I travelled to Vienna to attend the Eurovision Song Contest and I had a booking that I’ve made a year ago. Out of curiosity, I checked on Booking to see the prices around Eurovision Week, and I stumbled upon this place with half the price of my original booking. I immediately canceled my other booking and I booked Room 55. Initially, I was a bit skeptical about my stay, because I don’t like staying at BnBs due to the fact that I don’t like contributing to the global housing crisis, but I was pleasantly assured when I arrived that the establishment is on the ground floor and it wasn’t originally made for inhabitants, so it was just a space that was utilized properly without being at the expense of the local citizens. The room that I got was for one person or a couple. It was VERY clean exactly as I like it, the bed was very comfortable and it was very cosy. The bathroom was also extremely clean, with a hairdryer, several clean towels and soap for shower and hands. The common kitchen was very well-made with 3 tables. It was taken care of really well with a very good quality nespresso machine and several options for tea. You could also have free tap water (which is very safe to drink in Vienna) and cutlery for anyone that wants to have breakfast/lunch/dinner. Location wise, the place is right next to the metro station and the city center is super accessible through the green line. My whole experience was excellent, and it showed that the owner really put an effort to it and that he cared for his guests to have a splendid stay. I highly recommend this place for anyone that wants a cosy, comfortable stay in Vienna. My overall experience was amazing so at this point anything I’ll say is basically nitpicking, it’s not really criticism. I’d recommend to maybe change the main entrance door of the place. It looks a little warned off from overuse, so for security reasons that would definitely be beneficial. Also, while my sleep was great, I’d definitely benefit from a bigger duvet to sleep. Maybe one that it’s for two people would be more comfy and cosy.

• Heike (10/5): Angenehme Unterkunft - Die Lage, die Zimmergröße, die Ausstattung waren für mich optimal. Den Türcode und Informationen habe ich rechtzeitig vor der Ankunft erhalten. Alles super sauber,bequemes Bett und angenehm ruhig. Die Gästeküche habe ich nicht gebraucht. Es war ein sehr entspannter Aufenthalt. Danke!

• Wilma (10/5): Fijne uitvalsbasis in Wenen - Een prettige comfortabele kamer. Goed bed, fijne badkamer met inloopdouche. Heel schoon en een goede airco. De ontbijtkamer waar je je eigen ontbijt kunt eten en gratis nespresso-koffie en thee kunt pakken is een fijne aanvulling. Het was er rustig en goed geïsoleerd, geen last gehad van lawaai. Vlakbij stopt bus 59a naar de Karlsplatz, vanwaar je ook weer makkelijk verder reist naar alle kanten. Niets.

• Kevin (10/5): To good to tell you about! - Everything was fabulous! We had room 5 which was opposite the breakfast room, so very convenient. A quiet boutique hotel in a great area, with bus 13A to the central station (Haupbanhof), a 10-minute walk from Room 55. Very good facilities (iron, ironing board, luggage room if you need it, free tea (large choice) and coffee, with milk, sugar etc, and a guest fridge for your breakfast/wine/beer supplies. Never met the owner, Max, but his colleague who serviced the rooms and breakfast room was charming and very helpful, and had far better English than our faltering Deutsch😄 Definitely would stay here again 👍👍👍 Nothing!

Vermieter sehr nett, Zimmer hell, modern und geräumig ausgestattet. 5 min zur U-Bahnstation Pilgramgasse. Überall Frühstücksmöglichkeiten (Budapest Bistro & Gregors Konditorei sehr zu empfehlen). Margareten-Quartier hat uns sehr gefallen. Trendy und gemütlich. Raum mit Kaffee und Tee (kostenlos), Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle und Geschirrspühler vorhanden. Koffer können am An-/Abreisetag deponiert werden. Preis-/Leistung stimmt vollumfänglich. Alles top! Wir kommen wieder. Nichts
• Hazel (10/5): Exceptionally clean accommodation within walking distance/short metro ride of city centre - Cleanliness. Room (immaculately clean) was simple, yet tasteful. Shower room was bright, modern and, again, exceptionally clean. Location was only a few minutes' walk from metro and from an excellent supermarket (Eurospar). Really appreciated the spotlessly clean and stylish kitchen with tea/coffee making facilities. No table next to bed on which to deposit spectacles/water at night - not really possible, because of the positioning of the bed in relation to the door.

