• vernita (10/5): - This Villa is perfect for couples. I can say it's super romantic and intimate. Very clean, Mother Nature is all around it lots of trees. There are 8 villas on the property. There's nothing else but if you're ok with the beautiful villa only then it's perfect. The staff is amazing very friendly and helpful. I loved all of them very kind people. Only downside is it is out in the middle of nowhere. We hired drivers everyday which wasn't a big deal. But I would have loved if they had more around the Villa. It's close to ubud market shop which is great too about a 20 min drive. All in all great place

I still want those pillows.... the best sleep I've had. My driver side said its hard to drive througg from the entrance. Its such a tight space to fit in with a car or truck. Everything was great.

Es gibt einen kostenlosen Shuttelservice, der einen zu festen Zeiten ins Zentrum bringt und auch wieder abholt. Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Bei dem Frühstück gibt es feste Menüs, die auch nur so genommen werden können. Wenn man eine Kleinigkeit von dem anderen Menü tauschen möchte geht das leider nicht.

• Michael (10/5): - Lets start with The staff…amazing…We’ve travelled throughout the world. I wish I could give 10 🌠 The absolute most genuine friendly people are the Balinese. This hotel has gathered some of the finest of the island. The management is on top of every need or concern if any. We fell in love with their warmth. Impeccable service. Now for the room and hotel…as soon as you get there they place a wonderful glass of goodness into your hands with a welcoming smile. Fresh cool blended lime mint juice stimulates your senses as you get checked in with efficiency. They upgraded our room without asking…Whatt!!😍…when does that happen. The walkway pictured greets you and as you enter the villa you smell the soft fragrance of flowers. The room was spotless and smelled amazing which sometimes is difficult to maintain in the tropics. They perfected it. The area has some walkable restaurants or just eat there as they have gourmet chefs delivering tasty cuisine..You get to walk through rice terraced paths to adventure if you choose. We stayed for three days and ate at the restaurant every day and were never disappointed. Australian tenderloin or fresh fish. Vegetarian delights or Indonesian dishes they have a great menu. We had three couple massages in our room that left us in a jelly state of relaxation. Which is what the entire experience was.. Restive…Relaxing…decompression. Suksma for a wonderful stay
• Chrysoula (1/5): Not Luxury, Not Safe – Extremely Disappointing Stay - Nothing This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had, and I strongly advise other travelers to stay away. The villa was in very poor condition, nothing like the “luxury” described in the listing. There were clear, visible holes and gaps in the roof structure – not “light reflections” as the property may claim – and as a result, insects and small reptiles such as lizards freely entered the room. During the night we could hear them crawling across the ceiling, and there were ants, butterflies, worms, and spiders inside the room itself. To be clear – this is not about being close to nature or staying in the jungle, which we fully expected and enjoyed elsewhere. Right after leaving this villa, we stayed at Agastya Villa in Ubud, also in the jungle, and there were absolutely no such problems there. The difference is simple: that villa was well maintained and clean. This one was not. The room here smelled damp and was not properly cleaned. When we found a worm inside the bed sheets, the staff gave us new ones – but even those were stained and felt unwashed. Basic comforts were also missing. The water pressure was so low that there was barely enough hot water for one short shower, which is unacceptable for a villa that costs €100 per night. The doors and windows did not close properly, leaving gaps everywhere and making the room feel unsafe and exposed. What made the experience worse were the endless warning signs all around the villa telling you what you must not do, which gave the whole place a hostile and uncomfortable feeling rather than a relaxing one. We left after the first night, despite having paid for more, because it was impossible to sleep in these conditions and we no longer felt safe or comfortable staying there. This is not a real “jungle experience” – this is simply a neglected, poorly maintained property being falsely advertised as a luxury villa.
• Carrie (10/5): - Huge thanks to the Anusura Luxury Villa team. Ayu, Rika, Dewa, Wayan, Komang, Widi, Anik, and Chef Nyoman and Eka. They are all part of a wonderful team that work tirelessly to ensure their guests are well taken care of in every little detail of their stay. It was our special anniversary vacation, and this team went out of their way to make sure every aspect of our visit went as smoothly as possible. They are all kind and warm in their interactions with guests and provided vast knowledge of tour packages and local amenities which made our stay smooth and interesting. The Villas are kept in wonderful condition and are set in a very private, relaxing and scenic environment. While this Villa only has a couple of rooms with views. What sets our stay apart here was the warm and excellent care of our team on our visit each and every day without exception. The kitchen staff go out of their way to ensure the food is delicious and might even mix up the menu for you if you stay long enough to keep things interesting. Shuttles and poolside massages are all well organized in a timely manner. Thanks again for a wonderful and memorable visit! We are sure to recommend this resort to our friends and family for a relaxing stay in the Ubud area. It's in a prime location near the centre of Ubud and is in a great location to reach most attractions on the entire island of Bali in a reasonable time. We hope to return here in the near future. That being said, plenty of little creatures for company but that is to be expected in a village style accommodation; though upscale. Nothing around but nature; which we loved. Ubud center is about 15 mins away but with shuttle service available we have no complaints. Driver/ Butler is knowledgeable & a good driver. Also help me get some fruits I wanted. He drove us around Bali for the day seeing the temples, rice fields, fields, monkey forest and Swing Heaven. The staff at the villas was gracious, friendly, and always welcoming and assisting. Our villa was the honeymoon villa #6 and could not have asked for a better location for quiet and serenity. I look forward to staying again at this enchanting location.

