhouden. Niks.

Good breakfasts. Staff were friendly and professional. Hosts were very helpful. The gardens are beautiful and a good size swimming pool provided welcome relief from the heat. Unfortunately the guest house was not providing meals at this particular time - but the hosts supplied suggestions for and booked restaurants in the vicinity (none of which were in walking distance).

- Marit (9/5): Super! Mooie tuin, aardige mensen en fijne ruime kamer. - De tuin was prachtig. De kamers zijn wat 'ouder' maar wel heel stijvol. De kamers zijn ruim en de bedden ook wat zorgt voor een fijne nachtrust. Het was erg warm bij ons dus prettig dat er een airco aanwezig was. Het was een goede/mooie/rustige locatie om vanuit daar uitstapjes te maken. Prachtige omgeving. 1 avondmaaltijd gehad, dat was erg lekker dus zou ik aanraden! Sommigen dingen zijn misschien wat aan vernieuwing toe maar het had ook z'n charme dus eigenlijk niks.

The room was big and spacious and thanks for the milk in the fridge and cutlery. I plan to visit Oudtshoorn again and I’ll definitely stay here again. I was there to run the Cango Marathon so did not really get to use the facilities because I checked out at 3am, I did get to enjoy the pool in the evening though. Wish there was little bit more lighting in the room as it was very big and spacious. Only the bathroom and bedside head lamp was in useable. There were lights in the room but either I did not know where to find the switch or if they were completely missing.

Our room was very comfortable with a lot of intimacy right in front of a pond surrounded by green végétation. The owner, full of attention, had already reserved for us ( that we could cancel if we disagreed ) a table for dinner in another property. The meal and the environment were excellent. Many thanks for everything.

Staff kindly booked for dinner at another venue for us. Aircon only in one room, it was very hot in other rooms. Lack of privacy for other rooms as you need to leave the doors open. Kitchen not really suitable for cooking and they serve breakfast only. So best plan to eat out. That said we will book it again.