• Rainer (8/5): - Alles war unkompliziert, lief online und mit Zugangscode. Es gibt kein Personal, lediglich für die Reinigung. Zimmer, Bett/Matratze, Bad, Fußbodenheizung sehr gut. Im Zimmer gibt’s zu wenig Ablagemöglichkeit (bzw. es gibt so gut wie keine!!)

• Παναγιώτης (10/5): Room 55 a perfect place. - Το ξενοδοχείο βρίσκεται σε απόσταση 5' με τα πόδια από την στάση pilmagrasse του μετρό γραμμή U4. Απο έξω περνανε πολλά λεωφορεία. Γενικά η απόσταση από το κέντρο της Βιέννης με μέσα μεταφοράς ειναι 10'-12'.Άρα αυτό το καθιστά ένα ξενοδοχείο πολύ κοντά στο κέντρο με άμεση πρόσβαση προς και από αυτό. Επίσης η απόσταση από το παλάτι Schönbrunn πάλι μέσω του μετρό είναι 15'. Το ξενοδοχείο είναι πάρα πολύ. Καθαρό. Επίσης είναι πάρα πολύ ήσυχο. Τα δωμάτια είναι πολύ καθαρά και πολύ άνετα. Το μπάνιο πολύ καθαρό και πολύ ευρύχωρο. Υπάρχει εξοπλισμένος χώρος με καφετιέρα (επαγγελματική nespresso μηχανή) που κάνει πολυ καλό καφέ, φούρνο μικροκυμάτων, στον οποίο προσφέρεται δωρεάν καφές και τσάι. Σε αυτό το χωρο μπορείς να απολαύσεις το πρωινό σου ή όποιο άλλο γεύμα θες μέσα στην ημέρα σου. Η εξυπηρέτηση ειναι κάτι παραπάνω από άψογη. Ο οικοδεσπότης είναι εκεί για ότι χρειαστείς με άμεση απάντηση σε όλα τα αιτήματα σου. Με συμβουλές για μαγαζιά και σχετικά με την Βιέννη. Ο οικοδεσπότης κάνει την διαμονή σου πραγματικά εξαιρετική. Η κυρία που καθαρίζει τα δωμάτια είναι ευγενικη, πρόσχαρη και με έτοιμη να σε βοηθήσει σε ότι θες. Γενικά το ξενοδοχείο είναι πραγματικά μια εξαιρετική επιλογή να μείνει κανείς. Σίγουρα σε μελλοντικό ταξίδι μας θα ξαναμεινουμε εκει. Όλα ήταν τέλεια

• Jana (9/5): Super Lage - zentrumsnah ohne zu touristisch zu sein - Die zentrumsnahe Lage - zu Fuß als Spaziergang oder mit der U-Bahn sehr schnell zu erreichen Einige typisch österreichische Lokale in der Nähe Der gemeimschaftliche Frühstücksraum mit Kaffeeautomat und Kühlschrank, sodass man die Wahl hat - Frühstücken gehen oder sich in der Unterkunft selbst versorgen. Die Lichtverhältnisse im Bad sind etwas zu dunkel - aber das ist Meckern auf hohem Niveau

• Ifigenia (10/5): Great stay overall - Amazing room with all the necessary amenities. There was a fridge and other facilities in the common area. The room was comfortable and very clean. We stayed for a week and really enjoyed it. It is also close to many public transport options. The windows could not be opened. Also, since the rooms are only a few centimeters above ground level, we couldn't open the curtains and could hear pedestrians passing by and talking outside.
• CLAUDINE (9/5): - Room 55 est très bien situé pour visiter Vienne. Le personnel est adorable et réactif. La chambre est très propre spacieuse et fonctionnelle. Le petit plus de la cuisine commune avec lait thé café et petits gâteaux secs est un vrai plus.
• Blaz (10/5): Great location, cosy and bright room - close to the Vienna center and Naschmarkt, but quiet. - Great location (direct bus to Wien Hbf and U4 station), quiet neighbourhood, good sound insulation (even in ground floor room), cosy and bright. I missed a (warm) table ambient lamp to make the room even more cosy in the evening.
• Catherine (10/5): Great hotel, comfortable beds - a winner! - Quiet accommodation, lovely fresh room, good size, although only some coat hooks with coat hangers as storage. We stayed 2 nights so this was fine for us. On the ground floor at street level but no significant street noise. Shared kitchen space was great along with free tea and coffee. Close to Metro and bakeries within short walking distance, would stay again. There is a lip at the door which I tripped on twice, our room and the breakfast room had this, maybe could be evened out.

