- Melanie (9/5): -
- Parise (10/5): Lovely historic home with modern comforts. - This home has 5 bedrooms and each bedroom has a bathroom. This historic home is very comfortable and has a wonderful yard. Our large family fit comfortably. I would stay here again and recommend it. Nothing.
- Cathie (9/5): Superb -
- Wennie (8/5): Our stay there was wonderful. Not too far from all the places we intended to visit ❤️❤️❤️ - Overall we like our experience husband had issue with the AC. He can’t seem to get it to a comfortable temperature. Other than that our experience was great. ❤️❤️❤️
- Lidan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vickie (9/5): Superb - The location was close to the softball fields which was great for us.
- Arnoldus (10/5): Clean and cozy. Great location. -
- Wawrzyn (8/5): It’s a wonderful house to rest in after several nights we crammed in motels. We regret not having stayed there longer. - A spacious beautiful house with shared space, full kitchen and garden.
- Natasha (7/5): Good - Quiet, close to downtown area Shower did not drain well, didn’t finish draining until after shower was finished
- David (9/5): Relaxing and comfortable. Felt like I was at home - I loved this historical home. There were past pictures and information about the property. The house was clean and in excellent condition. The location was down the street from my favorite restaurant. The television didn’t work at times(kept losing connection to the satellite) and the remote control had dead batteries. The record player didn’t work. I would have liked to listen to a little music on the record player.
- Lisa (10/5): We would not stay anywhere else in Kanab! - Lovely private suite and nice, clean, well-appointed kitchen. A nice walk to a variety of good restaurants. Nothing!
- Debbie (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (4/5): The online ratings for this facility do not make sense unless this is being compared to a hostel. - The property looks good from the exterior but that is it. For our stay the only thing it had going for it was suite 3 on the main floor is large with a corner gas fireplace and a decent bed which was quite comfortable. There is no staff, the carpets in suite 3 are stained and dirty, the shower is not clean and the water is very restricted, the tub is stained, the wood trim is separating, the TV is connect to an antenna so we had virtually no reception, and window covering are quite sheer and without blackout blinds so at 5:30 am it is already becoming light. Finally, the HVAC duct is connected through to the kitchen and every word or sound can be heard from the guest that use this area. Literally as if they were in the same room.
- Sharon (9/5): Superb -
- Consuelo (9/5): Loved our stay, would return with more family members to enjoy the privacy share the common areas. - Quiet neighborhood, beautiful 1912 house remodel led prioritizing quality and aesthetics, fully equipped and spacious kitchen, easy walking distance to several Kanab hiking trails, Would have liked brighter lights for reading in bedroom and living space, front staircase is narrow,
- John (10/5): Will definitely be back! -
- Kamra (7/5): Good - Beautiful historic property. Clean, comfortable, and spacious. The keypad wouldn't work the second night of our stay. We called the property manager and left messages twice. They never got back to us. We knocked on another guests window, and they reluctantly let us in. We would have had to sleep in our car otherwise.
- Gary (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely place
- Daniel (1/5): Bad - The bedroom and the shared space looked like a well maintained home, very welcoming and a lot of space. The room wasn’t clean, and we didn’t receive a response from the owner when we asked for cleaning materials and new sheets.
As for the place, we stayed in the bedroom on the first floor and could hear every step and every water flush from the floor above. We couldn’t stay under these conditions, so we checked ourselves out. With Booking’s support, the owner decided to refund the entire stay.
- Eckert (9/5): My kind of place - House was fantastic. Very quaint and lots of shared spaces. Great location. Bed wasn't very comfortable
- Jim (8/5): Good value overall, but not ideal for a light slerper - Very clean, convenient location Immediate residential neighbor next door has two dogs that bark too much. Adjacent lodge occupants on my floor were up very early opening and closing their room door countless times. Hard to sleep past 6am, on a Sunday morning …
- Susan (10/5): Excellent accommodations and reasonable! - We enjoyed our stay Grand Circle Lodge. Our room was clean and a nice location for visiting Bryce and Zion. We also enjoyed talking to the other quest we shared the common space with. We stayed 3nights. Highly recommend it!! Nothing!
