Guest Reviews
- SAWANGWAN (2/5): - Customer service was the best! The facility however was terrible. The room was tiny, had a flawed smell pretty much entire stay. A cable TV failed to connect for no reason whatsoever. The hotel itself is located just right across a loud night club. It opens up all night. We were unable to sleep-TERRIBLE!!! SAFE YOURSELF - STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL.
- Tyler (8/5): Good hotel slightly outside of town - Viewpoint hotel with no view. Stay and hotel was amazing quality. Good security. Across the river from the town so everything is a 10 minute walk or Grab away
- Timbo (10/5): - Excellent stay, clean and tidy accommodation. Walkable to nearby attractions and food
- seree (6/5): - ที่พักดูดี แต่เครื่องทำน้ำอุ่นเสีย แอร์ใช้ได้ดี นอนได้หลับสบาย
- Graeme (8/5): view point stay - good clean hotel for travellers looking for something cheap
- daledrader (8/5): Will stay again. Excellent location - This is a budget 3 star hotel. Excellent location within 3 minutes walking to many various restaurants.
The price for the rooms is fair. Large rooms with balconies and very good air conditioners.
Staff is friendly.
Laundry service is not available, and staff are unable to arrange an outside service to do laundry.
Parking can be a problem on weekends when the hotel is busy
Mo water heaters for coffee and able
In the rooms
Beds are a bit hard, as to be expected in 3 star hotels throughout Thailand
Overall fair hotel for the price. The great location makes up for any other shortcomings.
- Ralph (6/5): - Okay
- patricia (10/5): Très bon hôtel très bien situé. - Hotel situé au bord de la rivière, restaurants très agréables aux alentours. Personnel très sympathique. Propreté au top.
Près du centre ville.
- richard (10/5): - Sans faute. Tres tranquille bon matelas confortable
- richard (10/5): Sans probleme - Super confortable .. neuf ... bonne eau chaud restaurent sympathique a quelque pas .. riviere nan a vous pieds
- 2520sekiro (8/5): Clean and simply - Nothing to say much about this place since I was here only one night by the way I like quality of cleanliness and location not far from City center, however compared to the price and the size 28 sqm I think this hotel value for the money just do not expect more than the money you paid.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Highly recommended, I can recommend. I would check in again.
- nzronster1 (10/5): Expectations Met - Though everything about this hotel is basic, it meets requirements. Don't expect anymore than the price you pay for. The rooms are comfortable and everything from the front desk to room fascilities are adequate. There are a couple of casual restaurants just across from the hotel with a good selection of food, dessert and drinks.
- shelley (8/5): Very clean and friendly - Very clean and pleasant hotel. A little out of downtown so a bit of a walk, but an easy walk to the bridge into downtown. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are pleasant. The hotel does not have a restaurant but there are some within a short distance. For price and value I would highly recommend this hotel.
- chatchoi (8/5): Valuable and nice atmosphere - This Hotel is a middle and privacy Zone along the river it have a valuable rate and cleany room Also In The bathroom but not recommend for visitor That not have own vihecle because far from the transportation area.
Around this Hotel have many Good atmosphere Restaurant that i recommend you to try this at Bucktown Cafe and In the Night Club that is very Popular In This district In The Name of Ronghug I can see then you will love it when you relax.
This hotel request a self service like airbub even though i so satisfying.
- thesenseireborn (10/5): clean and very well located - the hotel is situated near the river and is not too far from the trainstation, where you can rent a motorcycle. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Management and staff are very friendly and helpfull. In front of the hotel is a small place where you can eat and there is small tattoo shop with a very talented tattoo artist.
- TernCk (8/5): very good for quick stay and not far from the restaurants and attractions - very clean and comfortable stay, very large room
good shower, wi-fi, air conditioning, refrigerator
not too far from the attractions, temples and nice restaurants around
but no breakfast, only some drinks available downstairs
- Peter (10/5): Off the main road but that's OK. - This hotel is located a little "off the beaten path", but don't let that deter you from staying here. It was easy to get to, and easy to get out of town in the morning. Plenty of parking and a couple of really good restaurants a very short walk away. Room was sparkling clean and quiet. The only downside to this room was that the bathroom floor was all tile and after showering – especially with soap on it – it was dangerously slippery.
- B3480DMdanielm (8/5): Good price for a quick stay - Me and a friend where travelling to Chiang Mai from Bangkok and stopped off in Phitsanulok for a few days.
We stayed here for 2 nights and were very happy with the room and staff. The price was very good working out around £15 per night.
Room was very clean and spacious.
Getting to and from the station was pretty easy, 5 mins in a cab. And other attractions are pretty easy to get to.
Some very nice bars and restaurants across the road that I would recommend also, playing live music and good price for food and drinks.
Would definitely stay here again!
- KelvinK655 (8/5): Basic but good - This hotel is exceptionally basic, not even breakfast available BUT it is very clean, good shower, good air conditioning, good wi fi and a large room with balcony. The staff are also friendly .the position does not have public transport close by but you can always call a taxi. there are good views of the river
- Verified traveler (8/5): family stay - New hotel and clean but with basic services. Just hot water and instant coffee set out in the morning. Pleasant looking building and comfortable room.
