Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excelente hotel cómodo limpio buen ubicado y costo excelente
- Verified traveler (10/5): - ES UN HOTEL MARAVILLOSO, FRENTE AL MAR, TIENE UNA ALBERCA MEDIANA Y UNA GRANDE PERO IGUAL SE DISFRUTAN LAS DOS, LA UBICACION FRENTE AL MAR ES MARAVILLOSA PORQUE PUEDES DISFRUTAR TANTO EL MAR COMO LA ALBERCA, LO QUE TAMBIEN ME GUSTO BASTANTE ES QUE SE GENERA UN RESPETO MUY BONITO ENTRE LOS HUESPEDES YA QUE NO PERMITEN MUSICA ALTA EN LA NOCHE Y ESO PARA MI FAMILIA Y PARA MI ES MARAVILLOSO PORQUE SE PUEDE DESCANZAR MUY AGUSTO DURANTE LA NOCHE, TAMBIEN LAS CAMAS Y LAS ALMOHADAS SON MUY COMODAS, SIN DUDA ALGUNA CON TODO EL FAVOR DE DIOS REGRESARE!!!
- Samantha (10/5): Loved it. - We had a wonderful stay at La Posada. Beautiful ocean front view with great breakfast in the open air lounge area overlooking the pool and beach. Off the main strip, which we counted as a bonus- Taxis and busses are cheap and abundant. Loved it.
- Shirley (6/5): Rustic, but cheap. - Doors need fixing; more outlets would be nice and a microwave would really help. Rustic is a fair description. All we wanted was a beach and a pool, but we brought our own cooler for drinks and a TV to watch dvd's on.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Muy buena relación precio - calidad.
- Francisco (2/5): None - Shocking experience, they have the cleaning staff doing reception service.
It's a lie they are 4 stars like I see in the app ads not even a quarter of a star.
Oldest lining I ever seen the towels are already rags
- Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful Hotel for Relaxation - My wife Cathy and myself enjoy our 3 weeks Honeymoon in this quiet excellent facility so close to the beach.
We will definitely coming back!!!
- Verified traveler (6/5): tired old hotel - we have stayed at this hotel a few times and while not a 5 star it was comfortable and very pleasant. So it was a disappointment to see that the rooms or at least our room was not up to acceptable standards. The toilet overflowed and when reported was told that the maid would unplug it.However the maid didn't get to our room until late afternoon. We also didn't have any hot water. The paint was peeling off the walls. The airconditioner was extremely noisy and the overhead fan had only one speed---fast and noisy. The maid had forgotten to fill the drinking water jug and when I requested more,I was told curtly that the maid would fill it when she got to our room.To be fair the gentleman was very busy trying to get everyones breakfast order filled.
on the positive side, the grounds and the pool area was very well looked after and it was very pleasant to sit by the pool and look out at the bay.The beach area is very nice also. Also the breakfasts were good with various selections.
overall if the room discrepencies were upgraded then we would recommend ans come back to this pleasant hotel
- williamson (8/5): clean and quiet suiting our purposes - Have stayed several times. Generally very quiet area. Small pool but walk out to beach area. Rooms spotless but none of more modern hotels...desk, TV, etc. There is breakfast/TV/book common area. Large naval base is across on harbour side and one passes guarded gate to reach hotel plus guarded access to base past hotel thus making it safe area. Very close to many good restaurants and local bus service passes hotel. A car, taxi or bus is required to get to main shopping areas further north on same road paralleling beach. We had problems with hot water during this stay but other rooms seemed not to have same issue. Recommend travellers new to Mexico carry a flat, rubber circular sink stopper. Having driven for some years to Mexico, latter was often needed! Owner is fluent in English and lives abutting hotel. Extremely rustic but we enjoyed the quiet location and watching large cargo ships entering and leaving one of largest Pacific ports....entrance is maybe 1000 feet away. Centro (old town with shopping) is visible and short bus ride on local bus.
- MARIA (6/5): Convenient and clean - Went to a family wedding, the rooms were simple and clean.