- Patricia (10/5): A nice house in a quiet neighborhood - A nice house in a quiet neighborhood, well equipped. Nice rooms, well decorated and equipped. There are 6 rooms total, which is too much for the common facilities.
- Judith (9/5): It was comfortable and cozy. A great place to stay. - Shower drain in #2 room does not drain well.
- Joanna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marilyn (10/5): Relaxing and enjoyable! - My stay was fantastic! Comfy cozy and wonderful location with mountains right down the street providing an incredible view! Kanab is a very sweet lil town but the B and B added to the charm!!! There’s nothing I did not like
- Jeremy (10/5): Honestly, I relaxed and had a great time. - I really liked the look inside the house and the confines of the room. The bedroom has everything you need to have a great experience and stay. Matthew was wonderful to talk to and answer questions. I will definitely be back again sometime. Hopefully soon. I don’t think there was anything I didn’t like. I could tell the hosts want their guests to have a great stay by their great service.
- Susan (10/5): We would definitely stay there again! - Felt like home! We could relax in the living room and had full use of the kitchen. Backyard and patios were relaxing! Nothing
- Jordango (8/5): Very pleasant lodgings for a fair price - The facilities were clean, well kept and cozy. My room and bed were very comfortable. I didn't stay long so did not get to take advantage of the kitchen or living room facilities but if I'd been there longer, they would have been a great addition to my stay. I really enjoyed the quiet, as well, and being in a neighborhood house with just a few other guests instead of in a more busy motel in a commercial district. Instructions to get in and out (self-serve) were clear. I definitely recommend these lodgings and will stay there again when traveling through Kanab. Stairs. I mean, I know you can't put in an elevator but with only one room of six downstairs, dragging my luggage all the way to the back of the house and up stairs to my room was really a workout I didn't need after a long drive. Not sure you can do anything about this though. Maybe some luggage carts or something to at least help for the journey to the back of the house?
At night getting to the house, through the house and up the stairs, it was DARK. I didn't know where all of the switches were (if there were any). Porch light was not on when I got back at night (and on a timer so wouldn't stay on), so navigation was difficult. The stairs to my room were really dark. I used the flashlight app on my phone and a headlamp I was carrying in my photography kit to get to my room at night. Not optimal. If there are accessible switches, you might give some kind of helper email or map or something (or install motion detect lights in those dark areas). You usually don't think about where the switches are until you are already in an unfamiliar place, in the dark, fumbling around.
- Lutz (10/5): Exceptional - Location, spaceious, interior decoration Bes in room #6 a little too soft
- Winnie248 (9/5): Stunning house ! - the room was located in a beautiful house. When I booked I automatically received all the information about how to get access to my room. Communication was easy. The room is cosy and really clean. I know very well Kanab and I never tried this house before it's really great ! I will recommend it nothing
- Ofra (9/5): Good value. Poor communication - Location was great. Easy to find. It was clean and well equipped. Instructions were easy to follow. Carrying two heavy suitcases up the stairs to the second floor was challenging. The owner only read my message and responded two days after I sent it.
- Serena (9/5): This is an affordable, clean, and welcoming environment to stay in during our travels! - I really enjoyed having a room with our own bathroom and laundry facilities. We were traveling between different national parks in the area and definitely benefitted from being able to clean our clothes halfway through our trip. It was a little odd sharing the common spaces (i.e. kitchen) with people we didn’t know but it was also a bit nice to meet new people in the area.
- Wnmills3 (9/5): Very convenient off route 89. Nice, quiet house with private baths in each bedroom - Perfect for our needs to stay a night while visiting on a trip from Williams, AZ to Bryce Canyon, UT. Very clean and comfortable. The self check in worked perfectly as we didn't realize the length of the drive we had. We were upstairs and had luggage to bring to our room.
- William (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michal (10/5): Very nice and clean property in Kanab - check in/out and all self guided was smooth - all worked as described in email. Location is very very good, with easy access to route and center street. It is very quiet around - great time to rest and recharge. Very clean ! And windows do open for fresh air during the night no need for AC. Limited parking if you wish to follow instructions and park in-between designated marks - by time i have returned back all were taken. But no issues overall as street is wide and ample room to stop.