Their shuttle to Ubud center was a nice amenity. The area is quiet and serene. A perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Ubud center. The private pool for each villa was lovely. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. We made Anusara our home base and would do day trips to see the rest of Bali. We can’t wait to book another trip to Bali to explore more and stay at Anusara again during another trip.

• Charlotte (10/5): - We had a such a lovely time at the Anusara Resort and I want to give a massive shoutout to all of their staff for making our stay extra special (hopefully I’ve spelt all the names correctly and not missed anyone!); Dewa, Komang, Wayan, Rika, Ayux, Widi, Ika, Nyoman & Ayu. The villas were lovely and truly luxurious but it’s the staff that makes this place special. Coming back to the villa one day after exploring Ubud to find a lovely birthday message on the bed, to then be met at our villa door with a piece of cake and sang happy birthday was so special and made my day. Breakfast was one of the best we had during our time in Bali and whilst the restaurant area was under renovation during our stay having it served in the villa around the pool area was a delight. The beds were super comfortable and we loved the outdoor shower area. The shuttle car into Ubud is super handy and we used it quite a few times, for both drop off and pick up, and it was really easy to get in touch via WhatsApp to request the service. All in all a 10/10 stay and if we ever come back to Ubud we will definitely stay here again. Thank you to the whole team for looking after us and making the start of our trip to Bali so memorable!

• Garima (10/5): Beautiful Reasonable Villa in Ubud - I got the 2 bedroom with 2 bathroom with a private pool. It was almost like an apartment style with a kitchen and extremely spacious! The pool is clean and has a sunbed. There are geckos and lizards around that area though but they don’t bother you. The bathroom was luxurious too! Breakfast options are great and you can get floating breakfast for an additional $10. It’s about 20 minutes drive to ubud Center. The staff here is really friendly and helpful too. Overall the stay here was amazing and would definitely recommend booking here if you’re feeling hesitant.

The room was clean and beautiful and was very comfortable. That it was a little way's out of town, so it took a little longer to get into town or to wait for a car to pick us up. It was at least a 30 minute drive to get into the main street.

From the minute we arrived, we felt a tremendous sense of community at the resort and were treated like family by all the amazing staff. Rika, Wayan, Dewa, Gusti and the rest of the staff were so amazing to get to know during our stay, and provided amazing insight into Balinese culture; they truly made our stay unforgettable. If you're looking for a relaxing Balinese experience, then the Anusara is right for you. The villas are nestled within a rice paddy and back onto an amazing jungle setting. There are 8 villas total, but each comes with an amazing private pool, outdoor shower /tub and beautiful rooms. With the proximity to Ubud Centre from the resort, its the perfect blend of sereneness and the action of Ubud. The resort / villas themselves are a short drive from Ubud Centre (about 10-12 minutes depending on traffic) and the resort provides a free shuttle service into Ubud and back to the resort on a set schedule. Also, for a small, added fee, you can arrange for a different drop off or pickup location outside of the set schedule. Lastly, highly recommend the breakfast at the resort to start your day, as they have a great kitchen team, and also serve delicious lunch and dinner options! Already counting down the days that we can come back and stay at the Anusara again 10/10!!! Sam and Erica
• Khaled (1/5): Not Recommended At All - Nothing There is gapes in the doors can anything enter your room and you can’t hear sounds from outside .. they don’t care about the lizards inside your room .. shower is outdoors ( anything can get you , you can’t take shower evening ) .. TV not working

The AC blew warm air and the temp could not be adjusted up or down on the remote while the other buttons worked fine on the remote so it wasn’t a battery issue. The property itself is surrounded by trees and rice paddies. Nowhere to walk to in terms of eating or entertainment. You’ll need a car or transportation to go anywhere and it’s a bit out of the way so give lots of extra time given Ubud’s traffic. The breakfast was very nice and staff is friendly. The guy though at check in is a bit too intense. He makes you sit and then proceeds to read you the riot act in a condescending manner. Overall it’s a nice property but a little inconvenient.

Got refunded for last three nights because resort could not get rid of animal in bedroom. Many mosquitoes outside and inside since doors are not closing sufficiently. We had a problem with a rat or squirrel INSIDE bedroom under the roof, which the resort could not get rid of. This resulted in very uncomfortable noises during night, and roofing material on floor every morning. Would not recommend this villa before the roof is properly fixed. Be also aware the villa is right at the jungle so there is many mosquitoes after 5 pm.

The pool was good however it was deep and could be difficult for non swimmers! The view is not that great due to constructions in nearby properties but overall good cosy setup! Apart from being such a nice property the staff ruined the entire impression of the hotel. I had my guide with me from the day I came to Bali. So, when he dropped us at the property. The staff was rude with him. Didn't even let him use the washroom. On the day of checkout, when our guide came early morning to pick us up for the airport. The security guard started yelling at him that he has parked the car in the premises. It would take only 5 mins to load the two suitcases in his car and we would have left still the security guard was yelling at him. And that ruined our mood on our way back.

All the amenities were provided and if we needed anything more reception were happy to provide. The service was great.
