The staff were very good, they welcome and greet you, and take your bag up to the room. This is a big, rambling hotel, old school hotel really. People might say it needs updating, but I would say just leave it as it is. I would go back. They also have a restaurant for breakfast, and you can buy beer in there Maybe an extra blanket in the room would have been convenient.

Excellent market with good food options a block in the other direction. Talented massage therapist very nearby. Grand old hotel with spacious rooms. Set back from the road so nice and quiet.

- nealo832 (8/5): Great After A Bad Start - We got off to a bad start here when the jobsworth desk clerk refused to accept my Thai ID Card, which is accepted at every other hotel in Thailand. I wanted to leave but my wife handed over my passport. After that, the hotel was very nice/good value for money. The rest of the staff were pleasant/helpful, the hotel was clean, large rooms and a large car park. One big advantage, which you don't find in hotels of this price range post Covid is the restaurant was still open for evening meals, and the food was excellent.

On Saturday morning at 7.10 am, the buffet breakfast was nowhere to be seen, but on Sunday morning at 06.40 am, it was in full operation. Ah ,well, T.T.T! The Aircon was great and effective. The housekeeping staff were super friendly.

- memphoman (8/5): Excellent stay. Affordable Rates. Wonderful Service - I am staying here to be near my significant others family, and love it. The staff and service are wonderful, and there is plenty of shopping and food from street level, to restaurants and the mall around the corner (which has an amazingly good food court on the top level!). There's another mall not much further in the opposite direction. It is more of a local area, and I agree with other reviews, the businesses are more local than tourist. But it's easy to get around here and get where you want to go. Only thing missing is a fitness room and pool, but probably what it's more affordable. Not a big deal for me.

Unfortunately had problems with the front desk not seeing my booking so check-in took some time. However they gave us a room when they saw that I had already played, and they were kind and helpful. They have also already looked into the problem and hopefully solved it.

It was a 10 minute walk from the train station (same road upon exit) and you pass the pagoda bridge. A mall, plenty of restaurants and bars all within walking distance . Most businesses here cater to locals so you wont get much choices of entertainment around this hotel but it is available.

When you go to NST and need a good and nice place to stay, grab this hotel, we were definitely impressed.