- Stokhof (9/5): Superb - The vintage look and history of the hotel. It was cozy.
- Barbara (10/5): This was a BnB. We met some nice people who helped us to get into the house. We were given a code for the front door and - We came to the Kanab Cowboy legends. The facility was close enough to walk to town Nothing
- Anna (9/5): Nice place to stay. You can feel like a resident of this place -
- Marcy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carsten (10/5): Exceptional - It's a historic style building , in a very quiet neighbor hood. Well maintened, nice remodeled. It has rooms of different sizes, first and second floor. All are unique and very clean. Kitchen and living room are kind if comunity used, but also well equiped and cosy. Parking is easy in front of the house. It has breakfast tables inside and in the porches. The rooms upstairs even have balconies. Check in is contactless, but no problem. All over all, nice perfect stay. Tx to the hosts.
- Jacqueline (9/5): Superb -
- Eric (9/5): Great stay and will return again -
- Valerie (6/5): Neat place to stay. If take care of some of the minor things I mentioned, would stay again. - The location is nice. In a good, quiet neighborhood. The outside property is nice. Nice green grass with a gazebo in back. A historic home, neat with upgraded kitchen and dining area. Cozy sitting area down stairs. Easy access to house and room with door codes. Unfortunately, the single cup coffee maker in the shared kitchen area did not work for us. The toilet seat in the room's bathroom was cracked upon arrival so just had to watch out for that, easy fix though. Some ants on the kitchen counter, another easy fix. In general, a very neat, historic home/lodge with neat ideas. Just needs some simple things done to make it a great stay instead of good.
- Scardino (8/5): Very good - Location was great, place was clean and comfy. The toilet seat had a crack in it that scratched my butt each time I sat down. LOL. Just thought it was an easy fix that could have been done easily, but perhaps you don't know about it. It wouldn't stop me from booking again. Also the smoke alarm kept going off in the early morning - we were up already - but we were sorry for the other guests. Seemed like steam from the shower caused it?? Thought that was strange.
- Leigh (9/5): This home has a good vibe and I ate at the French restaurant. Very good! - Easy parking, close to town, quiet. Has large kitchen and dining room with lots of windows. My room #2 had a claw foot tub (and a shower) and I had a good soak after a long drive Stairway was narrow to upstairs if you have a lot to carry but doable.
- James (10/5): We enjoyed our stay - We did not receive breakfast
- Sujin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Louise (9/5): I love everything about this B&B def will come back - It feels like home :) i really enjoy my 2 days here ***
- Lisavidya1 (10/5): Peaceful and beautiful home; will come again! - This is a beautiful, picturesque historic Victorian home converted into a BNB (without the breakfast but coffee/tea/full kitchen included). There were many birds and old trees on the property, a gazebo in the back, and it was very quiet. We loved visiting here! You can walk anywhere in downtown Kanab from this lovely historic home. Nothing :)
- Magdalena (10/5): Exceptional - So cute house! It really felt like home, beautiful shared spaces, cute backyard with seating to drink your morning coffee with the views of red rocks. The bedroom was nice and clean and so was the bathroom.
- Baker (10/5): Clean, Comfortable, Quiet - Last night of my trip, wanted to rest before a long drive and what a gem I found here! The check-in is contactless, so be ok with using the emailed codes for the front door and your room. If needed a friendly voice is just a phone call away. The house is so charming, my room was clean, quiet and oh so comfortable. There is a huge kitchen for self prepared meals. I wish there had been screens on the windows, I would have kept them open to better hear the neighborhood rooster. Overall perfectly wonderful, thanks Grand Circle Lodge!
- Beth (10/5): Overall, it was pleasant - It was a very nice house. The room was cozy. I like the little balcony area. I would’ve liked to had a little coffee pot in the room. They had a nice kitchen, but the one coffee pot was very slow and the other one I couldn’t figure out how to use. They need to write instructions for people.
