Beds were uncomfortable. And staff was unable to provide a paper receipt due to policy, still waiting on a emailed receipt.
• Lindsey (10/5): Our stay was absolutely perfect! - The Ellenboro Sleep Inn was exceptionally clean and the staff was super friendly. I would definitely recommend it to others and would absolutely stay there again. One of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Staff was very accommodating to our needs. The lady at the front desk was very nice and accommodating, and the breakfast bar lady was super friendly and helpful.

• Stefani (7/5): Shower fast, you only get 3 minutes of hot water - The location is very good, it was clean, and breakfast was good. The bed was extremely hard, I would compare it to sleeping on the floor. The shower had great pressure BUT we realized after we kept running out of hot water that it was on a timer of some sort. You only got 3 minutes of hot water at a time, you could turn the handle as far to the hot as it would go and lukewarm was as good as it got. I have long, thick hair; it takes 3 minutes to wash it. You could turn the water completely off and give it a few seconds and turn it back on and the water was hot again. We paid extra for a room with a spa tub...if you wanted to fill it with warm water it would probably take several hours of turning the water off and on to cycle the timer. So we wound up taking lukewarm showers all weekend.

• Cathy (10/5): It was delightful! - We cannot think of one thing we didn't love about this hotel...not one thing! Our stay was absolutely lovely. The entire place is sparkling clean and everyone so friendly. Hats off to the staff...you all know how to run and care for a hotel! We can't think of ANYTHING we didn't like!

Took triple amount of money from my account. 2nd time we couldn't separate rooms costs for some reason, all rooms had to be put on the card that reserved them. I have nothing bad to say, very clean, very friendly staff, comfortable beds. The pool was nice, breakfast area. Definitely a five star review!!!

• cheryl (10/5): Just exactly right - This hotel is an oasis in a sparsely populated area. Immaculately clean, pool, exercise room with tv, delicious breakfast, friendly staff - everything was perfect. Plus, there’s a log cabin, home cookin’ restaurant, a Dairy Queen, and a McDonald’s very nearby.
• Nancy (10/5): Breakfast in the mountains - This is a gem of a hotel just off highway 50 in northern mountains of West Virginia. It is clean and fresh and well kept offering the amenities one expects in a non-resort hotel. But the breakfast is out standing. Eggs, with and without cheese, sausage, biscuits, biscuit gravy, cheesy hash browns, fruit, yogurt, toast, grits, and juices. The hotel is welcoming, staff is helpful and kind… and the parking is free. This is a great place to stay.

• Arthur (8/5): All in all, it is a nice quiet hotel. - It was very close to where we wanted to be. It was also easily accessible, with a nicely laid out parking lot and plenty of parking spaces. The complimentary breakfasts were quite good. The indoor pool was nice. And the shower in the room was really roomy. There was a slight, odd smell that was in the entire hotel. It wasn’t really strong, but it was present. I don’t think it’s a cleanliness issue, just something that’s just there. Still, I would stay here again.

In the hallways and on the window sills. Did not bring this up because we were too tired and in a hurry. Won't be back to this location & won't use Expedia to book again. Terrible value for this location. .

As far as the actual hotel, the only thing that would be nice is working exhaust fans in the bathrooms.
