• Alexey (9/5): - This hotel is located in a historical part of Arusha. For me, it perfectly combines the outstanding positive energy of the property with a natural garden and the soothing sound of the river hidden behind the trees and bushes. Add to that the old-fashioned, classy hospitality — including a spacious room with a comfortable square bed, a real bath in the bathroom, authentic Indian food in the restaurant, and, most importantly, the most hospitable team I have ever met in Arusha. This is my favourite place in Arusha, even though I have stayed in much more expensive spots like Four Points, Gran Melia, and Parrot. Highly recommend for your stay. Maybe I am too much in love to this place but I can't find anything negative there ))

• Amer (4/5): The hotel needs some sprucing. It’s a shame to undermine such a location with mediocre facilities. - The location and the sound of the river. The staff were friendly. Rather dated decor. No elevator. The breakfast was rather scanty. The corridors to the rooms were poorly lit and musty.
• Lynne (7/5): Good value for money with its greatest assets being the garden, warm friendly staff and its proximity to the town centre - Good value for money, large room with balcony overlooking the beautiful garden where I could watch birds and spot chameleons! Had to be careful what I ordered for dinner as the quality varied; the breakfast coffee seemed to be instant and not from Tanzanian coffee beans – a travesty!

• harmen (8/5): uiteindelijk naar genoegen - prima restaurant: heerlijke maaltijden , voldoenede gevarieerd en voldoende vegetarische mogelijkheden. de ventilator op de kamer begaf het driemaal . na de tweede shutdown wisselden we van kamer, omdat er kortsluiting was opgetreden bij het gebruik van de ventialtor. Op de andere kamer viel na drie nachten opnieuw de ventilator uit.

Very safe and easily accessible from the city centre - The sound of the river waters flowing some few yards from the hotel balcony Not putting all the stuff in the room at the time of checking in. Things like coffee cattle, and water bottles were some of the (not so good this time)
• Angelika (9/5): Good location - Very nice staff and delicious breakfast. I also liked the location, it was quiet and with a beautiful green courtyard. I really liked the balcony overlooking the garden. If you don't put a "do not disturb" sign on the door, the towels will disappear from your room and you will have to ask for them again.

• Sara (9/5): Inmejorable situación, excelente relación calidad precio. - Hotel local muy céntrico, camas cómodas y hab limpias, a un paso de todas las atracciones de la ciudad ( torre del reloj, mercado masai, restaurantes). Las tarifas de las comidas y bebidas exageradamente económicas, no recuerdo el.precio de la cerveza pero es la más barata que he encontrado en toda Tanzania. La cocina está especializada en comida hindú, pero también tienen platos internacionales y comida rápida tipo pizza. Tienen un jardín precioso. Sin dudar volveremos. Es un hotel antiguo y local, al entrar percibes un olor característico del lugar aunque a las pocas horas ya no lo notábamos, no hay aire acondicionado en la habitación pero tienen ventilador, nosotros no lo echamos de menos.

• Billy (6/5): Please fix this issue with the hot water. - Every time I am in Arusha I stay at this hotel. Perfect location. Nice staff and management. Good restaurant. Rooms are clean and spacious. Some rooms have problem with the hot water. Last time we were in room 102. There was not hot water. We informed the front desk guy. He came and switched on something but hot water never came. After a long day in theat and dust a normal shower and hot water is a must.

Also is very near to important offices in the city like AICC, Meru refferal hospital, The East Africa Community office,Arusha city Director's office, and more For now I don't see what to improve

• Dominic (8/5): Overall good value for money in a central location. - Central location surrounded by lush gardens - walking distance to shopping and ATM’s. Good Indian restaurant and fully stocked bar on the property. No in room air conditioning meant the room became quite humid at night . There is a wall fan albeit somewhat noisy - opening the balcony door lets the breeze in though kept it closed at night for security.

Ausreichend Handtücher. Bett sauber und Frühstück gut. Auf Bestellung auch Omelett oder Spiegelei. Hotel liegt mitten in der Stadt. Trotzdem Aussicht auf den schönen, gepflegten Garten. Essen in der umgeb Es gibt nichts zu erwähnen.

• Tim (7/5): Relaxing and enjoyable except for the problem with the faulty electrics. - Friendly and helpful staff (except for the manager). Central location and an attractive garden with trees and flowering shrubs. An unhelpful manager who refused to accept responsibility for a problem with the electrics in my room. My laptop and phone chargers both burnt out due to a faulty extension socket. The cable for the socket lead into a wall i.e. did not have a plug with a switch to isolate it. This cannot be safe and must contravene regulations. I hope he has taken action to make the room safe for other occupants but he did not show any signs of wanting to do this.

• Fatima (8/5): Convenient for a short stay - The hotel is very well located, close to the center but in a relatively less noisy and seemingly safe area. The room was big, the staff was kind and our stay included a breakfast buffet that was very nice. We only stayed one night, and that is also ok to stay. the facilities look pretty dated and especially the bathroom because of how old it was it didn’t look the cleanest. Unfortunately this also reflected in the towels, which left a bad impression. The internet also didn’t reach all parts of the room, so we had to walk or sit closer to the bedroom door for better reception.

• Kai (8/5): Gutes Hotel - Die Lage in Arusha ist klasse. Das Personal war immer super nett und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen für den Preis. Daher etwas Abzug in der Gesamtbewertung.
• Vivienne (3/5): I would not stay there a second time. - Liked only the cereal option. Other options very poor, bananas over ripe and bruised only suitable for making banana cake. Bread for toasting was not nice. Toaster took too long to toast the bread. No orange juice available or had run out. Coffee was average.

Shower poor as piping clanging, unable to get correct water mix to have a shower. Sliding door to balcony lock broken. Options for breakfast insufficient and food in poor condition eg bananas override, bread for toasting sub standard. Juice ran out and no more available. There was no lift available and building is outdated. TV did not work. Wifi did not work upstairs level.