- Andreas (7/5): Good - The house was spacious, cosy and well equipped. Location is ok. Our room was very small. There were no shutters or blinds to make the room dark in the night and morning. Cleaning fee is charged while not stated anywhere either on the booking website nor the reservation conformation.
- Barbara (8/5): It was perfect except 68 degrees in my room. - No breakfast, even though advertised as a bed and breakfast! It was cold in the building.
- Adi (10/5): Exceptional - The room was clean and tidy, the kitchen had all the amenities and the place was quiet and beautiful. The beds were super comfortable as well. It was a great ending to our road trip Nothing.
- Debra (7/5): I was a nice room. - There was not Breakfast NOT BEING ABLE THE GET INTO MY ROOM FOR A HOUR AT 11:30PM
- Christine (10/5): Exceptional - We made our own breakfast.
- John (10/5): Absolutely lovely. I'd stay here in a heartbeat, again! - This was perfect for our trip. Me and a family member needed a convenient home-base for our excursions to Bryce Canyon, Zion and the areas around Kanab. You rent a private room with a private bathroom and share the kitchen, living and outside area. The accommodations are comfortable and relaxed. The town of Kanab was great. The people there are fantastic! I'd suggest the Rocking V Cafe, Adria's and "Only in Kanab" food truck for food. The visitor center was very helpful in helping to find local hikes. Breakfast in My. Carmel's Thunderbird Cafe is great too! Ask for Becky! Ran short on TP and make sure you mark your drinks or food in the frigerated, otherwise it will be tossed. Guests could stay one night or multiple and keeping the place clean is a big priority thus I understand why they would do so.
- Lisa (10/5): A peaceful stay with charm and comfort-we would definitely stay here again. - Lovely historic home. Comfortable bed. Beautiful and well-appointed kitchen. We could walk easily to downtown Kanab and several restaurants. Eating breakfast on the back patio under the flowering fruit tree that was humming with happy bees! The only negative was the temperature display on the heating unit, which was bright and made the bedroom lighter than we like at night.
- Nitya (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Mike (7/5): We enjoyed your location and would recommend it to friends. - My breakfast was fine. Coldness in house. Leaky kitchen faucets. The little draw under sink was gross. Toss the spices, they are pretty old.
- Brian (10/5): We enjoyed our stay and despite some minor inconveniences, we would stay here again. Very homey. - The kitchen was very spacious and every kitchen utensil you could think of was provided. Large walk in closet to store luggage and in room full size washer and dryer were unexpected. Each room had it's own private patio or balcony. Huge backyard with a gazebo and gas grill if you wanted to BBQ or dine outside. Cleaning staff was prompt every morning to clean the common areas. Rooms were all carpeted and our room on the first floor had a gas fireplace for heating...very cosy. The 2nd night of our stay, there were more cars parked infront than there were rooms. One of the guests had visitor over taking up all of the parking spots. Plus they were loud in the living room and kitchen in the evening. Walls are very thin. Low water pressure in the shower.
- Jens (10/5): Exceptional - Great place to visit Bryce and Zion NP
- Dong (10/5): Great. - Location is great. Kitchen is great. Host is great.
- Lesha (4/5): Disappointing - The location of the house. The common areas looked like they were kept up. The host was real responsive to our concerns of fragrances. First issue was that the house looked dilapidated, it looks so run down. Second issue, the house had way too much "perfumed" products to try to make it not smell old. The bathroom was moldy smelling (the shower mostly). The bed was uncomfortable and placed in front of a window and the pillows fell off all the time and we couldn't sit in the bed to watch tv because there was no head board and the window sills and windows were not accommodating to sit up in or on. Also, there was not cable or internet supported TV. The room looked like they got all their furnishings from a second hand store and most of the furniture was wobbly, the lamps were was too small-didn't match the decor-the shades were cracked, the neighbors' dog barked most of the night. There was not a settee or chairs to sit on to relax-put on shoes-watch tv. The bedding had a very strong detergent smell or in-wash scent beads and/or fabric softener and/or fabric softener sheets. I am allergic to perfumes or any products with chemically made fragrances. I feel that there needs to be a designer to come in and have better decor all throughout the house.