• Chantal (10/5): J’y retournerais, bel emplacement qui respectait mon budget. - À quelques pas de la station de métro. Aire commune très bien avec tous les équipements de cuisine et frigo commun. Chambres joliment décorées. Il y a une épicerie tout près. Certaines chambres donnent sur une rue un peu passante. Personnellement, j’ai bien dormi et cela ne m’a aucunement dérangé.

Einziger kleiner Nachteil: Die Fenster lassen sich nicht öffnen – das war zwar im Voraus bekannt, hätte den Aufenthalt für uns aber noch perfekter gemacht. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist hervorragend. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Es war insgesamt alles sehr sauber. Allerdings lagen bei unserer Ankunft sowohl im Bett als auch im Waschbecken und in der Dusche fremde Haare.

• Sofia (10/5): Ich habe mich aufgrund der im Feld oben beschriebenen Qualität sehr willkommen und gefühlt. - Sauberkeit, wunderschöne Einrichtung, leckerer Kaffee, tolles Geschirr Ein leichtes, stetiges und etwas anstrengendes Dröhnen (vielleicht von den Leitungen) war zu hören, wenn alles ruhig war (nachts). Das war vielleicht nur bei diesem Zimmer so? War jedoch kein Problem, da ich Ohrenstöpsel dabei hatte.

There is a small desk in the room, but only a short (0.5 m) stool to sit on. The stool is to short for the desk, so you cannot work at the desk. I wish there was a standard sized chair/stool. Otherwise, everything else was great.

• Chloris (10/5): Perfect room for a couple - Room was perfect, comfortable beds, floor heating and nice breakfast area. You can help yourself to coffee and water. Owner was really nice too. Accomodation is close to the metro and you can easily reach Vienna or the main train staytion. I would happily book again. Nothing :)

The room, blankets, and bathroom were very clean and well maintained. I really appreciated the fact that everything you need was provided: free tea and coffee, and all the necessary toiletries in the bathroom (toilet paper, shower gel, shampoo, etc.), with no shortages. The location is in a very quiet area and, although the room was on the ground floor, I was pleasantly surprised that there was absolutely no noise from outside. The property is also about 30 minutes from the city center, which was a big plus. The host was very kind and responded quickly to all of my questions. Thank you very much for your kindness! I will definitely come back in the summer! There is nothing negative to mention; everything was impeccable!

• Steven (8/5): A good option if you want something private rather than a hotel. - We liked the: • Comfort of the room • Access to the kitchen where we could make a hot drink • Good access to the room as it was on the ground floor We didn't like that there was no option for fresh air but we understand the reason as it was on the ground floor but it meant that the room felt a bit stuffy in the mornings when we awoke.

• Andrei (10/5): Not bad for the money we paid - Easy to check in and check out, nice interior, quiet, soft bed, warm in the room, there is a cozy shared kitchen You can hear a little noise from trucks when they pass by, as the rooms are on the ground floor. But they don't go there often, it was mostly quiet
• M. Kach (9/5): - Schöne moderne Zimmer und Bad in toller Lage, sehr sauber und bequemes Bett, wenige Gehminuten zur U-Bahn Station. Man bekommt einen Code für die Eingangstür und das Zimmer. Gratis Kaffee und Tee in der Küche, wo man auch frühstücken kann. Wir hatten sogar vor der Tür einen Parkplatz bekommen. Kann man auf jeden Fall empfehlen, werde auch sicher wieder buchen. Ich kann gar nichts negatives sagen

La signora che si occupa della gestione/pulizia dello stabile è stata sempre gentilissima e capace di comunicare anche in lingua inglese. Il proprietario con cui abbiamo comunicato è stato molto disponibile e ci ha dato la possibilità di lasciare i bagagli in struttura sia prima del check in che dopo il check out. È, inoltre, presente una sala breakfast in cui è possibile trovare dell'ottimo caffè, the, latte. L'hotel è infine molto ben collegato con la metro e vari autobus di superficie.