- Alexandra (10/5): Great Hotel! - I had a great experience. The location of the hotel is good--I was able to walk everywhere that I wanted to go and when I checked out they were able to help me call a taxi at the front desk (as my Thai is still a work in progress). You aren't in the middle of Phitsanulok in terms of stores and restaurants but you are able to walk to them (1-2 km). The room was also much nicer than I was expecting -- it was very clean. I only stayed for two nights but I had no issues with the hotel and it was an overall amazing experience.
- christianbJ7410TL (8/5): Very clean and spacious room. - This hotel is new and very spartan. The rooms are large but all lighting is in the ceiling and glaringly bright white, so this is no place to just sit and relax. Curiously, there are no bedside or reading lights.
The area along the Nan River appears to be up and coming chic, with nice restaurants and bars with lots of live music. However, to walk along the street at night means lots of soi dogs; mostly harmless but annoying.
I had a car, but pity those who don't as it's quite a hike to the main road and further still into town..
- ashleyjpyne (6/5): Good & comfortable - It’s a little bit out of the way. There is a road that takes about 10 minutes to walk down, which then takes you to a main road, where it’ll take you another 15 minutes to reach the town/anything going on. One of the benefits of its’ location is the fact it is right on the river and as a result, the area boasts some of the nicest restaurants, complete with live music and a wide range of dishes from their menus. I wasn’t best pleased with the staff here. I’m from England and we are sensitive creatures, so take that with a pinch of salt. I was impressed with the cleaners, who gave us the best directions and friendliest service. The room itself was massive!! It was also very clean and tidy. You can immediately see where the hotel is saving money. There is no water provided in the room, there is limited toilet roll (if any) when you arrive and there is no tea/coffee in the room. It’s only little things, but they do make all the difference.
- 808 TATW (8/5): Clean, western hotel - bad architect - The hotel is very efficient, clean and a great value. Staff during our stay was friendly, but very limited English.
Rooms are very clean, almost sterile. Parking right outside. Restaurants and several bars within short walking distance.
However, the architect/developer should be fired. It is a 5 story hotel, with elevator. But that one is always half a floor off. Not sure what the thinking was behind that, but it is a major nuisance if you have a lot of luggage. Also, the toilet is wedged in behind the sink, and the entire bathroom is the shower, so, thanks to the really good water pressure, everything will get wet, toilet paper included...
- Lex.G (8/5): Good value. - Bit out of the center of town. Just off the main highway made it easy to find.
- tim (10/5): Nice quiet hotel. And central. - All new, comfortable bed. Clean and white with a bathroom that works and doesn't smell.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Immaculately clean and quiet - Really appreciate a clean and cheery hotel with plenty of natural light and softer bed comparable to North American standards. Bathroom still looks new with no grout darkened by mold or mildew. Hope it stays that way! Will definitely recommend to friends and family. Right across the street is Buck Town, a chic restaurant with live music and attentive service.
- Bruce (8/5): Clean comfortable good location - A clean and comfortable hotel good value for the money and near the riverside
- Liana H (10/5): Clean and simple hotel - Spacious and clean room, but as expected limited services at the hotel. Relatively close to train station and have several decent cafes and restaurants around there.
- malcolmj253 (8/5): Clean and comfortable, but not homely - On arrival, there was no one to help me with my bags. No smiles at reception. The hotel is new and rather bare. My room was on level 2, but without the River View promised. In fact it's unlikely that most rooms have a river view, because the hotel is set well back away from the river, and on one side the view is blocked by a neighbouring building.
The room was a good size. It was very clean and comfortable, and everything worked to my satisfaction, but there were no English language channels on the TV.
The housekeeping staff were friendly and efficient.
The hotel could benefit from some more pictures on the walls and some green plants. The slightest sound echoes around the building.
There are some restaurants nearby, but they are closed during the afternoon.
There is no obvious means of transport into the town, and it's quite a long walk. So this hotel is only suitable for people with their own transport.
The Japanese restaurant in front of the hotel is very good, and is popular with young Thais. There are numerous restaurants nearby with live music, but only open in the evenings.
There are no facilities at the hotel, so it's really just somewhere to rest overnight and then head out for the day.
- DennisD425 (8/5): Modern Hotel, in a Developing District, with a Conventional Bathroom - The hotel was recently constructed on the west side of the Nan River, in an area that is under development with some restaurant options. The rooms are modern with adequate space and furniture for organizing one's belongings. The main flaw was the bathroom, built in conventional thai style. The shower is in the middle of the space without segregation so after a morning shower, the floor is covered with water for most of the day since the toilet also suffers from the lack of any exhaust fan or natural ventilation. Note that motorcycle rental is not common in this town but a small Honda dealership is in walking distance. take the route across the Nan river towards the train station, the dealer will be at a corner on the right. rental is 250 baht/day.