- Konrad (7/5): nice concept, easy to access, but for my taste too much carpet and fabric everywhere - nice concept. kitchen was full of useful tools. spacious living rooms. The air in the bedroom was really bad. Second night we kept the window open but still the air was thick.
music room covered with vinyls is a great idea, but please add a record player :)
- Lutz (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jennifer (9/5): Great location in Kanab to explore. The historic house was renovated super cute and had a great kitchen. - Cute, comfortable, great kitchen. Nothing
- Stefanie (8/5): Great home away from home in Kanab - Lovely home that feels comfortable and is well located. Great change from the usual kind of hotel, would definitely stay here again! Check in and check out was also very straight forward and parking right outside made it easy to manage as well.
- Walter (10/5): Historic property in a quiet neighborhood with outdoor patio with a mountain view - Historic property in a quiet neighborhood with outdoor patio NA
- Nora (10/5): Exceptional - Comfortable and clean. A cozy place ti stay.
- Alexandra (10/5): Homey and wonderful - It’s a cosy place with a very homey old school B&B vibe. Loved the easy check-in when I arrived late. Loved the room. Didn’t get a chance to use the rest of the house, but could easily have seen myself take advantage of it, had I stayed longer.
- Randall (8/5): Very good - Liked the parlor, kitchen, room and yards The tub in room 2 didn't look clean.
- Chad (9/5): Superb -
- Kathleen (6/5): Nice property but a disappointing experience. - The cozy feel of the historic property. I thought the property it was a true B&B with a live in host but it's a big house with 5 bedrooms that are rented out separately.
- Brent (8/5): Very good -
- Quinn (7/5): Good -
- Roberta (7/5): very nice - very comfortable didn’t let us know we had stairs to climb
- Longden (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely heritage home that is walkable to the town centre and all amenities!
- Grant (9/5): Superb -
- Legrand (4/5): Disappointing - The temperature was colder that hell and no way to adjust the temperature. Arrived around 11pm, a little late. made phone call and no one answered. Left message and no one called me back. Not even the next day. We travel a lot from Salt Lake City to Phoenix and like to stop in Kanab. Thought we would try your facility. Will probably not use your facility again.
- Se (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Joyce (10/5): Total gem! - The little motel i usually stay at was fully booked, so we came here. This charming place was spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable. We were the only guests on this day and had the whole house to ourselves. I will definitely be back. The only thing that was a bit awkward was the 19th century steps to the second floor with a large suitcase, but it was still well worth the say.
- Orit (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful house and room well located and quiet. Fully equipped kitchen.
- Marion (9/5): Superb - Super nice and cozy family house with a history. Great garden with bbq possibility, calm neighbourhood and well equipped kitchen. Everything you could need is there. The beds were quite soft, for one night totally fine but for a longer stay maybe problematic for some people.
- Dennis (9/5): Superb -
- Natalia (9/5): Superb -
- Carbone (9/5): Superb -
- Richard (7/5): Good - N/A The bedding and Linen and flooring and shower should be re freshen before guest arrival
- William (10/5): Surprisingly quality room...... for the price and the town....... definitely a good choice the next - The room was exceptionally claim and spacious with many features not found in most hotels at this price it was one of the best rooms I've had in the last four or five years certainly the best value A couple of paragraphs emailed ahead could have prepared me to made better for the check in process and allowed me to better take advantage of the spacious room and very convenient kitchen
- Blake (10/5): Great location! -
- Finn (9/5): Superb - The toiletries provided were a big plus.
- William (9/5): Superb -
- Townsend (9/5): Superb -
- Nina (10/5): Exceptional - Cute room. Smelled nice.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely clean, comfy bedroom, use of a kitchen with all amenities. Fantastic location, easy 5 min walk to Sego (great restaurant), very quiet neighbourhood. Excellent value for money, felt like being at home, sitting on patio eating our breakfast! Coffee pod machine was very slow, I think it needs fixing, minor problem as there was a filter machine to use instead!
